Dreamer Deceiver is one of my favorite songs of all time. Just incredible.
TheWildHealer maybe the greatest song ever recorded.
Me to
Metoo
If that's the case I wonder if Island of Domination isn't on your list.
"There's nobody like him!" Yes. That's why we call him the Metal God.
Dude is going into the deep cuts. Have my respect for that.
Well said Joe...Joe Momma....classic...
Deep cuts is ALL that matters not the crap that top 40 puts out now!
Yeah exactly. When you get of the beaten track that's were you appreciate the true depth of a band. Which is why its a shame that alot of people nowadays choose to be more into individual songs instead of bands.
This is a deep cut
Judas Priest is the greatest metal band ever, no doubt!
Judas Priest evolved with time. They went from rock/blues to metal, pre-thrash metal, heavy metal, speed metal, 80's hairmetal, you name it. The best thing is that they nailed ALL OF THEM!
Even their latest album recorded last year put all the other metal records of that year to shame! (they are over 60 these days)
That is why Judas Priest is the best metal band in the world in my opinion! I'we been a fan of them all my life!
That's why I love them so much. Many styles of music, kicked ass in all of them. Especially Glenn and KK, they were amazing players in the 70s already but they kept getting better and better. You listen to songs like Ram It Down or One Shot At Glory and go "what, how did these psychdelic/blues players learn to shred?!". And the best part is that while they are melting your face with blisteringly fast/complex solos, they never lost their more melodic and moody roots. Their solos always tell a story.
@@Walamonga1313 Oh definetly! The band hired Scott Travis after hearing Racer-X and Glenn said ''So thats what kids listen to these days? hold my beer!'' and then they wrote Painkiller!
Truth has been spoken.
You had me until disregarding a horde of superior releases. Firepower isn't a bad album, but it's not best of anything.
@@bjacobcampbell9578 I dont like it as much as Painkiller and prior relesaes. Still a good album though : )
Sad Wings of Destiny is a classic. A masterpiece.
The BEST ALBUM!!! IMO
Rob Halford Favorite Album!!!
Agreed
Obra maestra de obras...🤟
I got a tip my hat to you I never even imagined that somebody would do dreamer Deceiver Hidden Gem
9:17 The transition from Dreamer Deceiver to Deceiver. That piano is fucking legendary. 9:25 And the riff from Deceiver kicks in. Goosebumps every time
Beyond the Realms of Death should be your next Priest track, keep up the good work Bruhhh!
Contrary to what ppl may think of this song's content, it kept me alive during a bad period. During the early 80s I had "manic depression" & was suicidal. Somehow, the peace of this song, and understanding, as I thought at the time as a young adult, of me personally, kept me alive. With Victim of Changes, the greatest 'Priest songs in my opinion.
The song has the best guitarsolo in Metal history aswell!
The entire "Stained Class" album is phenomenal. It's like "The Wall" from Pink Floyd. You cannot choose one song to say it sums up the whole album. It's a listen from 1st track to last. Phenomenal. No one else was doing this music at that time. No one.
What a killer solo, he would love this on for sure!!!
@@nwmonk3105 YThy were truly so alone in their sound, unique as you say. Listening to Preston has made me put the Sin After Sin album on full volume!
The sentinel or beyond the realms of death gotta be next man
im agree that 2 songs are incredibles
The Sentinel is one of my favorite Priest songs, especially live
Judas Priest - “Here come the Tears” is the song for you!
Their album Unleashed in the East, is the greatest rock/metal album of all time for me. It was the crowning glory to their magical work in the 70s.
Oh boy I’m loving the Judas grind you’re on. The Sentinel should be next!
Yeah, and The Sentinel too. My favorite )
Yest, that's one of the best Heavy Metal songs ever.
The Sentinel!!!! Hells yeah
Sentinel is pure epicness.
Too soon
The Ripper. 2 minutes of pure genius.
Oh "The Ripper" is awesome !
2 minutes of adrenaline rush insanity!!!
And what a bad ass topic for a song. It’s about Jack the Ripper.
Green Manulishi like wise
Judas Priest Beyond the Realms of Death! An absolute must from the Priest catalogue!!
70s Priest is my favorite. Unleashed In The East was my introduction to the band. Great live album.
Bruce and Halford were the best in the game. There was only one other contender, Dio. Check out "Last in Line" by Dio.
Goob hmmm not that much of a ” contender”. More the king🤘🏼
You're forgetting Savatage.
