I really loved this video. I think it’s especially revealing of a specific culture to experience the food, the dishware and the way in which you prepare the items. So fun! Thanks Cecilia!
0:49 we had this weather in Switzerland the part I live in, from mid February until end of June😵💫this year!! Every day rain, rain, rain. No summer day to go swimming, cold lakes. Never seen before! We had 1/3rd of the sunshine as usual. July/August seems to be a bit better though.
I love Rhubarb pie, crumble, it’s so good. I came from England but have lived in USA for 361/2 years. I enjoyed watching Christoffer in the kitchen today. He is so very handy around the house fixing things and cooking. What a clever man he is. Oh. Your audio book arrived on my apple. I did order the book to see the picture as well. I’m American, but my parents were both first generation immigrants from Holland. My mom always made rhubarb cobbler, very similar to how Christopher made the crumble. She called anything with the fruit on the bottom/dough type addition on top a cobbler, and anything with the dough on the bottom and fruit over it was a pie. 😃 Not sure if that is an American thing or Dutch thing? But it sure always tasted good!

I,m from holland i don't mind moving to Sweden or close to it to have colder temperatures in the summer. Anyway.. it's always a pleasure to watch your videos! Thank you and please give Grim a big cuddle, he's so cute!!
Svalbard is Norwegian. Not Swedish. The languages are similar enough and Sweden too is a NATO member now, so the legal differences will likely be blurring more and more between those two countries over the next few decades.
Beautiful landscape, fog whales, ocean. I also love rhubarb custard pie, crumble, jam, pretty much anything. What that cream you pour over the top? I sometimes eat it with vanilla ice cream. Grim is so beautiful and fun to see in each video. Thanks to Christoffer for the food demos! Really liked his sweater with the flags. How’s his man- cave btw? Thank you all for another great video!

I'm new to the channel but I really love it here 💖 I appreciate that it feels like I'm really hanging out with you guys, and not just overwhelmed by ads, talking at us, and over romanticized social media life. The video strikes a really good balance for me :)
Svalvard in summer is mystical. Svalvard in winter is magical. What a stunning place you call home! Beluga whales, Grim and Christopher cooking... Wow. Lucky girl you are.😊
I really loved this video.
Please ask Kristoffer to post his recipe for the meatballs and the gravy! That dinner looked delicious!!!
Swedish meatballs, crepes, and rhubarb pie?! What an excellent menu 😊 Christoffer, you're killing me 😂 Cheers from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺
I was going to comment that those are not pancakes; they are crepes but you beta me to it LOL
@@ridingmoon1617it's a translation from swedish "pannkaka"
I love Rhubarb pie, crumble, it’s so good. I came from England but have lived in USA for 361/2 years. I enjoyed watching Christoffer in the kitchen today. He is so very handy around the house fixing things and cooking. What a clever man he is. Oh. Your audio book arrived on my apple. I did order the book to see the picture as well. I have MS for 9 years at Christmas. Left me in a wheelchair and several other conditions. my eyes don’t work as well to read so that is why I have to listen to audio now. Love to you all and keep warm. Big hug to Grim 🤗🦮❤❤❤xxx
Christoffer needs an entire cookbook! LOL Thanks for another fun video!! Already looking forward to next week! 🤭😊
They made a cookbook already!
We have two Cooking with Christoffer digital cookbooks on my website! www.ceciliablomdahl.com 😊😊
@@CeciliaBlomdahl Two?? OMG, I thought you guys only had a Nordic baking cookbook! I'll check out the other one!😊
@@CeciliaBlomdahl I have both digital cookbooks which are great. I don’t have a computer or tablet so have to view through my phone. If you ever put out a book format I would definitely purchase. Love you all!
Rhubarb crumble with custard…all of your meals looked delicious. Christopher’s healthy eating is showing.
It's the same in Australia - fruit on the bottom is a crumble, fruit on top is a pie or tart
it's almost never a dutch thing because they don't have or invented anything, certainly not in the cooking department
I never get tired of your view! I just love Christoffer and Grimm..both so chill...💙 Does Christoffer miss cooking for large groups of people? He is such a great chef!
Glad you enjoy it! ☀️
Always love watching your videos!
