I have watched so many carnivore videos over the years and this is one of the best. It’s so helpful to see what and how much you eat in a day. If I don’t plan, I tend to pick which is not satisfying and leads to binging. Thanks!
Jenny, Make a video of what brought you to Carnivore eating? Talk about your food addiction problems and all the different diets you tried over the years. Compare to how you are doing now at this stage of your life. Good luck!
As always, excellent video! I have always been intimidated with cooking using stainless steel pans due to the stickiness issue. So, this was very helpful information on how to use them properly and not experience that. I love my blue diamond ceramic pots and pans but may have to venture over to the ss side. I'm a boring carnivore eater too, but it works so well for keeping the temptations away. When i get to feeling too boring or limited I will whip up one of your carnivore recipes like the white pizza. 🙂
Great Content, Thank you, I enjoy seeing how other people cook, it gives me a few ideas to try to change it up sometimes. Nice Pans and of course great to see the little cuties.
You think your menu is boring. I eat 1 ground patty with 3 eggs cooked in butter and half an Avocado (still trying to wean myself off from carbs) for breakfast, 4 oz steak, 2 eggs and half Avocado for lunch and for dinner I have a 4 oz salmon, 3 eggs cooked in butter and 2 pieces of bacon. Same everyday M-F and weekends I have a huge Omelet and pork ribs and chicken. Thanks for sharing! BTW, does coffe on an empty stomach raise your blood sugar? Mine does so I wait until after breakfast or during to have it.
Hi Jenny! I'm getting ready to start carnivore but I'm worried about meal planning. You mentioned before about providing a meal plan if someone subscribes to your Instagram. The problem is I'm not on there.........I know I'm wierd, but I do follow you on UA-cam! Is there another way to get that?! Thanks!
What did those ribeyes you cut from Costco cost you? I love ribeyes but it can be so expensive and the way you’re buying it I am guessing is a much better deal?
Why do you need supplements at all? Carnivore should have everything we need, right? What am I missing? I don’t want to take supplements. What else should we eat to avoid taking pills?
Hello! That is not necessarily true. For example, people that have had gastric bypass 100% need to supplement even on Carnivore. If you are addressing a root cause issue such as CIRS, thyroid, lyme, etc, you will need to take supplements. If you have the MTHFR gene mutation, you absolutely have to supplement with methylfolate and methylcobalamin (B12). There are nuances to this.
Jenny, I noticed a slice of cheese on each of the baconators. Do you feel consuming cheese and/or other dairy products from time to time is okay when you're on carnivore?
Hello! Yep, I do cheese a couple times a month. I think you need to figure out what works best for you. For me, I cant do a ton of dairy because it bloats me up and slows my weight loss. But some people can do dairy just fine on Carnivore.
I may have missed it in one of your videos, but have you tested your iodine levels or are you just assuming some level of deficiency and taking the drops based on that? (I think we're probably all deficient to some degree, but I'm considering getting the iodine test available through Own Your Labs to get a better feel for dosing...)
Hi. is there any specific reason for the coffe to be decaf. I started carnivore 6 weeks ago and it seems thats the only difference to what I've been doing
Yea, I cook my eggs every day prep my steaks 3 times a week but unfortunately I am quitting carnivore diet after 3 month try and going back to a low carb diet instead
@@docbell959sure, to be fair, I didn't try carnviore for weight loss nor curing metabolic disease. I tried it because I want to see what it would do to the body, how the body would feel, any nuisances to be aware of...etc and if it would be okay for one of my family members who was diagnosed with cancer a few months earlier to try to starve off the cancer cells. Of course I know what I experienced might not tranlsate to the next person, let alone a sick person, but I wanted to have the experience to share and/or guide the family member should he decided to try this diet. One month into the diet though, I know it wouldnt suit him but I kept with the diet for 2 more months anyway. The biggest reason why I quitted after 3 months is that I had a hard time recovering from weightlifting and my muscles were sored all the time and I didnt make any progress to either lift heavier or more reps at the same weight in that 3 month period. Training performance was also inconsistent. Someday I could squat X set of Y weight for Z reps, but on the next push day, I would struggle to squat the same. I train 3x a week and have been weightlifting for 6 years. And I could feel that there was no “juice” in the muscles when I tried to push. Now I eat 70-90grams of sweet potato or rice 5x a week and that little bit of carbs have already made a huge difference in my training as I could feel the “juice” in the muscles. I also did blood test on cholesterol prior to begin and after quitting the diet. I am honest to you that it did scare me a bit even though I knew beforehand what I was getting myself into. All HDL, LDL, triglyceride figures have gone up and the thing I didn't like is triglyceride jumped up from 0.5mmol/L to 1.6mmol/L even though it is still within optimal range and Apol B/A1 ratio is 1.2 which is higher than optimal range. My HDL is 3.1mmol/L so triglyceride/HDL ratio is fine. C-reactive protein and homocysteine figures are also within optimal range. I only did a CaC test after quitting the diet and the score is zero. Overall I did enjoy the diet because eating a ribeye steak and 5 eggs daily is just an unbelievable treat and something I will never get tired of. Have to admit though I still havent figured out the bowel movement by the time I quitted the diet.

@@Thuds593 hello! While that makes sense on the surface, it’s actually a little bit more nuanced than that. I actually have Hashimoto’s so that is what is contributing to my brain fog. That has nothing to do with diet.
I cant believe how much you are able to eat in a day..Like the Monday..Im surprised honestly..Im a hockey coach in great shape, I run 4-5 x a week 3 miles, I coach and skate 4x a week on ice..My first meal usually is around 4-5 pm ( steak , meatballs,or eggs)..then I go jogg or on ice, and thats about it, maybe couple pieces of beef jerky 9 pm....I cant belive you are able to eat 3x a day..all that meat..Im just surprised..Im 5,11 tall and 170 lbs

Be careful drinking out of aluminum cans because of metal toxicity and plastic’s. I know carnivore is restricted enough and throwing in the metal and plastic toxins is hard. 😂
