I remember being diagnosed with osteoporosis and my physician throwing prescriptions at me. I began to research and discovered that along with calcium and Vitamin D, K2-M7 was also recommended. When I told my family physician, my gynecologist and physician and staff who were specifically treating my osteoporosis what I had learned, every single one of them acted like I was a reckless moron! It’s refreshing and a bit rewarding to see only a decade later this becoming more recognized. Finding data for dosing isn’t easy though so we have much to still do, but praise for progress and videos like this ❤
My Endocrinologist who treats my Osteoporosis, told me me doesn’t really agree that K2 helps put calcium where it belongs, in the bones.!!! He did increase my Vit D3 intake as I was very low. No doctor ever told me I needed D3 with Calcium supplement so for 20+ years I was only getting what might have been added in to the Calcium pills! He’s very happy for me to go back on Statins and to stay on Calcium supplement for Osteoporosis. I find iimyself wondering if the high dose of calcium I have taken for the past 20 years is partially responsible for the atherosclerosis seen in my CAC test.
If you want k2-mk7 dosage tests check pupmed for Japanese natto trials, they have been at it for a very long time and their public research is credible compared to the west. I eat 10g or so natto a day for about a year now (as cheungukyang which is awesome in savory sauces) which corresponds to about 70mcg k2-mk7 but according to the Japanese it is hard to find adverse effects at far higher doses. My BP is 18 points improved in a year and finger/toe and knee joint pain is completely gone and backpain so much better. How is your k2 adventure going for you?
I also take D3 and K2, and have for several years. Immediately, I stopped having constant respiratory infections. I have been so much healthier! I am amazed that even though doctors seem to be getting on the D3 bandwagon, many are still not aware of the need for K2 to keep the calcium out of the arteries and soft tissues. I appreciated the information in this video very much.
As a cardiac RN. I was horrified to see that most of my older patients were prescribed a calcium supplement and never given magnesium and K-2. We get enough calcium in the average diet, but D3, magnesium and K-2 are needed to protect the bones and keep calcium where it needs to be. I was only too happy to toss the big hard to swallow calcium pills in the trash when my patients protested them…my concerns were met with smirks from the docs…hence I don’t listen to many doctors. This doctor is worth listening to, imho. But, like I have said, Dr. Mercola, who is denigrated by mainstream medical folks, has been teaching everything said here for over 20 years. I always take K-2 with my D3, and I take magnesium and selenium, but no calcium.
@@bartrobinson2103 you are right about doctors not knowing much about nutrition and vitamin supplements. The pharmaceutical companies hate that we are getting savvy with this and are currently attempting to buy up all the supplement companies, and they want to get rid of or heavily limit the use of supplements. You can’t sell your toxic drugs unless the public is kept unhealthy. I have recently started looking into making my own remedies with herbs and weeds found all around us…for free! For example all parts of Dandelion is beneficial…contains vitamins A, C, K, E, folate, magnesium and potassium. It contains fiber, antioxidants and helps with blood pressure, diabetes, inflammation, increases immunity, plus many others. And all from a weed we try to kill. We need to outsmart those who are hurting us. We can do this!
Yes I tried to tell my mom to stop taking the pills. She’s 70… she had a small fall and broke her wrist and fractured a bone in her spine. Ugh!!!! Makes me so mad!
Wow. I was diagnosed with osteoporosis at age 38. I'm 61 now, and told my doctor about a month ago that I needed to be on K2. He had never mentioned it. He did tell me, eventually, not to take Ca supplements. But my low fat diet since age 18 is probably what put me there in the first place. The advice we've been given for our "health" has been exceedingly destructive. I don't even trust the healthcare system anymore, and I was a nurse for 28 years.
Get your calcium from food only. Green leafy vegies, canned/fresh wild caught salmon, prunes, take D3/K2 daily, work out with weights and walk with a weighed vest. So important! Research Barbara O'Neill. I also take a crystal of Celtic salt in the AM with a glass of water - the minerals the bones need. It's not just calcium.
“They” whoever is creating these very misguided western medicine systems very well know all the things and ways that keep humans healthy. Then they corrupt everything from air quality to the very soils micro biome, the water and the waterways… it’s all an on purpose circus and we all have to absolutely UNSUBSCRIBE from every aspect they and thriving upon while poisoning the human race and Earth. Even the actual vitamins now. The best vitamins companies were bought up by Nestle corporation. The CEO of Nestle said that he does not believe that people should have the right to water and they do not need water and drains lakes and water sources and sells plastic bottles of it. I’m sure there is fluoride added first to ensure proper toxic levels to destroy the brain and all organs. It is disturbing to understand our species is being attack as well as our home planet!!!!😮
UPDATE: Had my bone scan mid Oct. My numbers have slightly improved. Especially the hip! It's hard to rethink the way you eat, but after a few months, it becomes a normal routine. Stay away from most middle isle foods in the market (highly processed/salted foods - read the labels!)
What about research of research by doctor gregor from nutrition facts. He is not so impressed by k2. Most research about k2 is not correct schorsing him. I always take my d3 with k2 but big chance he is right
@@henk3202 many many studies you can view on pubmed show the effectiveness of K2, specifically with venous blockage issues. I’ve been taking it to help with arthritis and bone Spurs, to which it’s been the only helping supplement I’ve used.
@Henk * I highly doubt it! I wouldn't bet my life on him, not with the 30% reduction Calcium Heart Score I have achieved in 20 months. And I'll tell you what...I read of a man that completely irradicated his Calcium with K2-MK7 and his only concern was that people would not take enough! I took his advice, and I have been taking 2400mcg/day for the past 2 years with no issues. What K2-MK7 has done for my dental health is absolutely amazing. The source of which is responsible for many diseases. K2-MK7 gets rid of the bad oral bacteria. Dr Tomas Levy has proven that heart disease is sourced from dental hygiene. Any toxicity in the body eats up vitamin C. I am own high dose C at least 15 grams in divided doses/day. C and K2-MK7, along with D3, work synergisticly together. I couldn't be happier, priceless...
Great information! Thank you! I take D3 with K2. I make my own kimchi and I eat it or sour kraut with every one of my OMAD meals. Also, I've been eating LCHF keto for two years and learned how to fast. I'm 59 and I've lost over 155 lbs, I'm off my blood pressure meds, my osteoarthritis pain is pretty much non existent and my asthma is gone. The transformation has been profound. I'm so thankful to you for sharing your knowledge with us. I've learned so much and I feel better than I ever have. 😊🙏👍

