    Perfect video for me. I had a double fracture in my right arm (under shoulder) on November 22. I had lost over 40 pounds this year on Ketovore but due to fracture I began the down slide of a pity party and have been eating crap since then. I haven’t gotten on the scale yet but can tell I have put on fat. I’ve put together a program for me the rest of the year involving sardines, meat, eggs, and bacon. The hardest part of my injury was I couldn’t get on my bike at all since my right arm/shoulder was in so much pain ( I was on pain pills at night for 3 weeks). Looking forward to seeing your next video as I continue my health journey. Happy Holidays to everyone on Jenny’s team!

    I really appreciate how much you share with us. I am kind of new to my carnivore journey. I have had some stumbles and cheated with a couple gingerbread cookies and a few drinks. I do my best to get back on the right path. I have tried to add a few veggies back into my diet. Most veggies really upset my stomach so I am doing mostly meat. I am not hungry all the time and wonder if I am eating enough. Down 21 lbs after 3 months. Jenny you look great!

    What a great video. As you said, it confirms what we know will happen if we eat the wrong things but to see the data is fascinating. I ate carrot cake in a weak moment and suffered for 5 days. Not worth it!! Thanks so much for sharing!

    I have also started using a berberine supplement to help me get better A1c results. I use a Hydro berberine that I ordered on Amazon, but at the moment I can’t remember the name of it. What type of berberine supplement do you recommend?

    "You don't lose fat cells, they just deflate" - I suppose this is true, but gaining weight doesn't gain any extra fat cells either, they just inflate.

    This was so helpful ! If i go off course feel it almost immediately. I thrive on carnivore. Same as you . So thank you for this video. Where do you order your cgm's? Drs around here will not prescribe them to anyone whos isnt diabetic. Id love to see my daily numbers and averages for a few months.

      Hello! You can get over the counter ones from Stelo or Lingo, I personally use Nutrisense. There is a link to Nutrisense in the description, they have a pretty good sale going on now :)

    I am interested in the dexa scan and luckily there is a place close to me. Will be fun and interesting to see how I change. 12 months of carnivore now, so not exactly from the start but good enough.

    Interesting. It would of been better to keep a log book on exactly what and how much you are. If you can remember, how many alcohol drinks did you consume in the month to raise your visceral fat .5 lbs?

    • @JennyMitich
      @JennyMitich  Годину тому

      Hello! It wasnt just the alcohol, it was everything else as well. The only way to know how much the alcohol alone raised it would be to repeat the month but without the alcohol, and I am definitely not doing that LOL

    Can’t afford carnivore bars

  • @dombarton2483

    Why go off course in the first place? So you can make a video telling us you did? Dairy is carnivore anyway. So technically you didn't go off course, just consumed more mass in terms of dairy which has lactose. Unless you are lactase persistent and have the gene then its part of your DNA making it perfectly fine to consume everyday. I will limit it to 2 slices of cheese a day. My weight never fluctuates. Only 1 meal a day no more.

    • @AnneMB955
      @AnneMB955 5 годин тому +1

      That great your weight has not fluctuated. I’ve also stayed the same weight, for a year now. No counting, just eating until full. A little cheese and Greek yoghurt. All I need.

    10:41 fat can only increase as fast as the calorie surplus allows it, inflammation has nothing to do with fat gain. You can't create energy out of thin air. Inflammation can make you gain weight faster sure, buts all just bloat weight.

    • @HecticMolments
      @HecticMolments 10 годин тому

      The primary thiing that facilitates fat storage (and the ability to tap into it and lose it) has less to do with caloric intake and more to do with what the calories are made of. Insulin is the fat storing hormone. It plays the biggest role. That's why low carb diets are so good for weight/fat loss. Also, sugar/carbohydrates, no matter what they are from, have some form of inflammatory effect in the body. That's just a biological fact. Inflammation and chronic elevated insulin (hyperinsulinemia) are the root of all disease and conditions, in one way or another.

    • @peejayfromhell
      @peejayfromhell 5 годин тому

      @@HecticMolments the only fact is that your body cannot work outside basic laws of physics. Insulin can't store anything if there is no energy to store, so in the long term it means nothing for fat loss. Among hundreds of human randomized control trials there wasn't a single one that shows that when calories are equated low carb (or high carb) diets generate more fat loss.