They are great. But Matt Barlow owns them both.
@@vikusen1857 ...Barlow is great, but come on. No one owned Dio, and no entity owns Halford.
You're forgetting Geoff Tate from Queensrÿche. Not cool, bros!
You’ve heard Bruce from Iron Maiden and Rob from Judas Priest. Now you must hear the third singer from holy metal trinity, Ronnie James Dio. You gotta check out Stargazer by Rainbow with Dio on vocals. Dio is in my opinion the best of the three.
GREAT suggestion! He'd dig Dio on Sabbath's Sign of the Southern Cross, and Heaven and Hell too
Jackson Moore my vote would be for Heaven and Hell. Can’t go wrong with any Dio song though!
Yep, i more Heaven and Hell, Stargazer little too long(IMHO).
But dont get me wrong, i still love Stargazer )
@@UKEYsPOWER ... I like Heaven and Hell more personally. I think Preston may like SOTSC more based on his reaction here. He would LOVE Stargazer, he digs long, epic songs.
Jackson Moore All The Fools Sailed Away might cause a tear.
This is actually two songs played together the first part was dreamer and then the change into deceiver. This song shows the true vocal abilities of Rob Halford in all it's glory
Another Priest classic ! B4 Heavy Metal , this is ground breaking and they lead the way !
Beyond the realms as well, probably one of the best solos ever
My first song ever heard by them, my personal favorite
Two solos actually
Domingo Reyes you got me there lol, but let’s be honest, Tipton’s solo is far superior the kk
Than*
Judas Priest. What can I say. I've been a fan since I was 13 back in '79. This band is SO influential on the entire Metal movement. They've always set the standard for other metal bands to follow or just get wrecked on the wayside.
This reaction to Victim of Changes was so authentic. Every break he took to genuflect in awe, time traveled me 45 years ago, to my exact reactions. Perfect song, effortless mind ripping vocals, 10 of 10, no critique.
I found Judas Priest through a book i read as a 12-year old that referenced them, and they have literally laid the sound track to my entire life. Seeing other People around the world connect with their music just brings me so much Joy. Literally crying x)
Next Judas Priest reaction: The Hellion/Electric eye
yes screaming for vengeance album is one of their greats.
Rob Halfords best total vocal ever bro!
He is amazing man..
the first vocal doesn't sound like him and is very soulful and warm, but then,BANG,that note gets fucking hit and off we go.What a range, and could challenge Ian Gillan peak for peak in my opinion.
@@TheCornishCockney yes kk downing said rob could sing anything, what a vocalist,!!
Una de las numerosas obras maestras de Judas Priest, por no decir el mejor tema.
A touch of evil is also a great track off the painkiller album!
I'm thinking Preston would really dig Black Sabbath Sign of the Southern Cross based off this reaction
Nick Johnson word
You would'nt go wrong with a full album reaction on Sad Wings of Destiny! I say do it!!
I've Been A Fanatic Of Priest Since I Was 12 & I'm 56 Now, And I Will Always Love My Metal Gods !!! This Song Hell The Whole Album Just Puts Me In Another Planet King There Will Never Ever Be Another Judas Priest As Long As We All Live !!! Long Live The METAL GODS !!!
BEYOND THE REALMS OF DEATH
arguably priests best tune
Yeah, Sad Wings of destiny is a Great album!
Blood Red Skies might be Priest's best song in their 50 year history, and it's relatively unknown. Not even a lot of JP fans know about it.
alot of JP fans know it! what are you talking about?
@@MotoKringles I literally never see it requested!
@@55Porter Yes, Blood red skies! Words can't describe how fucking epic it is.
Many people disregard Ram It Down but love Blood Red Skies.
I for one love that whole album.
"Ram It Down"s got some precious gems ! "Hard As Iron" and "Blood Red Skies" and "I'm a Rocker" are tops of that album IMO. Also, "Thunder Road" from this era is great ! I think it was on the "Point of Entry" remaster iirc.
This song is pure perfection.
Musically... it just grabs you the wholeway through.
And Halfords vocals are a masterclass, the way he runs through his full range.
Also! Painkiller was the bands 12th album, or there abouts.
Not their 6th.
And absolutely YES!!!!
Dio has to be done soon.
Judas Priest was the best band live. I've seen 250 at least concerts
Good to see you wandering deeper into the woods, King.