Omg I’ve just been told after an ultrasound I have calcification in my abdominal aorta and scared the crap out of me . I’ve never taken vit c or d but have magnesium powder every night from about 6 yrs ago . All my levels were fine my gp said after blood tests so orange juice I found out have both c & d . But man I’m so worried about having a heart attack now having the calcification . Anyone have some advice please ?
Just became a patient of this extraordinary doctor. I was amazed at my first visit to find how he ties the entire body together. Although I have to do considerable traveling to his office in Florida, it is well worth it. He is my go to and is replacing all of my internal medicine doctors. What a great doctor!!!!!!
This happens mostly due to inorganically sourced calcium supplements. Notice, the same Doc didn't recommend stopping all foods rich in calcium. Except maybe dairy which has useless calcium and in fact casein leaches calcium. So it's inorganic and more than 1 gram as he said
No . These doctors are lying. This is all caused by dymorphic yeast. The plaque is dymorphic yeast waste( poo). It also causes tooth decay and plaque in your teeth. 24 /7 heartburn meds use azoles. Azoles are antifungals. Not proton pump inhibitors. Proton pumps are yeast buds putting of phytochemicals ( its waste, poo) and gasses, like making grain alcohol (phytochemicals, the acid of acid reflux) and baking bread. Bread rises from yeast waste. Yeast farts. Same thing as acid reflux/ GERD.
I bet he hasn't asked her to stop eating green leafy veg and other foods containing calcium (except dairy). It's not the calcium supplement, it's the quality and source of it. Same scientists tell us to have 1000mg calcium for male and 1200+ for females per day. Check your daily intake of food, this is very difficult to take unless one Supplements
@@ASMRyouVEGANyet Vegans have problems with getting enough B12 Everything is not so cut and dry! Moderation does mean something. You can eat too much or too little of many things and that would be considered a bad choice.
I do not use calcium supplements. But I do use a multivitamin and mineral, D3, K2 and a Magnesium and electrolyte liquid supplement. I follow a ketogenic lifestyle. I have gone from over 400 pounds and I am now 247 pounds. My goal weight is 180 pounds.
Lost a 100lbs myself to be at my correct weight, keep up the great work it's well worth it as you very well know. Consider high dose vitamin C. So many benefits like tighter skin, not to mention heart disease reversal. Dr Thomas Levy's book "Curing the Incurable"
Thank you so much for sharing this. I have been taking K2 for a couple of years now and just started with fermented foods. I have a high arterial calcium score and slightly high blood pressure. I have been an active athlete for decades and ate a low fat diet accordingly. I have also always had bad teeth - wondering about that correlation. Finally we are getting some brilliant and brave doctors willing to do the research and go against standard teachings. Thank you so much for these videos.
My calcium score 1257. Very high. I will be seeing a cardiologist soon have a appointment in a months time. My blood test and high blood pressure is in the normal range. M u cholesterol is normal and ldl and hdl are in the normal range. My A1C is 6.5. But I am worried about the high calcium score. Will k2 help me please advise
This is so good. I love listening to Dr. Jamnadas. He explains things so well. Most cardiologist doesn't understand this. I've been supplementing with D3/K2 for two years now. I discovered this on my own and now we see all this good content on it. I took an independent preventative test and received a high calcium score over 400. I called my niece, a nurse who is an expert on diets and natural treatments to reverse morbidity, especially with heart patients. I changed my diet immediately and started taking K2 from my own research. What Dr. Jamnadas says about food is spot on. I went to a cardiologist who said the calcium could be on my heart and not in my arteries. I've never had any heart issues before. I took a stress test and passed it no problem. I had already lowered my cholesterol 30 points with just diet by then (3 months). I already exercise in the gym 3 times a week including HIIT routines. I've never had any heart pains from my physical exercise. I elevate my heart to the 170s at times with no pain. So no further test have been conducted. The cardiologist flat out out told me I could not reverse the calcium accumulation (not in my arteries). That is a provable lie, and he never recommended K2. Who knows how many people these doctors are killing through willful ignorance. I told him heart disease ( I don't have it) and arterial calcification can be reversed and he said it couldn't. So folks, you have to do your own research and take your healthcare into your own hands. Unfortunately most doctors aren't that good and certainly won't help you stay healthy.
@victor4advice...My pcp said to take D3 she didn't mention to take K2 along with that. My sister is the one that told me I need to be taking K2 to help absorb D3.
When the video started, he said we are eating "low fat" diets. A few years ago USDA released a detailed report about food consumption in the US, population level. It revealed that fat consumption greatly increased in the US since 1970s and in fact accounts for the greatest increase in calories percentwise, much higher than the increase caused by increased sugar consumption. He is basically assuming that just because the advice was to eat low fat diet, that's what people are eating, without looking at the actual data about what people are actually eating. And then he takes hypotheses forward using that assumption. Not a very good sign of being educated enough to understand correlation. Smoking rates have been constantly increasing in many countries in the world while the official advice is to not smoke. When you have to study correlations, you will look at the actual amount of smoking in that society rather than assume that smoking is reducing because the advice is to not smoke.
Whenever I learn something that is naturally healthy and healing it's a blessing. I always laugh when I hear anyone say, "check with your physician." If you don't want to be made fun of, belittled and given a medicine cabinet full of harmful medications, you'll be wiser to do your research and keep it to yourself.
We’ll I agree with you for the most part, but some people who are on medication that they DO actually need, it’s not always safe to self subscribe? But, yes you should do research and listen to your own body. 😊
Finally a highly educated medical doctor who gets the correlation between proper supplementation and wholesome natural foods and disease. Could it be that most doctors are afraid to go down that investigative path because it is non-conventional or non-approved by a pharmaceutical-driven curriculum? This doctor has my attention.
OK, so my daughter came down with a clot and what eventually became a pulmonary embolism and thank God was treated in time in ER with blood thinner and now daily baby aspirin..what can she do to help her cardiovascular system now ? Or is there another way to supplement for the clotting ? Thank you for this important information !

