DAVID GILMOR is (singer/ guitar ) is my fifty yr crush. You got to see when he was young- oooh baby.😮😮❤ When you get a chance watch The movie( wall) Can’t count how many times I’ve watched. An experience EVERY TIME.
Some people say, the second guitar solo of comfortably numb as played on the pulse tour is the best guitar solo ever recorded. And it tends to to agree. The way David Gilmore makes his guitar sing is beyond comparison!
I do agree, It's without a doubt one of the greatest solos ever recorded, but people should never forget the solo from Parisienne Walkways by Gary Moore. That thing hits hard...
@@teknotonyPerfectly correct, but tell someone to check out The Division Bell tour and they will be lost. Call it the Pulse tour and they have heard of it......and can easily find it.
David Gilmour does not simply play the guitar. He tells a story with it. There are some songs that no matter how may times you hear it, you never tire of it. This is one of them. The Dark Side Of The Moon is an album which also fits that description.
On The Turning Away from the show A Delicate Sound Of Thunder. Alot of everyone singing in that. Awesome reaction. The Ultra Disco Ball was probably sensory overload for the audience.
Congratulations Young Lady You have just been " Gilmorized" by the Lead Singer and Guitar player David Gilmore one of the best solo demonstrations known to mankind 👊😁
Comfortably numb is not only a classic, it's also one of the most popular songs in their catalog, which is quite extensive. You should check out the Echos from Pompeii. They're all very young and at the top of their game. You'll get to all of the original members of the band. I'm so glad to hear that young people like you are discovering Pink Floyd and getting into them. I remember the first time I heard them, and I envy the journey that is ahead of you. Take care!
You can see that every reactor who never listen to Pink Floyd before and start whith Comfortably Numb, have the same expression at the first seconds, meaning "What is that??" haha 😁😁
I bought my first Pink Floyd album in 1969 (Ummagumma) and saw them live in 1971 and 4 more times after that. For me This is the BEST band of all times. Now I'm 71 years old and still listen to them everyday.
I've been listening to these guys for 50 years. Kudos for not interrupting the guitar solos. PF is a journey, their catalog is very deep, you have some amazing music in store for you! I'm kind of envious, hearing it for the first time would be amazing. Great reaction!
Pink Floyd are all top level musicians and the best of the best. I am glad to see young people listen to actual music not the junk thats on the radio these days. Pink Floyd would play 3 to 4 nights in one city and sell out every show.
absolutely one of my favorite songs by Pink Floyd! This song in particular is so emotional. Get your tissues out. This is one of the best live performances of this song!
Congratulations on finding Pink Floyd. You have a lot of great songs to look forward to. Some songs to consider. High Hopes, Sorrow, The Great Gig In The Sky, The Inside Out.
I was there! Same concert, two weeks before the show you just saw. At Giants Stadium, East Rutherford NJ. I recall crying tears of joy as I was so overwhelmed by what I saw abd heard during Comfortably Numb. I couldn't stop shouting "This cannot be happening!" But it was happening Congratulations on starting your Pink Floyd journey.
This is from the 1994 tour and I went to see them live. The entire concert was amazing and when you see the visuals and the environment they provide it's only looking at the stage. On the stadium floor the sound is all around you and the visuals are in front of you and over your head all the way behind you. You are immersed and can't even tell there is a world outside that stadium Unforgettable. I'm a long time subscriber and fan of yours. Beautiful
I was there at Earls Court as well. What a show! Best sound, visuals and atmosphere of any show I have ever been to and I've been to a lot but I remember it like yesterday.
I was there at this concert, totally awesome.seen them twice along with queen, deep purple, black sabbath, aerosmith, bon jovi, bryan adams,ac/dc with their original singer bon scott b4 he passed away. Cant beat a super concert.x
Dave Gilmour is, without question THE GOAT lyrical guitarist to my mind. He makes it sing in ways no mortal should be able to! I've loved his work for over half a century now, noone comes close!
It made me smile in anticipation when you said the first guitar solo was so beautiful. Clearly your smile showed what you thought about the second guitar solo that seems like it is about to end 3 or 4 times but when it finishes, you want it to continue. Enjoy your journey with Pink Floyd.
