There are certain sectors and industry like banking, health, education which must be strctly and fully with the Govt. Government must be entirely responsible for any loss to entire public in these industry/sector. Thus there are two options to govt. FOR EXAMPLE: constitutional amendment that banks' failures shall not in any circumstance impact customer even by a single rupee. Or creat a huge customer protection fund that takes care of any impact on customer to the extent of last customer's last rupee in the event of banks loss etc. These are the solutions and not waste and useless discussions like privatisation or nationalisation or reforms or no reforms etc.

Govt bank suks.. Even manager don't respond to issues...
End of the day they have to face privatisation.... That make them competitive
1. Most of the loan defaulters are from one particular state and we all know very much.
2. Through privatization the above mentioned state people more easily dupe banks and public will suffer.
3. If the Prime Minister and president ( executive) accepts to keep their security from private security services for a cheaper price, we can rely upon their assertion.
4. They can't rely on private security but people should rely on private banks.
5. Privatize the defense services also. Economic activity involved in every where.
6. In parliament also you have business hours. If you want to remove the word business in the Government books, remove all.
7. We can't imitate the economy of USA or Britain or some other country. Their economic decisions suits their country. Indian economics suits Indians .

Govt shouldn't do any work. All works to be done by private companies on chargeable basis. Income tax to be removed. Govt should collect taxes from service providers and poor should be subsidized.
Paying from your pocket is direct tax ie, income tax. Paying from others pocket is indirect tax GST.
Income tax is payable by the people who have income.
Gst has to paid by every one irrespective of incone. If you buy a soap, you have to pay GST.
Now the Government concentration is on GST ie, indirect tax and poor has to suffer and become more poorer.
As per the present policies only Rich people should live in this cou

Lacks of aspirants preparing for bank exam pls consider it
, assuming, that all 27 Banks got Privatized, I expect the following effects:
1)the Biggest impact will be on Social Security Schemes like Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojna, Suraksha Bima Yojna and so many other yojnas running in current Financial Environment. The Newly Born Management of Private Banks will be lot lot Profit Oriented and they will restrict them to Profit Making Activities only. Most of these schemes will face a reverse Push. However, Ministry of Finance may force these schemes on Banks still, they will limit their involvement for the sake of their Survival.
2)Most of the Rural Branches of these Banks will be withdrawn, since most of the Rural Branches contribute a Little or almost Nothing in the Profits, and Management would not like Loss Making Units upon their Heads. Banking will hell lot of Difficult in remote Locations.
3)Most of the services that the Customer of PSU Banks are enjoying free of cost (somewhat, the customer of Private Banks are enjoying the same too, having due competition from PSU Banks) will be chargeable. Passbooks, ATM Cards, Lost Card Liability, Nomination, Cash Deposit, Enquiries and many small services has to be paid for.
4)Currently the PSU Banks employ around 7 Lac Personnels. These include the both extreme ends, Both Old and Young, Experienced and Novice, Capable and useless, Worthy and unworthy. The people are employed and they earn salaries. after Privatisation, FIRING is the first thing going to happen. Unworthy and useless employees will have to be thrown out to reduce cost and increase productivity and that will be done with no hesitation.
5)Lending to Corporate will become friendly. in PSU Environment, banks run under Govt. Pressure and have to act as Govt. says. Though, it will become friendly, it will be far more secure and vigilant and NPAs may be expected to come down (Unless some serious fraudster grabs the top position and that is not very much unexpected)
Political pressure may be reduced on banks.. for that sake no need to privitize right?

1) public sector bank boards should be independent and accountable, and allowed to choose the banks’ CEOs( P.J nayak committee recommends )
2) Improving governance and management at public sector banks
3)Banks should not be forced to implement the government’s policy priorities. In particular, an all-party agreement that loan waivers should be avoided is in the national interest..