@@bhojjadamotabanda If you are going by one study only, then your information may not necessarily be valid. Low fat diets have been pushed on people and have caused harm because they are not a normal and healthy diet. The low fat foods that people consume can be mostly processed foods - but as long as the label says “ low fat “, most people accept it. It is a matter of a healthy diet versus “ low fat ( processed foods ) “, foods from fast food restaurants, eating too many calories of any food. This is not as simplistic as the report you are citing makes out. You have to do an in depth study involving different outcomes. You would have to do a great deal of research on your own.
I have been studying the relationship between Physicians and Pharmaceutical Companies. There are Doctors who receive kick backs for prescribing certain drugs from certain Drug Companies. These doctors are individuals who have made a choice. Ask them if they make extra money on the drug they are prescribing you? You can ask. Ask them if they attend dinners and talks put on by that certain company? The medication may be fine for you, but you do have the right to check how your doctor is running the pharmacological section of his practice. And ask your Pharmacist about your drugs. He knows a lot more than your doctor. You don’t have to just refuse any drug for this reason. It may be a very good drug for your condition. But it would be to your advantage to have as much info as you can on your physician and his practice to determine if he is an ethical person. Many, many doctors do not engage in this type of practice. And some that do are excellent physicians. Just be aware.
🙌🏻 I love this gentleman!! My late mother was prescribed blood thinners when she was in her 60’s. She was told to avoid any vitamin K rich foods. Having a strong will and perseverance, she followed her doctor’s advice rigorously. Over the next years, she developed several diseases, which I am now convinced, were caused in part due to a vitamin K2 deficiency. In the course of 5 years, she suffered back, arm, and hip fracture (twice). She was also diagnosed with Lewy Body dementia. She passed away last summer, aged 76, from complications during her second hip replacement surgery. 😢 R.I.P. my sweet mom. 🙏🏻 Thank you, doctor Jamnadas, for sharing this precious knowledge and educating us, so that we can take control of our health. 🤲🏻
Is there any advice that you could give me my husband he has a blood clot in his left leg and they haven’t given him any medicine for it. He hast to have an ultrasound in 10 days. Is there anything we can do until then? 3:50
I was told to take calcium supplements but I refused. I told my doc I would rather get my calcium from food. So glad you did the research for all of us. Thank you doctor!
I'm glad that I've always been diligent about getting my calcium from food, including some plant foods. I remember hearing that calcium supplements just weren't as effective, so I guess I dodged an even bigger bullet by avoiding the supplements.
Real science matters, and the amount of science behind all this is amazing, and yet, very little movement within the medical community towards this data. Thank you Dr Pradip.
Functional medicine follows this type of care. A good functional doctor treats from the root cause. You won't find one in the main stream medical system. At least not an outspoken one... as they get their license stripped when they start talking sense... instead of supporting the system that keeps people sick. I like this doc too.
There's little interest in it because NO ONE'S MAKING MONEY OFF OF IT. This is Big Pharma's Nightmare. So the news goes on the back burners and eventually forgotten. I plan on spreading this video around until I lose friends doing so, because I am CONVINCED he has finally called out the Elephant In The Room, and we as patients would be foolish to ignore the evidence and become more proactive about our health. I have atherosclerosis and osteoporosis. My journey with K2/D3/Magnesium has just begun, but I am sure the outcome can prove to my benefit. I can't look at it like, Oh Too Little Too Late. To hell with that! I'm 73 and wish to see 100, so BRING IT ON, DOC.
Superb. Will be showing my wife this. She's a GP but in denial her training is based on outdated "science". Being a interventional cardiologist should hopefully help her wake up! Great content. Thank you 👍
We know that MDs have absolutely no respect for chiropractors even rolling their eyes at the mention of them. However, the first time I learned about this topic is from Dr. Eric Berg who had a thriving chiropractic practice but now spends his days doing extensive research. He published many videos on Vitamin D3 & K2 and Calcium (earliest video is 8 years old!!!) as well as osteoporosis, just pick your topic or supplement, vitamin; he also has videos of interviews he's done with medical doctors. Thanks Doc for making this video! It supports and gives even more credibility to Dr. Berg and his content! I love your videos too 😍
Thanks for mentioning Dr. Berg. It was his videos that turned me on to D3 &K2 and now this combination vitamin supplement is now even sold in the Walmart. Thanking these doctors for getting on the same page!
You should all check out Westin A Price and his book from the 1930s he covers a lot of this in regards to dentistry and health. The book is very interesting it’s called nutrition and degeneration
Thank you so much for highlight this, I was prescribed Bisphosphonates by my Doctor 10 years and refused to take them, after doing a small piece of research. I was lambasted by them for refusing the treatment. I am so glad I can share this video which explains the Correlation perfectly.
Big pharma CEOs are billionaires. They get all of our $$$$ from sending out their salesppl to push their pills on the patients--you & me. Simple as that. These drug company CEOs realize that many ppl put a lot of stock into ppl wearing white coats, like doctors. Always research before filling a prescription what the side effects are & just Google "adverse effects." It can be very educational. Many years ago, I was suffering from migraine-like headaches on a regular basis. Unable to stand a recent headache, I headed to my Urgent Care facility. There after telling that Doc what my history was, he took an X-ray (unnecessary X-ray) and gave me a sample of a drug he had on hand called Bextra. Fortunately, I would find myself the next day, still looking for relief and in another ER. The nurse took me in to see the doc, asked what drugs I was given so far. I pulled out the unused Bextra. She seemed concerned. She asked me who the doc was that gave it to me. She kept it. Later, I got home and Googled the drug. Talk about a close shave! Bextra was recalled and had numerous lawsuits files against it's use. Just because these ppl wear white coats doesn't mean much anymore to me. I do my research on everything now. It can't hurt.
I’m so glad I watched this video. My b/p has been extremely high. And I have 2 clogged arteries. I been taking calcium 600mg for years. I take vitamin D3, K2. I’m throwing the calcium pills out. I’m also on Praulent 150 every 2 weeks. Just made an appointment with a new cardiologist. Thank you Dr. for this valuable information.
@@frankenz66 I have been prescribed both, D2 and D3. I've taken more of D3. I do have a problem absorbing some things, so i needed to take the 50,000 IU every other day, for awhile to get my level up on my lab work.
@@poppylove3673 Yeah, I had similar problems. I started out with a 25ng/dl lab result and I tried that weekly 50k of D-2. Six months later lab result was 27ng/dl. I switched over to D-3 and it went to the 39 in a few months. Stayed on it, but ate higher amounts of fat and got away from carbohydrates, and levels jumped to 60. Testosterone jumped more than 600 ng/dl as well. Low fat was not good for my hormones and low cholesterol levels are not a promise of no heart or cardiovascular system issues. I had lower cholesterol, but hormone levels were suffering terribly. LDLs help deliver your hormones to every part of the body like boats carry goods to a destination. You are low on them you are low on distributed hormones which shuts their production down. D is a hormone.
I was dx with osteoporosis in 2015 by bone scan and MRI. 3 years ago I began taking k2 and mag+c, Two weeks ago I had a bone scan and it is NORMAL for the first time in 6 years. You can heal osteoporosis. He is speaking the truth.
I use a product called "Bone Aid" which contains Calcium + vitamin K2 and D3. This is an aid to prevent osteoporosis, after breaking my wrist (I'm 77yrs old).
I have calcinosis universalis. ( 20 years) I've always been told there's nothing they can do. I have been on coumadin for about 15 years! I recently started trying to get more vitamin K2+ D3 into my system and I stopped the Coumadin two weeks ago. Thank you so much for this information!
you should also look into nattokinase (also from fermented food with high levels of k2), but it's an enzyme that also dissolves fiber. Serrapeptatse, lumbrokinase, also are helpful. Doctors say that k2 cannot reverse what already happened, only prevent. But people taking the nattokinase, lumbrokinase enyzmes alongside k2 are reporting complete reversals in their calcium deposit levels in tissues. Also, the correct dosage for mk4 is 1g - 15g per day. Mk-7 is 100mcg, mk4 is over 1g. Most companies who make k2 have no idea that mk4 needs to be dosed high.
My husband has been on Coumadin for over 20 years and I am worried about his arteries after watching this. Have you had good results with trying to increase K2 and D3? Thank you for sharing.
If only all Doctors were like this. Not afraid to speak the truth and explain it in an easy to understand way. I can only imagine how many peoples lives could change for the better because of this information. Thank you !!!
Thank you so much! I recently took a ct scan and found that i had calification of my artery, I was having problems breathing if I took a few steps it felt like I ran a race. A few months prior the doctor told me my bones were weak so I decided to take calcium and D3. About three months in now I can barely walk. I’ve always been overweight so I didn’t think that was the cause. I reminded to what was new in my diet. The calcium supplement was it. I stopped taking it and started taking vitamin k2 mk7. I eat more probiotic healthy foods, kimchi, and I had recently fermented my own cabbage anyway it’s only been about 2 weeks and I can walk again like a normal person for about 2 blocks but I don’t feel like I’m dying. Now I come upon your video which is a great addition to the information I already found. Thank you!
I accidently fell into this while taking chemo. Suddenly my hypertension improved significantly. At the time friends were bringing me LOTS of eggs. Many were the good eggs. More eggs than I could eat. I hated wasting them, so I started scrambling 1 egg and 2 egg yokes nearly daily. I believe the increase in k2 helped the hypertension.
Eggs are the food of the Gods! We used to understand the healing powers of good cholesterol. 100 years ago, they used to feed severe burn victims tons of eggs to help their body heal.

