This song opens up a door inside you that if you are willing to enter you will find joy, sorrow, love ,pain and every feeling that will make you feel alive.
I've seen lots of reactions to this beautiful song now. They all mine... sadness, sorrow, l9ve 9f the melody but when David's guitar starts to sing, wow! Joy, elation and awe! Absolute legends!
Its wonderful to see such a pure and genuine reaction to the experience and the emotion that listening to Pink Floyd brings. I hope that you will continue to discover more of their music in the days to come. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. 💕💕
One has to have a music brain to grasp Pink Floyd music . Thank you Sir David Gilmore for the years of masterpiece songs you have given us . God bless you sir .
Yes ! Isn’t Pink Floyd amazing 😊. David Gilmour makes a guitar cry. He is a guitar master. You watched what many consider the best guitar solo ever played. Other songs to enjoy are Sorrow, The Great Gig In The Sky, and High Hopes among others. You will grow to love Pink Floyd. ❤
And the man can sing. I always thought of him as a guitarist until I really started to listen and then learned that in ways I do not understand properly that HE is an instrument.
What a wonderful reaction to Pink Floyd. I love that you just sit and listen, and react afterward. I heard this years ago (I am an old man now - 😊), and I forget how I felt when I first heard it. So, it is wonderful to discover someone hearing it for the first time. Brings back a few memories to me. This song was the first time I ever heard an instrument "speak" to me. The talent by all the performers is magnificent. Keep seeking out new experiences, and have happy travels in your life's journey. Take care, and best wishes.
When you get THAT kind of emotional reaction from watching the band on a small screen and through headphones, IMAGINE what it was like to be THERE that night!! Surrounded by the amazing clarity of the sound. . . Sound that can punch you in the chest and make your bones vibrate. . Along with thousands and thousands of people around you, and they are all TRANSPORTED by the music, the same as you are. . . The lights. . the movement. . . Overloading all your senses. . . GLORIOUS! It would have been a once-in-a-lifetime experience that would have been amazing. . Some guitarists can play a milion notes a minute and are fantastic. . David Gilmour can play ONE note and creep into your soul with it. . .
You said it...David Gilmore plays his guitar like someone singing. Some parts of the solos reminded me of classical music, like Mozart or maybe Beethoven??? "Fusion Rock" or "Fusion Music" is some of my favorite type of music.
It's so interesting: David Gilmour does not try to impress you with lots of fast playing. Compared to other great guitarists, he plays very few notes. But each one of them has so much meaning. It's very thoughtful playing. He can express so many emotions in just one note.
Seeing Pink Floyd Live was the Best Experience of my life. And yeah that's the Best Light Show Ever Watched it costs around 1 Million Dollars of Light Equipment. Truly a Wonderful Place And Time to never be forgotten. David Gilmore is Amazing on the Guitar and makes it Sing in every song.
Hi there Black Adarr. Welcome to Pink Floyd and Yes, their Music aims for your soul and is emotional for everyone. This is what Bands, Music and Concerts used to be like. When the musicians could play an instrument and sing at the same time... No "Auto Tune," nothing but pure talent. Keep in mind that the reason that the guys look old here, in 1994 is because they all started "Pink Floyd" 30 years before this concert was recorded. I think that you should do yourself a favor tonight. Find some place where you won't be disturbed, get comfortable, turn out the lights and experience this again, by yourself and where you don't need to keep your emotions in check, for the Camera. Because when you try to control your emotions, you're basically having to close the door to your Heart & Soul, so you don't cry in front of us all. Pink Floyd is an emotional experience for everyone. Relax & enjoy it to the fullest. Keep Smiling... Cheers...
I enjoy watching all the younger generations enjoying what we grew up in that Era the music was so fantastic back then and they played their music from their hearts so thank you lord for letting me witness how great it was to be a young teenager enjoying life and all of our freedoms
Había un talento impresionante, que suerte de poder vivirlo, me hubiera encantado estar ahí para poder disfrutarlo, gracias a mi padre, lo descubrí hace bastante tiempo, soy de los 80, pero es espectacular, saludos
I am just so glad to see the young people of today reacting to this music the same way we did, 50 years ago. God Bless you, as I know that Pink Floid just did.