Pink Floyd was the ones I listened to as a troubled teen. When things were really bad I would just go into my bedroom put on my headphones put on some Floyd and rank it up while laying on my bed.
Pink Floyd was scheduled to only do one performace at Earl's Court. The demand was so high, that they did a second show. This is the best performance of Comfortably Numb you will ever listen to or watch. Pink Floyd was not a band to just listen to, but one to physically experience. You reaction is one that I expected to see.
Loved your reaction Ola! Brings tears to my eyes every time I see younger people falling in Love with great music I have been listening to my entire life. Your comment about the vocals and guitars is right on, and what is missing in a lot of current music. Most of the older music most of the band members sang. It adds so much! pink Floyd has a massive discography.
Thank you for such a beautiful reaction. You just listened to probably the greatest guitar solo ever played. I was there in 1994. Life changing concert. Life changing solo. Thank you for listening and reacting. Now....learn more about Pink Floyd, and dig deep. Try listening to "Mother"
Pink Floyd are the Undisputed Gods of Live performance. Absolute Masters of merging the visual with the musical to trigger an emotional connection. You just watched a living guitar God redefine what a guitar solo is. Every single song from this concert is performed to exact same level. I'd recommend Sorrow and Keep Talking next.
The bad news is that we will never see a rock / pop concert of this overall quality again. The good news is that the whole concert was this good, and the DVD is still available for sale .......over 2 hours of musical bliss. This was the 2nd of 3 encores. The 3rd encore song to end the concert is totally different but just as brilliant. Run Like Hell.......listen next and be fully converted into a forever Pink fan.
Pink floyd were the forerunners of sycadelic progressive rock I've been listening to them for over fifty odd years and I rarely go a day without listening to something of theirs they set the standards so high I doubt there is anyone out there who could better them or even Come close they are unique and emensly musically talented your reaction was wonderful to be honest it comes as no surprise to me people of all ages and from all over the world love pink Floyd's incredible rock music pure class and unfortunately I don't think we will ever see or hear their like again im74 years young and I'm going to keep on listening and enjoying myself until I drop off the twig rock on
I have been a Pink Floyd fan for 50 years, I have got the live version and listened to it a million times and yet I had tears running down my face listening to the music and your reaction. Just one of the best songs ever written. Period.😅
It's always lovely to see people react to Pink Floyd. A group that I admire since over 40 years. I even saw this show live here in Belgium. You got to check out this whole concert and later EVERYTHING from Pink Floyd because everything is fantastic! The album 'Dark side of the moon' for example is a real masterpiece! I just subscribed to your channel, so I hope to see more Pink Floyd reactions! :)
B minor always gets to people it's so great younger people starting to appreciate the music that shaped the world at the time pink Floyd truly one of the greatest,. music we feel ❤️
Great choice - so at this concert there are 3 of the original members. Lead singer/guitarist (Dave Gilmour), the drummer (Nick Mason) and keyboardist (Richard Wright). Personally I always thought that the best rock band was between them and Led Zepplin. But they're both brilliant in their own way. I mean Pink Floyd had an album in the Billboard top 200 for something like 988 (non consecutive) weeks.
David was in the band since 1968, this are damned 55 years now and true he replaced Sid Barrett who was member in the first 3 years. But he was with the band in their most famous times and did write/compose so many famous songs. To say he is not an original member because he was not in from the very first start, is absolutely, totally wrong. Shame on you @Lenco1980
If you really wanna know, what it means, when people say, David Gilmour doesn't just play the guitar,. but tells whole stories with it,you surely should react on Pink Floyds Song "One of These Days"
I noticed that you did go listen to this song. I had said in my last comment that if you wanted to listen to another long guitar solo, then go listen to this song. Looks like l wasn't the only person who suggested it to you. Lol Nice reaction to the song.😊
Welcome in the wonderful music world of Pink Floyd. Fan from the start and got all (studio) albums. And the DVD of Pulse. This is the best performance of the song Comfortably Numb from the performance of The Wall.