@Ladynipchick2 I think dark patches usually found innerside of joints like under arm, inner elbow can a sign of pre-diabetes which is linked with hypertension. If you find dark patches its a good idea to get yourself checked out and start regularly monitoring your blood pressure at home and to clean up your daily diet. You can dismis it but it only takes 1 small clot to kill you. If you have the patches, plus xanthelasma, plus Frank's sign then you really need to get yourself on a healthy diet asap
I know! I've had so many health issues and thing is they can't even find out half the time what is wrong with me....Doesn't matter if it's digestive, neuro, muscular. harder heart beats at times of resting you name it They don't seem to have a clue on what to do with me as tests show nothing! I have a gallstone and that is all they've ever found except I was on the low side with Vit D but when you are in enough pain you can't work Something should be found! It's discouraging I just try different natural things trying to get better despite my whole system seems out of whack!
As a person with an applied Chemistry degree, I fully understand what this good Doctor is talking about. It makes perfect sense to talk about the reactions, like carboxylation going on in the Body. I too have also posed the same questions as I have heart disease in the family. Thank you for explaining it in a way that’s easy to understand.😊
You have to have at least one or two years of Anatomy and physiology of the human body besides Chemistry. Studies in Europe and other parts of the world have a better curriculum than here in the USA in that respect. Also, you have to take into account that the USA "used to get" better immigration than now, and as such education has deteriorated a lot.
Thank you! I've been watching you for 6 months and I am not diabetic anymore....to day my test is 85. I was diagnosed in 2012 with it. Thank you for all your videos!! I call you the honest Dr.
Dr. I am an engineer aged 58 yrs with a diabetic for 21 yrs and on insulin for last 15 yrs + a cardiac patient and on Dialysis for last 13 months and survived COVID-19 hospitalisation. Your video has educated me of the Vitamin K2 + D3 . I am an engineer by profession but your video has explained a lot. Thank you doctor for getting educated people like me
Please watch Dr David Unwin on youtube too. He's a practicing GP in the north of England. His information about the high fat/low carb diet got my Type II insulin dependant (12 years) partner off insulin injections completely, and it only took 3 weeks. He also lost weight without trying, then had to stop one of his BP meds as they were becoming too effective as his BP also dropped. Four years on, he still doesn't need those BP meds or insulin.
You need to take renal tonic suppllement -no Vitamin will do that . Western medicine does not have that strategy. It almost like injecting u new stem cell. This is the cheapest most effective way to prevent neuropathy & blindness. Plus you get alot more energy. I let you do your research.
Somebody put this physician on TV! It is so refreshing to hear a medical doctor speak the truth about the root causes of some of our most dreaded ailments. I have been taking K2 with a D3 supplement for several years now with great effect.
YESSSS, this Definitely Needs to be known , I'm new here , This Dr just happened to pop up while scrolling, So Grateful for this Dr. Blessings to Everyone 💯
TV? That will never happen when everything is "Brought to you by Pfizer". Quit wasting your time and life allowing TV to fill your mind with deadly misinformation.
The board won’t allow it. They report to the investors who most likely all have pharmaceutical investments in portfolio. They are afraid this knowledge will threaten the FDA drug market. It’s stupid though, because there’s a place for both! One doesn’t have to be anti-modern pharma just because you ALSO promote health by teaching disease *prevention* and how to get to root causes of disease
Wow. This could explain the recent discovery of a blockage in my Left Anterior Descending artery! Have been on Xarelto for 7 years and thought K2 was not allowed. (I was told that by two physicians) About 3 months ago I finally read that K2 is not contraindicated with Xarelto. I added 200 mcg daily along with 5000 Vit. D3. I also had been taking Calcium supplements due to osteopenia. I stopped the calcium about 6 months ago because I had a “nagging” in my head about maybe it could be harmful. Fingers crossed that the addition of K2 mitigates the blockage expansion. Thank you!
I have 4 blockages including a moderate one on my LAD. Just been diagnosed in the last 6 weeks. I am considering K2 and D3 but am worried about it because we want to stabilise/calsidy the plaque inside and I’m concerned this may interfere with this. I’m on the easelsyn diet and have dropped my LDL from 3.3 to 1.6 in a month. There is some suggestion this may actually help reverse disease slightly. How are you getting on ?
My mother had osteoporosis! But she was overweight, diabetic, totally inactive. She couldn't get up to walk to the kitchen for another bag of chips! Eventually fell down and broke her arm at 65! It's very sad watching loved ones do this to themselves. I'm now 62 and have no osteoporosis. But I lift light weights 3 times a week and I'm active, doing chores and working daily!
I did a calcium CT scan which cost $70 no insurance! Best money I’ve spent! I had no calcium build up but it did find a small sliding hiatal hernia! I started K2 last year and within weeks my vitD increased, so it helps with absorption!! Very interesting thank you so much !!
I have been fasting each day from 12-14 hours a day because of this one man. Been at it for about 2 months now- it has started to become a new way of thinking. Even cut out most of the processed foods. I trust what he says as truth. Thank you Dr. Jamnadas for sharing with us your knowledge- some of us are listening out here.
I’ve been skipping breakfast for 3 years and have lost 50lbs. Now within healthy BMI and feeling so much better. Started k2 supplements along with my D3 about a year ago as I’ve moved to much lower fat intake.
If Dr.Pradeep has a health bootcamp where people can learn to live a healthy life and such science, I'm sure it will be fully booked and this knowledge would spread much faster saving thousands of lives. This doctor is a hero.
They way you explain the biomechanics and holistic processes, their interplay, and the levers we can push/pull has quite literally changed my life. Fasting for Survival was excellent, and this explanation of K2 is fascinating. K2 -> better bones -> better immune health. Mind blown...
I asked my wife's doctor about this the other day and he pretty much told me it wasn't necessary to take. I'm not a doctor but I have done a little research on this because I was diagnosed with a Vitamin D deficiency. So doing some research on boosting my D levels, I learned that you need Vitamin K2Mk7 as well to basically get the calcium to the bones and NOT have it accumulate in the arteries. THANK YOU for this video as it reaffirms what I recently learned. Why don't more doctors know about this??? I LOVE the head scarf by the way:)
Because there is no money to be made by teaching it to them. Research is funded by grants and no one will ever fund anything that will lower their profit, which is why no doctor forged in schools will ever recommend you anything that can be supplemented naturally. Where is the profit after he recommends you to eat more fermented food? Nowhere. This is the sad state of medicine nowadays, it has become a business more than anything else and the only good doctors are those who pushed through the quagmire on their own because of their conscience.
I just found this channel. I have no health problems but I enjoy listening to this man. He is highly intelligent and has a passion for spreading truth. A plethora of knowledge that is somewhat going untouched. People would rather listen to Dr. Oz apparently
Thank you for sharing this information! I am a yoga therapist and functional health coach specializing in bone health. I run functional labs to help my clients get to the root causes of their bone loss and I have noticed that most of the women that come to me are on calcium supplements and vitamin D yet not vitamin K. I run hair mineral tests and I find high calcium levels in the soft tissue. Also, the population I work with has a lower-fat diet and this is having an effect on the digestion and absorption of vitamin D and vitamin K. Keep sharing your information and your experience over the years and the correlation of current research.
This info on k2 keeps coming back to me over and over and over, to the point I think God is really trying to get my attention with it. I have 2 friends I needed to share this with…thanks so so much for this!
This is one of the few doctors on UA-cam who is animated when he speaks. The way he speaks and uses hand gestures holds my attention. Plus, the information is important. I am going to start taking K2.
Free radical calcium is a far greater problem than realized by the medical field! Not being treated as a cardiac problem-causing atherosclerosis with calcium plaques. I noticed this as nurse years ago but was blown off by the doctors I was in practice with. Thank you for your understanding of this problem! K2 the answer?
I have that and doctor has given me losartan, and but I think mine was because we did seed oils and margarine,,for yes not now as I know it rips scars you're veins but bit late have read we replace every 7 hrs hope that's true