There are lucky people and there is Cecilia watching beluga Wales while having a coffee on her balcony.... that my friends, is another level of luck! ❣️❣️❣️😍😍😍
Svalbard is absolutely beautiful!! So is Grim!! I love all the love you give him. He is such a good boy 🥰 Your food looked amazing especially the meat balls! I was surprised to see Christopher with the rhubarb. I thought that was pretty cool. I loved watching you guys cook together. It was fun and very entertaining. You flipping the pancakes lol. I always look forward to your videos and of course Grim!! Have a great week from Pennsylvania USA 🇺🇸
Wow....This is the most I have seen Chris actually in the kuche and cooking!! One can see he is a pro at this. You guys are great. And you have a geat life. Thanks for sharing your cold cloudy days.
I was feeling down this week and Sunday afternoon I found your new video and it really picked my spirits up Thank you
OMG! Rhubarb, when Christoper pulled out the rhubarb, my ears and eyes perked up! My husbands favorite pie is strawberry rhubarb pie!
Good morning/afternoon/evening. I'm so glad to see a new video. You guys are so chill and you've built such a great life for yourselves.
I want to comment on the captions being hard to read; light text and light background is tough.
Anyway, thank you so much for sharing the cool place you live!
I love your videos. They are like a meditation to end my week. I also enjoy watching Christoffer cook. I need his recipe for the meatballs!!
LOVE to watch Christoffer in the kitchen....
I'm 62 years old and I remember my dad buying Wasa crisp bread/crackers when I was younger. I live in Canada. And yes we served it with jams and peanut butter and cheese.😊❤
I buy lingonberry jam here in London, love it. Rhubarb crumble is a very common dessert here too.
Love the whales right outside your door, beautiful.
I really like watching your videos, there's just a certain warmth to you 😊😊
Your video just makes my sunday complete❤
I was 2 months in Sweden in Västerås, on thing that amaze me is that in The Swedish supermarket you can buy food that is very high quality.
Great video with you three, love it, and food of course! ty
Greetings from Maine, USA! Thank you for sharing your video!
Thank you for letting us share your day with us, so relaxing. Can’t wait to visit Svalbard this February.
Not only have you continuously inspired me to visit Svalbard but now I also want to see Sweden and Norway just as much! And even Finland. Also your cozy home, adventure and cooking videos are so comforting to me as I’m pretty lonely with my current living situation. So glad to see you and Christoffer and Grim doing well ☺️🖤
Crisp bread with sliced tomatoes and crumbled feta cheese and a little olive oil and salt. Delicious!
Christoffer cooking channel for the wumi!!! I loved his comment, "it's not hocus pocus!" You two melt my heart that you eat together at each meal. Best wishes to you both!❤🎉
Hello from Texas to Cecilia, Christoffer & beautiful Grim!!❤️❤️❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸
Good morning! ☀️
I love that you and Kristoffer share your lunch with Grim!! ❤❤
Honestly, i can't wait for polarnight. I love seeing darkness. I,m no summer person and i can't stand the heath very well.
I love your energy and enthusiasm, and Kristoffer sitting next to you like the coolest dude.
Direct translation "vanilla sauce" so custard in English, I guess?
One of my favorites! Lingonberry💜
This video was perfect....very chill vibes. So appreciative of you sharing your life with us all😊 hope your week is very good!
Breathtaking....super relaxing....super-jealous of your residence!
Glad you enjoyed it! 🩵
@@CeciliaBlomdahl Indeed, love your videos in general - watching them is like discovering a new frontier! Look forward to watching more of your stuff!
I love watching Kristoffer cooking. There's something calming about him
Ny söndag och ny vlogg från Cecilia 👋🏻💐
Loved today's show with all the yummy food! It all looked so good! It was great to see the Belugas so close to your cabin! Bye from Scotland! 🏴
You see beluga whales from your deck in the morning? I stepped on a slug in my bare feet taking out the trash.....🤣
lol 💎
Omg! Cracked me up….😂
I lived in NYC for a decade and seriously missed bugs, slugs… any ‘proof of life’ ( apart from cockroaches). Beluga whales over breakfast are something else entirely.
This pie is what we in Canada might call a crumble. So good! And with pourable custard - to die for!