Thanks for listening to my suggestion, next island of domination, here comes the tears, and run of the mill by Priest, pure gold man, no clue what your.missing out on, I'm big for their 70s tunes, also going way back Al Atkins was the original vocals, great tune Cavier and Meths from 67, the 4 riffs will have you out of your seat. A brother with a big afro on the skins, heavy hitter.
THE METAL BAND. An epoch album. The live versions on Unleashed In the East truly show how awesome those songs were. They changed my life. Metal Gods. Thanks for the respect to them.
Judas Priest
- Tyrant
- Beyond the Realms of Death
- The Hellion - Electric Eye
C´mon braaaa
Tyrant is bad ass.
Beyond the Realms, yes!
don't forget Blood Red Skies
King Diamond, anything from the Abigail, Them, or Conspiracy album. If you want insane vocals, far outside the norm. You gotta check it out man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sanford Lopez Satan's Fall
King Diamond is a VOCAL MONSTER!!!
Melissa by Mercyful Fate is perhaps better
Judas Priest-Helion/Eletric Eye
Whenever I hear that song I gotta think that it is about the mass surveillance machine called BIG BROTHER.
After that, "Ridin' On The Wind," followed by "Bloodstone." 🙂
Yep. Love your videos dude. Great reactions.
The greatest vocal performance of all time!
beyond the realms of death must be next judas priest video react.... or maybe the sentinel...
Rob Halford is one of the best metal singers. he can sing on low mids n high tones, that voice is amazing brow,,, nice video bruuuu
It's not his range alone. It's the way he adds color to his voice, he can sound like completely different singers, sometimes multiple times in a song. He changes his vibrato from song to song. He always feels what would be best for the song and the style and then sings it that way. In his prime he was incredibly flexible and could do a damn huge variety of singing styles. In my eyes he's the Freddie Mercury of metal.
Wow! "Victim of Changes and "Dreamer Deceiver". Great reactions both, keep up the good work man.
You never disappoint my friend. Another great reaction, keep the good work going!
Priest was there when what we know as "metal" was still being built and defined. Priest was one of the OGs. That's why their early music is so all over the place.
Please! DIO-LAST IN LINE lol
The full studio version, NOT the lame video they made in the 80s that's missing parts of the song.
Rick Brasseaux agreed!
Priest beyond the realms of death ....
loved ur reaction on this!
This was the 70's Bro... We would smoke a blunt, put on the headphones, spin that record, lie back on the bed and take a trip.. 70's rock albums were about the WHOLE album. The concept. Very different from today where we just listen to one song at a time in the car or on our phone while we walk. Back then, you had to make an effort to listen to music. It was a whole thing, man.... listening to music back then was a whole ritual.... This album got me through some of the worst times of my young life... It's really cool to see people enjoying what we were experiencing back in the day... That music when it came out was somethin the world had never heard before... Thanks for the memories, King...
I love the way you think bro ... You're not alone ...
Try Judas Priest - Beyond The Realm of Death
Best JP solos!
LIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE version ... NOT studio.
Thay very similar, but studio just cleaner.
But both great.
Check this version out. Sit down and strap in for Halford and the boys at their best

Yeessssss thank you King KTF. I knew you would love it.
i LOVE what you do bro! im a HUGE Priest fan, but even beyond that, you put heart into what you review! i love it !!!
I have been into heavy metal for 40 years and to this day, no one can top Priest or Maiden
You are Definitely right about this album, Preston..Sad Wings of Destiny IS THEIR BEST ALBUM...Every song on it is Great..It does take you on an Emotional Journey and Is Most Definitely Timeless.. Thank you for Really Listening 😊I am So Blessed to have grown up with Thee Best Music..There'll Never be another time like it😊✌
I was and am a huge Priest fan, your videos are awesome. I haven’t heard these songs for years, thanks.
@King KTF Sad Wings is one of my favorite albums of all time! Yeah, every song is good! Every song. I was absolutely stoked when you did Victim of Changes! Don't miss Rock-a-Rolla, and Diamonds and Rust - from the same Judas Priest era.
If you're gonna listen to an album by Judas Priest, their fourth album Stained Class from 1978 is by far their best work from this era. You should also check out the third album Sin After Sin. It's like a perfect blend between Sad Wings and Stained Class. Love your reactions! 🤘🤘
I don’t want to be that guy but Priest has a lot more than 6 records between this and Painkiller. Some epic ones. Sin after Sin, Stained. class, Hell Bent For Leather British Steel Screaming for Vengeance Defenders of the Faith . I am missing 3 or 4 at least. And I have to disagree partly what you said. I agree many bands don’t evolve and just run out of gas. But priest evolved like no other. They went from a blues style to a speed metal. They evolved better than any metal band in history. From this to Beyond the Realms of Death to Dissident Aggressor and Exciter to The Grinder, Evil Fantasies , to Electric Eye and the Sentinel to Judas is Rising and Painkiller. Just crazy.