Stargalaxy: I am convinced that unlike Dr.Jamnadas, many doctors are more concerned with money from the insurance companies , remember they have to repay for their education and many have a family, so they are not concerned about our health. Dr. Jamnadas is a gife from My God. May he continue to be blessed and highly favored.
People will say it's money. And it might be in some cases. But I happen to think most doctors didn't get into their fields to harm patients. So I believe it is down to ignorance. And a big part of that ignorance is that leading medical organizations such as the AMA etc, are the ones that set the agendas and recommendations for doctors. Many doctors are quite busy, and so they rely heavily on the information from these medical bodies and journals to guide them. They might not have the time or desire to chase down this information themselves. As well, if they were to "go off the plantation" themselves instead of following what the leading medical licensing boards, journals, etc tell them is "teh science and recommended" items... they can leave themselves wide open for lawsuits. So they don't feel confident enough to do that, and instead fall back on what they're told. That's why many of them truly don't know about chemical, hormonal, or natural connections surrounding health issues. I've had good doctors of mine, literally tell me to "stop talking. don't tell me what you are doing" when I was able to actually drop a significant amount of weight, improve many blood markers, and be generally healthier than before by doing low-carb/keto and fasting. I was surprised because I thought they'd surely want to know what was working, so they could consider it for other patients in the same boat. They KNOW whatever it is I've done IS working, but they are unwilling to acknowledge it because then they'd have to admit what they are being commanded to prescribe is a farce. And most doctors simply don't want to be put in the position of having their career ruined, licenses revoked, if they step out of line with what their governing bodies tell them to do. It's a mess that starts from the top.
He does not cite one randomized controlled trial to support his claims. It has nothing to do with money, cardiologists don't make money by prescribing you medicine.
There are many conditions we, as a civilization, are treating improperly. High blood pressure, cardiac disease, cancer, and many others that with good, sound research and better awareness brought forth by physicians, like you Doctor, who really are following their instincts and doing more research before just prescribing the commonly accepted meds. Thank you for this accurate and enlightening episode, I hope more doctors listen to you, you’re on the right track!
However those who hold the purse rule the world and much of the good sound science is not released because there is no profit to be made from it.The food guides taught to students in schools are funded by the grain industry and promote the over consumption of grains. Many departments of science have been bought by the drug companies that want to sell drugs.
I was lucky to have a forward thinking family doc who diagnosed me with pre- diabetes. He put me on a keto diet and completely reversed it and cured a ton of other ailments. 4 years in and loving life. What I’m getting at is these physicians are not afraid to tell drug companies to go find another victim, you’re not getting this patient today.
@@amefibrasil6058 I was on the vegan diet and got sick as a dog because I had Celiac, the most common disease in the US and UK. Plant based diet that uses a lot of wheat, rye and barley is deadly to a person with this disease. It is also deadly to people who have Pernicious Anemia. You should always be tested for these two diseases if you plan to eat that way.
My D level was chronically low, 13-18 over a decade, and despite taking a D Rx (50k once a week) for years. I read about K helping D last year, think it was from Dr. Zelenko's site. I started taking K2 and two weeks later I had a check up. My D level went up to 39 in those two weeks! Yes, it works.
yeah same here. found out my levels were at 15 in nov of 2019. started D3+K2. started with 1k mg then 2k and jumped to 5k a day when covid hit in march 2020. sometimes I did 10k per day. by august I was up to 53 and 59 by nov of 2020. by nov of 2021 I was 122 lol. I felt fine but my Dr was like ur levels are too high. cut back for a while. I did and 3 months later in 2022 caught covid. I was around sick people the whole time previously and never caught anything. I'm following my intuition and listening to my body. I've done tons of research over the last 2 years and have learned even more than I did before. I was already plant based but couldn't figure out how I got deficient in D. spent lots of time outside so my D receptors must be damaged. the only "meat" I ate was salt water fish and salmon. some chicken and organ meats. but no beef, pork and dairy.
Follow up: D level is holding, measured 42 a couple weeks ago. Not sure why the prescription is once a week, but it's covered by my insurance 100%, so saves me a little money.
@@fuzzipariah Thanks, I was wondering because it has been proven less effective if the dose is taken all at once - once a week. I guess you can't argue with success, but studies I viewed clearly pointed towards regular intake versus taking all at once.
I like him, but unfortunately, like 90+ % of people in this space, they do Not end with simple straight forward advice. More health educated people should end their presentations with 2 minutes of something like: "In my opinion, a deficiency of (fill in the blank, in this case K2) should be addressed by adding (fill in the blank) to your diet." ...and list *Real foods* we can buy in grocery stores, e.g. spinach? arugula? ...as well as suggesting the "dos and don'ts* in preparing them so as not to destroy their benefits, e.g. don't microwave or boil, instead bake, or whatever. 🙏🏽
@Good Earth If that were so, you'd think I would have developed clots taking 2400mcg of K2-MK7 for the past 2 years, 10 times more than the average dose. I had an Echo scan of my heart for a Watchman that would block the flow of blood into the appendage that can pool blood forming clots, and no clots were seen in the appendage. Heart disease reversed 30%.
@@delg1211 Do you think reversing heart disease is a simple thing? If so Cardiologists wouldn't be telling you it can't be done! Wish I could use a few words to save thousands of people 😪 reversing my heart disease.
@MindHeartBodySoul Look at you! blood work, numbers good what's to ask. But a person 100lbs over weight, there's a lot to talk about, providing the GP has the time.
Thank you so much for this information. I was wondering why my heart started hurting right after I took a calcium supplement. Months would pass and I would take the calcium supplement again because they say you should take calcium in your 50's. But again, right after I took it my heart would hurt again. You have made it so clear as to why it was hurting. I would ask my doctors if they thought it was ok to take calcium supplement and they all said that there shouldn't e any reason not to. You are saving lives. You are so appreciated, thank you so much for putting this out there .
So thankful doctors like you can be found on the Internet! I'm 65 years old and my experience with HMO and PPO doctors has been awful. I am fortunate to have the time and intelligence to do my own research on cancer and other illnesses I've had since the traditional doctors seem to just push drugs and provide little to no education on diet and nutrition and supplements or anything homeopathic. Not to mention some get irate when you question their treatment plans. I was really surprised at how little they knew in-depth about various treatments. They just go with the so called 'gold standards' which in many cases is not gold except for costs and pharma sales (e.g. chemo). I actually dug into my biopsy results and discovered that they are not a 100% conclusion but a probability rating. No doctor ever told me that!
USA ....GET THE MONEY...doctors lawyers car makers.....illegal drug dealers are HONEST about it. SOME DOCTORS ARE NOT HONEST .....BUT immoral and life threatening doing MUCH HARM.
I've been told at all of my mammograms that I have dense breast tissue. No one ever told me, "and that makes the mammogram less useful and you should add another screening method." (Dr Google told me that)
Today for the first time I came across this knowledgeable physician at the UA-cam who looks body as whole in relation to specific coronary disease. What a knowledge and experience he has! Thank you Dr for sharing!
I am so glad to have come across your video today.I was told to take calcium and D3. I have osteoarthritis and DDD .In about 3months of doing this I was having chest pains severe couldn’t breath , stopped calcium and the severe pains stopped .
OMG this is why my HDL is elevated my cholesterol has always been good because I eat healthy. I couldn’t understand the elevation until now I started taken calcium supplements went to the doctor and now its high. I will discontinue and take another test in a month. I am so glad I came across this video….thank you so much.
WOW!! I have been dealing with high blood pressure (on 4 different medications) for years and I STILL can't get my blood pressure down! Even on the meds, I'm sometimes running at 160/110!! I honestly feel like one of the missing ingredients here is D3 and K2...on a regular basis. I DO take D3 and K2 occasionally, but haven't been consistent. I'm starting TODAY! Thank you for the great video!