There was never a group or songs or music quite like Pink Floyd. They are the GOLD STANDARD by which all other groups are measured. LEGENDS going back over 50 years. Their album DARK SIDE OF THE MOON, for example, stayed at the #1spot for 400 and some weeks, just over the 4 year mark. INCREDIBLE ! David Gilmour is the whole reason I play electric guitar and a Fender Stratocaster in particular. It's my favorite possession/obsession. Enjoy the trip.
We used to say and still do, David Gilmore’s solos puts soul into your soul. That solo and the one on Time are 2 of his best. But those aren’t the only great ones.
This song connects to the deepest parts of your soul. Every time I see someone get emotional listening to this song I get the feeling that maybe, just maybe humanity still has a chance.
Glad you liked it, I saw this Tour at Indianapolis, Indiana June ''94, it was much more impressive Live! Guitars wake up on Christmas morning hoping that Santa left David Gilmore underneath the Christmas Tree!
Greatest guitar solo of all time in my opinion. Truly epic. And the irony of it is, the skills necessary to play like that are reasonably achievable. Two years of dedicated practice? It's all in the heart, soul, and a willingness to express yourself through a musical instrument. The guitar is, in my opinion, one of the greatest instruments to express what you cannot find words for. Finally, I'd suggest you react to Stevie Ray Vaughn's rendition of Little Wing (studio version please). Another epic masterpiece of musical expression on the level of Comfortably Numb.
I'm an old man. I grew up in Chicago. I've heard the blues played by everyone from Buddy Guy to Taj Mahal. The best on Earth. But no one plays the blues like David Gilmour. This is rock gospel. This song is fucking sick.
The music is unreal, but if we focus on the stage for a second.. It's magical aswell even in todays standard, imagine back then! I wish I could time-travel and see this live
Alot of people say there overrated I challenge anyone to one night play this song with headphones on ahave a glass of wine turn the lights off light a candle and sit back view the video and listen this song will take you into a different place
Pick any song from the Pulse tour and, for me, it is a treat for the soul. After the late 60s I had some hard doors guarding my soul and Pink Floyd and in particular David Gilmour is about the only thing that can crack them open. It is a hard watch for me but Wish You Were Here is a good one for me. I loved watching you lose yourself in the music. Thank you!
I was lucky to have experienced Pink Floyd in my youth and it stirs my soul still today. But I lament modern music, where is the current generations answer to Pink Floyd ?
Oh no no no! You went through that with just one earphone in place? Now do it again but with both sides in, please. Also, keep your eyes on the news folks, because if this is not played at my funeral I'm gunna get up and make a scene and it won't be pretty!
Keep going Adarr great reaction there are very few bad Pink Floyd songs. What ever song you want to react to or what ever the request,...do it you will be a happy girl.
Pretty lady - you should watch the movie 'Pink Floyd - The Wall' Youre mind will never be he same - in a good way! Its a story/moviie/bio/trip you will LOVE!
There are two bands that stand miles apart from all the rest, and is led zeppelin & pink Floyd. 1a/ 1b, don't care where you put them. Point is everyone else starts 33. That's the gap between those two and anyone else.
I never tire of seeing people discover the emotional depth of this performance. Great reaction.
Thank you 🥰💕
yeah every other month i do a "floyd numb pulse reaction" search, it's been going for over a year now lol
I'm on 5 in a row with this one... I love it!

Greatest guitar solo of all time!!
I've seen lots of reactions to this beautiful song now. They all mine... sadness, sorrow, l9ve 9f the melody but when David's guitar starts to sing, wow! Joy, elation and awe! Absolute legends!
David Gilmour does not plug his guitar into an amplifier. He plugs it into your soul.
Not only is it a fantastic song but it was like hearing it for the first time again watching it with you. Thank you ❤
Glad you like it! Indeed it is a fantastic song 🥰❤️
the lyrics is for the song, the guitar is for your heart, that's the Pink floyd power.
Its wonderful to see such a pure and genuine reaction to the experience and the emotion that listening to Pink Floyd brings. I hope that you will continue to discover more of their music in the days to come. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. 💕💕