Yeah, Painkiller is like their 12th (or so) album...not including their live albums.
Great reaction dude. I appreciate your honest and interesting perspective on this and other classic old songs. Subscribed!
Absolute Master piece from beginning to end . Glad you enjoy it !
Loved your reaction , Keep up the great channel
Judas Priest's best selling albums are a few years after this, 'British Steel' (1980) and 'Screaming for Vengeance' (1982) were their commercial peak. Two of my favorite Judas Priest songs from those albums are "The Rage" and "Riding on the Wind".
I can't recommend 80's Priest enough, it's an amazing part of their evolution between their 70's style and Painkiller.
And Judas Priest "Screaming For Vengeance" album..."Electric Eye" and the title track
I would actually be into some full album reviews. There are a couple other channels that do that sort of thing live.
Man...your reaction drive me with so much positive energy ,thank you...
Superb reaction! Damn this is some super old school metal and you nailed it!
Beyond the Realms of Death !!!!
Judas Priest - The Sentinal or Love Bites.
Love bites is dumb
Love bites live 87
The Sentinel, fucking BEAST of a track.
CONGRATULATIONS ON 200K!!!!
Great album and this is one of my favorite songs. Your review is spot on!

Electric eye or nightcrawler you won't be disappointed
I really appreciate your honesty about how the music rides your heart and blows your mind. Thank you!
Awesome taste in Real music man !!
Lovin your analyses!! Keep em coming !
The song roads to madness by Queensryche is one hell of a roller coaster ride Bruh 🤘😎🤘
Probably my favorite Queensryche song.
Quoted it in my high school yearbook. Haha.
Saints in Hell or something off of Stained Class is always good.
Early Judas Priest is the best Judas Priest! You are on it brother!
Another flawless reaction, Preston! This is the first time I've had the pleasure of hearing this one. This is now my favorite Judas Priest song. I didn't know they were capable of something like this. And DAYAMN! That high note though!!!
You wanna hear another Top of the Game singer of heavy metal....
Geoff Tate of Queensryche….
Either go to the album "Warning"
Or
Operation Mindcrime…..
Beyond the Realms of Death -judas priest
You’re channel is probably my favorite reaction channel right now. Love how you always are willing to find something positive about each every tune. Thanks for showing some great classics in such nice way to the newer generations.
I love it that these songs are new to you but you totally get it. One of their best songs for sure! Love your genuine reactions.
Mercyful Fate - A Dangerous Meeting
Must happen. You need to discover King Diamond’s voice now. Like now.
It will only let me like this comment once
16dbuse the cons of UA-cam comments :/
He’s missing out !
Desecration Of Souls
Welcome, Princes Of Hell
A Dangerous Meeting
Dangerous Meeting is prob a good intro to MF & KD. At The Graves came to mind too. So many to choose for vocals & transitions. I'm gonna predict he'll be a fan, once he opens Pandora's box. Lol
Fuck yeah!
He really need to react to the entire Nostradamus album by Priest
Fuck yes man this week has been PERFECT with the reaction 🔥
Thank you for taking the time to listen to this genres. This is what I grew up listening to. At the time it was under appreciated. Your genuine reaction makes me happy. Glad you can share in it. Was a great time in music that is sadly missing now a days.
Trivium - Torn Between Scylla and Charybdis. You'll love it!

I can't even begin to describe how much I always got off on these songs. This is my fave JP song from my fave JP album. So cool to hear you appreciate it so much.
My brother I just started watching the videos on victim of changes...good taste in ear candy...saw em in 85 or 86 in Houston on turbo lover tour and Thank God I'm still here..Keep sharing the good taste.
dude, you have to do Rush Xanadu live Exit Stage Left tour.
DIO DIO!!!! Do Last in Line or Children of the sea from his Black Sabbath years
Glad u like and appreciate it. Great song.
Love your reactions to hearing these songs for the first time. You really feel the music. People write off metal but there are so many layers. Great to see your responses man. Respect from Ireland 🇮🇪