My father had a problem like that, his was up to 210/110...they gave him the usual BP drugs and it only moved it a few points...but had bad side effects...so he changed his diet totally (no processed foods) then he lost 3 stone in weight. Despite him walking over 20000 steps a day he started exercise, half an hour every day AND half an hour every day walking up and down stairs...it took 3 months and it's down to on a good day 120/80 and sometimes 130/90....no "meds"
@@MrJohnnyseven Thars great! My number are still REALLY high even with the meds. This is day 6 of dropping caffeine, as well as Keto and IM. I started taking heavy D3/K2 (10,000 IU D3, 240mg K2) daily… But last time I gave blood (I have to bloodlet due to iron overload), my blood was extremely dark, and thick as molasses, so I pulled back on that. I wish I lived in Florida because I know this Doctor could help me. They don’t deal with patients virtually, I called the office.
K2 (mk4) only stays in the body for hours, and (mk7) lasts days. So, it is something that should be taken regularly depending of course on personal details.
Doctors happened to find some calcification in my vessels during a chest CT for another issue. After some research I found information on K2-MK7 and started adding that to my supplement regimen with vitamin D. As a female getting "up there in age" I've fallen victim to the adage that you need high levels of calcium to prevent osteoporosis. Thank you for the warning to be wary. Excellent information presented very clearly. You're a blessing.
@emiliestark5673 Hi Doc. Over a year ago, I had a cardiac calcium index Score CT and hit the the 90th percentile for calcification. I did research into this and started D3, K2, Mg supplementation to run an experiment to see if I can 'uncalcify' my CAs. I can't find any literature supporting my experiment. Interested if this is possible.
@@nomorenews 52 now, but 47 at time of test. Can't find the actual score (need to track it down) but my med notes say I was in 90th percentile for age.
A very learned orthopedist told me to take D3 and vitamin K 2-mk7 and my bones would recalcify on their own and guess what, it worked. My bone density score went up from osteoporosis in the hip to normal bone density in two years. It pulled calcium out of my vascular system and put it back in my bones. I have a mammal meat allergy from Chronic Lyme disease. I eat lots of poultry and I love pickled beets, kimchi. I eat eggs. I have microclotting from long COVID, so I take one nattokinase a day. I cannot eat fermented soy, wish I could, but the taste and smell is too much for me. I am 78 and EVERYTHING YOU ARE SAYING IS ON THE MONEY. My cardiologist wants me to take a baby aspirin a day. She is uninformed about COVID microclotting. Threw a clot in February 2022 and survived. Everytime I go to see her I have peer reviewed research papers in hand. Not sure she reads them, but I am trying to inform her. Keep up the good work, you are saving lives!
The best way to take K2 isn’t through supplements. It’s through raw grass fed butter, cod liver oil, beef liver, eggs and sauerkraut. But if it’s sauerkraut still eat it with butter you need the fat. I’d take a spoonful of cod liver oil and a spoon full of butter fat before my first meal everyday.
Dr. Jamdas, thank you so much for an amazing explanation. I grew up with fermented cabbage, apples, other fremented veggies and fruits. They use to be a huge part of Eastern European diet because there was not any green veggies and fruits during winter time. Fermented cabbage is one the main foods there. Now I eat way less Fermented foods. I need to go back. Also Fermented food is rich in bacteria and vitamin C.
@Natasha Roach ua-cam.com/video/7X7SctsMx3A/v-deo.html the easiest explanation. Also, I ferment cabbage without salt in milk whey from the farmers cheese that I make.
I have been taking a D3 and K2 supplement, plus I use Magnesium to alleviate anxiety and it is all working for me. Thank you for going beyond the pharmaceuticals. I am only 57, but had a preeclampsia geriatric pregnancy that also involved gestational diabetes. Fast forward and I have developed Type 2 diabetes, although being a healthy weight, and high blood pressure. I think some of it came from sitting around a lot while taking care of an elderly ill parent. There was a lot of "Let's watch Matlock" and I was there to take care and keep company. That was my love and my duty. But I am still young and looking for answers to help me. I have been doing strength training as well.
Type 2 can usually be reversed within weeks of eating a healthy diet. Follow a clean keto diet consisting of healthy meat, low glycemic veggies, and healthy fats like avocados. Nothing processed. No grains. No fruit except lemons or limes. Try to avoid dairy.
Thank you for this very important information. Could you also please speak on the statin drugs. I had a CABG in 2000. I was immediately put on Simvastatin and took it up until about 2 yrs ago. I began hearing all sorts of bad things about statins and did my own research. At my last visit with my cardiologist, he was going over my chart and noticed I hadn't called for a refill in a long time. He wasn't pleased, so he wrote a refill. I took them for about a week and stopped again. I think big pharma plays far too big a role in all of the garbage we're written prescriptions for.
Big pharma runs the medical industry. I too was placed on a Statin, Rosuvastatin. I did some research and found that the side effects certainly outweigh the benefit. My A1C also jumped from 5.9 to 6.8. I then read that Statins can cause type 2 Diabetes. I won't go into detail here on this platform but I tell you, the Pharma industry makes over a Trillion Dollars a year to keep us with the illusion that these drugs will make us better but it does just the opposite. I watched my Mother become a drug store, 21 meds before she past. That is not gonna be me.
@@musicisme3 I KNEW there was a reason that I stopped taking them! I had forgotten about diabetes! Guess what? I was diagnosed with it about 12 years ago. I just couldn't believe it! I have had muscle pain every day since, but they weren't 'too' concerned about it and that was one of the big things to watch out for! I'm a retired nurse and I just feel stupid for taking them so long! I don't even doubt that it damaged my joints too. As a side note, this time last year I started on the keto diet, quickly lost 20 lbs and ALL of my labs were great! 'With the stupid 'pandemic' and after being at home so much, I got bored and ended up in my old ways. After' Christmas I'm starting back on it. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!🎄
I am so happy that I stumbled on this video and will watch other videos. I recently had a cardio issue, but I had never had any before. I had an angiogram, no blockage, was tols that my heart and arteries, valves, all looked good. EKG was good, chest X-Ray was good, blood work was good with the exception of the enzymes for the heart. Not happy with the cardiologist who treated me and placed me on a ton of meds that had me feeling worse than when I went into the hospital. This is valuable information. Thank you, Doctor. I'm passing it along!!!
I have heart issues too (flutter palpitations) but all tests say my ticker is great. My best guess is that I don't balance my electrolytes well. Tracked my food intake with Cronometer and discovered how little potassium and calcium I consume. Gut issues don't allow me to eat fiber, so I eat meat, animal fat, egg yolks, butter. I don't want to take calcium supplements, but after taking Mag and Potassium, it wasn't until I added calcium that my nightly leg and toe cramps ceased! So I take K2MK7 with the Ca and D3. Not everyone gets calcium in their diets.
I do remember back in the early 1980s I was about 10-11 years old. I remember low far, no fat , slim fast, low fat I don't remember hearing about high fructose corn syrup. I was dieting back when I was 11 and ill tell you what clean keto and IF has changed my life I have never felt healthier. Thank you very much for explaining this in such detail. I first learned about this from Dr. Berg on UA-cam. When I mention K2 to my physicians, they look at me like a deer in headlights. I have known this information for years. Calcium supplements are not good for you. I don’t know how long ago your Mom was put on Calcium Supplements. Sounds like a doctor not keeping up with current info. I doubt anyone is making a fortune on calcium supplements.
Even aspirin has risks.... For example, it was determined that a daily aspirin increases the risk of Macular Degeneration. In addition, research showed that a "daily aspirin regimen" was ineffective at preventing heart attack as originally thought. Has the medical guidance changed? no... Have they updated the aspirin bottle to say Risks include increased chance of MACD? no... Is there still a Billion dollar "daily aspirin" profitable business that cares not what the science says that runs commercials "Talk to your Dr. about a daily aspirin"... Those commercials are as much aimed at Dr's subliminal minds as it is yours... (no, Dr., you didn't see any research that shows that not only is a daily aspirin regimen ineffective at preventing heart disease, but it will likely cause Macular Degeneration to the prescribed cohort.) This is a kind of medical propaganda for profit, and it usually does not have your best interest in mind.

Crazy thing is this is not new! Westin price discovered this in the 1930s but it’s been suppressed. Eat lots of grass fed raw butter, beef liver, and eggs. All the things they told us will give us heart disease because of cholesterol (dietary cholesterol is not the cause of heart attacks). People go crazy when they see me eating beef and butter daily.

It's a tragedy that so many prescription medications given to people with heart disease, high blood pressure, etc., actually deplete vital nutrients that would go towards helping heal or prevent those diseases in the first place. Gotta wonder if it's intentional.
It IS intentional and the worst part is that they create the illusion of being the solution when the truth is they are part of the problem and so are all the people that are making them filthy rich via long term follow up visits when they don't even do their job. They say "Let's keep an eye on it" which is code for lazy apathetic doctors. They are fake healers and the epitome of fraudulent
or misguided due to real lack of of nutritional knowledge... for years and possibly still going on today Drs often know little about nutrition because it isnt taught intensely enough in med school .,

I find iimyself wondering if the high dose of calcium I have taken for the past 20 years is partially responsible for the atherosclerosis seen in my CAC test.
we have to take responsibility
If you want k2-mk7 dosage tests check pupmed for Japanese natto trials, they have been at it for a very long time and their public research is credible compared to the west. I eat 10g or so natto a day for about a year now (as cheungukyang which is awesome in savory sauces) which corresponds to about 70mcg k2-mk7 but according to the Japanese it is hard to find adverse effects at far higher doses. My BP is 18 points improved in a year and finger/toe and knee joint pain is completely gone and backpain so much better.
How is your k2 adventure going for you?
We have to become our own doctors this days
Excellent comments you are very well informed and I agree 100%. Sadly doctors are clueless for the most part

An old Doctor told my Mom 25 years ago to stop taking calcium because nobody knows where the Calcium exactly is getting deposited. He was right on !
@slomo7118 y
Does K2 increase blood pressure
Exactly

Precisely!

Always research before filling a prescription what the side effects are & just Google "adverse effects."
It can be very educational.

I had a stroke in 2017 and had dark patches on my legs till date. This video clarifies why I had a stroke. Thank you for the good work you are doing. May God bless you.
What did the dark patches have to do with your stroke? 🤔
Love this Doc....he explains everything so well, that it makes you more knowledgeable on these topics than most physicians.

Excellent work, Doc!! This is the kind of content people need to rebuild their trust in the medical system. Bravo, Sir. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Grateful yes. Rebuilding trust, not so much.
Parathyroid glands are regulators for calcium in blood
Yes!
I like what you've said here.
I’m on a calcium channel blocker with a beta blocker for blood pressure I don’t fully understand how they work .Are they bad?
Thank you! I've been watching you for 6 months and I am not diabetic anymore....to day my test is 85. I was diagnosed in 2012 with it. Thank you for all your videos!! I call you the honest Dr.
How did you do it?!
Thank you doctor for getting educated people like me
Dr. Eric Berg on UA-cam will get you up and healing also.
@John Gallagher the man is very sick.... why would you even make such a comment?
Please watch Dr David Unwin on youtube too. He's a practicing GP in the north of England. His information about the high fat/low carb diet got my Type II insulin dependant (12 years) partner off insulin injections completely, and it only took 3 weeks. He also lost weight without trying, then had to stop one of his BP meds as they were becoming too effective as his BP also dropped. Four years on, he still doesn't need those BP meds or insulin.
You need to Follow Dr. Alan Mandell..he's super informative too
You need to take renal tonic suppllement -no Vitamin will do that . Western medicine does not have that strategy. It almost like injecting u new stem cell. This is the cheapest most effective way to prevent neuropathy & blindness. Plus you get alot more energy. I let you do your research.
Outstanding presentation, very clear and concise. This doctor is a real doctor and a credit to his profession.
Somebody put this physician on TV! It is so refreshing to hear a medical doctor speak the truth about the root causes of some of our most dreaded ailments. I have been taking K2 with a D3 supplement for several years now with great effect.
Big Pharma won't allow it

IN (15 minutes) video I learned so much out of you than most of the doctors in my lifetime thank you so much. Brave great job🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍
Try going to a 22/2 intermittent fasting schedule and watch the changes happen.
Dr. Sebi told us years ago to fast. They called him an idiot. But I'm glad that more People are speaking up.
I had 4 bypass 3 years ago, I do eat lots of fermented food but certainly not enough !! Going NOW to buy some K2.
Brilliant video, thank you sir
That's a surgical cap, lol.
They don’t teach nutrition in medical school. Check consumer labs, it’s reasonable and they’re like consumer reports for vitamins and supplements.

Supplements with both mk7 and mk4 are a bit better. Mk7 is taken up and used up right away while mk4 gets picked up at a slower rate.

Free radical calcium is a far greater problem than realized by the medical field! Not being treated as a cardiac problem-causing atherosclerosis with calcium plaques. Why the heck can't more cardiologists be like this guy? All they're concerned about is prescribing meds.
Money money money
@@drb4074well said!!
Diabetes and CVD, both improve adopting a restrict plant based diet! Few doctors talk about it with their patients!
They don't make money if you don't take drugs, and many people don't want to make the changes they need. They want a pill, not a treadmill. ;)
How much K2 did you take?
yeah same here. found out my levels were at 15 in nov of 2019. started D3+K2. started with 1k mg then 2k and jumped to 5k a day when covid hit in march 2020. sometimes I did 10k per day. by august I was up to 53 and 59 by nov of 2020. by nov of 2021 I was 122 lol.
Have to wonder why the vitamin D was taken once a week. How about 1/7th or so once per day?
Follow up: D level is holding, measured 42 a couple weeks ago.
Not sure why the prescription is once a week, but it's covered by my insurance 100%, so saves me a little money.
@@fuzzipariah Thanks, I was wondering because it has been proven less effective if the dose is taken all at once - once a week. I guess you can't argue with success, but studies I viewed clearly pointed towards regular intake versus taking all at once.

Finally, an MD who talks about food. I am an RD and extensively study vitamins. Thank you, Sir.
I like him, but unfortunately, like 90+ % of people in this space, they do Not end with simple straight forward advice. More health educated people should end their presentations with 2 minutes of something like:
"In my opinion, a deficiency of (fill in the blank, in this case K2) should be addressed by adding (fill in the blank) to your diet."
...and list *Real foods* we can buy in grocery stores, e.g. spinach? arugula? ...as well as suggesting the "dos and don'ts* in preparing them so as not to destroy their benefits, e.g. don't microwave or boil, instead bake, or whatever. 🙏🏽
@Good Earth If that were so, you'd think I would have developed clots taking 2400mcg of K2-MK7 for the past 2 years, 10 times more than the average dose.

But fermented foods like sauerkraut have a lot of sodium. I avoid them for that reason.

Hello, what kind of magnesium?
I hope you've adopted a ketogenic diet as well. I reversed my Type2.

Why on earth did the doctor perform an angiogram? I thought that was only for suspected blocked arteries.
I listen to videos such as these and I've learned the truth I'll be 50 in about a week. I'm so glad I fixed my adrenals to help during perimenapause and anyone that reads this please do your research on perimenapause , its more than stopping your period watch Dr berg and wonderful men such as this Dr
Exactly what was happening to me for years.after taking vitamin K my heavy breathing stop,my gum problems, my blood pressure normalized like when I was 20 years old.
Such a great DR.
How much k2 did u take?
Breathing got easier!? No chest pressure or muscle exhaustion?
How's your calcium score, did it go down?
Thank you very much for explaining this in such detail. I first learned about this from Dr. Berg on UA-cam. When I mention K2 to my physicians, they look at me like a deer in headlights. I had a stent install because of a heart arterial blockage. If I had known about this 10 years earlier, I never would have had a blockage. Much appreciated.
Phony Chiropractor!
@@woodsonjohnson5106 If you had any common sense and actually watched Dr. Berg, you might learn something

@@woodsonjohnson5106 Listening to that "phony chiropractor" led my husband to completely reverse his fatty liver disease in a few months. His genuine GI doctor knew nothing about reversing fatty liver disease.
@@woodsonjohnson5106 I watched Dr Berg and I gained so much weight. Still struggling to remove the weight I gained.
Wow, a real doctor!!! I hope UA-cam won’t censor him.
Everything you explained makes so much sense!! I had a terrible accident that broke 16 bones from my clavicle all the way down to my heels and toes, so I have so much metal and plates and screws in both my legs, ankles and feet, I'm so stiff. My bones have taken such a bit, so I appreciate this video so much!!! Just got a bottle of K2😊
Horsetail herb is also good for bones. Hope you're feeling better. 🤗
@@noeldeal8087 I did not know that!! I have a health food store about a mile from the house, so I'll give that a go, for sure! Thanks!

I remember vitaminC also is good for bones

He’s on to something
My mother was diagnosed with osteoporosis. She was prescribed high doses of calcium supplements. Her diet was healthy, lots of nutrition and soups. She put off having a shot of Prolia for two years. One Friday she decided to get it at noon. At midnight she woke with pain in her arm, 4:30 am the next day she was having a heart attack. It was an uphill battle for 4 more years. I would like to hear more on this please.
Hypocalcemia cause not only heart failure, but also elevating cardiac enzyme and ST segment changes in ECG which mimics with acute myocardial infarction.

You, was what was missing in how I deal with low diebetes and a heart attack. I am doing quite well now and exercise A LOT. Biking mostly. A lowly 3 speed bike that helps me beat my problems. It is my best friend, and costs little ...
❤️This is such an interesting time in medicine, nutrition and supplementation. It seems like the smartest physicians and diving deep into all factors and open to all our civilization has learned and has to offer. It’s about damn time…THANK YOU❣️❤️‼️
Because of a stent placement, I have to be on a blood thinner for 1 year (9 more months). How much K2 should I take?
Crazy thing is this is not new! Westin price discovered this in the 1930s but it’s been suppressed. Eat lots of grass fed raw butter, beef liver, and eggs. All the things they told us will give us heart disease because of cholesterol (dietary cholesterol is not the cause of heart attacks). People go crazy when they see me eating beef and butter daily.
@@nickfarrell429 right on…thousands of years of proven treatments are finally getting recognized by the arrogance of western medicine…
@@nickfarrell429 It's great that you have the money to eat so well.
@@cbryce9243 most of what I eat isn’t expensive especially compared to when I used to eat out a lot. Ribeyes are not cheap but I also eat lots of ground beef and eggs. Even grass fed ground beef isn’t bad. Plus you add in the fact that fasting and eating one to two meals a day is less than 3-5 meals with snacks many Americans eat.
Business so it's intentional
See Dr Aseem Malhotra on the Covid vax and the profit motive of not just Pharma but the academic institutions, regulators, and journals.
or misguided due to real lack of of nutritional knowledge... for years and possibly still going on today Drs often know little about nutrition
because it isnt taught intensely enough in med school .,
Not intentional, just lack of knowledge.
There now all in one place! I have done copious research on vitamin and mineral intake, the relevance of fats etc but never, until this video, have I heard such astute delivery full stop! Sharing to all contacts. Thank you Dr!

I’m so glad I found this. I have kidney disease, osteoporosis, and hyperparathyroidism. They’ve had me on calcium, D3 & I added k2m7. I’m going to try magnesium glycinate & stop calcium.

Years ago when I started taking D3 I discovered K2 there was not a good recommended dosage back then just suggestions. Glad I discovered this and appreciate your expert validation.
Wow, thank you for your information, I'm 70 and have been taking calcium supplements since I was 24. Thank you Dr. for helping to save my life.
Your advice to limit any processed food to no more than 5 gms of added sugars has brought down my A1-C to normal levels!! Thanks!! I appreciate your generosity with your teaching.

Be very careful with K2. I started taking K2 and within a few days I developed a 3"x1" clot in my left quadriceps. At first I thought it was a varicose vein but then suspected it was the K2. After stopping the K2 the clot dissipated over the next week. I decided to try with K2 again and another clot formed like before. Once again stopped the K2 and the clot dissipated. I'll never touch K2 again. I don't care what studies say. I saw the real world effects it caused on me. I'm lucky the clots formed somewhere that I could see them. I shudder to think what would have happened if they formed on the interior.