When this came out I would listen to this front to back with headphones LOUD. The Movie is a MUST watch for you now if you want the entire story. (You won't need drugs but it won't hurt) 😎 Whatever it cost to go to this concert, it was worth it.🤑 Happy belated 4/20+
My favorite 2nd band! You will love them😍
I had to laugh when you kept mentioning how much you loved the first solo. You ain't seen nothing yet!
Oh yeah!
Thank you, Bright Angel, for not interrupting the final guitar solo. I love your commentary on the song.
DAVID GILMOR is (singer/ guitar ) is my fifty yr crush.
You got to see when he was young- oooh baby.😮😮❤
When you get a chance watch
The movie( wall)
Can’t count how many times I’ve watched.
An experience
EVERY TIME.
Some people say, the second guitar solo of comfortably numb as played on the pulse tour is the best guitar solo ever recorded. And it tends to to agree. The way David Gilmore makes his guitar sing is beyond comparison!
They sing together.
It's perfect harmony between man and machine, like the guitar is a part of him.
I do agree, It's without a doubt one of the greatest solos ever recorded, but people should never forget the solo from Parisienne Walkways by Gary Moore. That thing hits hard...
There was no Pulse Tour , it was The Division Bell Tour , The Pulse recording is the commercial recording of that tour , Just saying
@@teknotonyPerfectly correct, but tell someone to check out The Division Bell tour and they will be lost.
Call it the Pulse tour and they have heard of it......and can easily find it.
My opinion The best solo is in San Paulo Brazil Unbelievable!!
David Gilmour does not simply play the guitar. He tells a story with it.
There are some songs that no matter how may times you hear it, you never tire of it. This is one of them. The Dark Side Of The Moon is an album which also fits that description.
There album Dark Side of the Moon was in the charts for 15 years as I recall.
On The Turning Away from the show A Delicate Sound Of Thunder. Alot of everyone singing in that. Awesome reaction. The Ultra Disco Ball was probably sensory overload for the audience.
David Gilmour has an otherworldly voice, it is almost ethereal ❤❤
SORROW FROM PULSE IS AWESOME!
nice vocals ....... & he's the LEAD GUITARIST
I was one of the kids on the another brick in the wall. i was 8. They picked kids from a few schools in South London ❤

Congratulations Young Lady You have just been " Gilmorized" by the Lead Singer and Guitar player David Gilmore one of the best solo demonstrations known to mankind 👊😁
On The Turning Away, live 1988 by Pink Floyd. another great solo at the end!

David Gilmours solos are epic and his vocals are amazing. Pink Floyd is an experience that is unforgettable by many. I loved your reaction.
David Gilmour sings beautifully with two voices - one that comes from his mouth and another that comes from his guitar.
I bought my first Pink Floyd album in 1969 (Ummagumma) and saw them live in 1971 and 4 more times after that. For me This is the BEST band of all times. Now I'm 71 years old and still listen to them everyday.
Pink Floyd as well as Led Zeppelin are for the ADVANCED music listener. 💥💥💥👍😎
Been listening to them for close to 50 years now, still learning...
I've been listening to these guys for 50 years. Kudos for not interrupting the guitar solos. PF is a journey, their catalog is very deep, you have some amazing music in store for you! I'm kind of envious, hearing it for the first time would be amazing. Great reaction!

I agree completely. If you ask me who my favorite band is, I couldn't pick one over the other.
David not original member

One of the best live guitar solos ever filmed. Your reaction was adorable!
The stage is an eyeball. It focuses on Gilmour at first,,,,then shifts it's focus to it's 3rd eye. 💥💥💥🤪
The Best Guitar Solo EVER Recorded
Got a sub from me just for listening to the pink floyd, anyone who tries that, deserves that at least! Buckle up for this show!
The joy in your face at the end is priceless !
I noticed that you did go listen to this song. I had said in my last comment that if you wanted to listen to another long guitar solo, then go listen to this song. Looks like l wasn't the only person who suggested it to you. Lol Nice reaction to the song.😊
Sorry, I don't know anything about the "Telegram" platform. However, I saw a business email on the home page, so I sent an email to that.
I dare say this Just might be the BEST song ever video taped
Nice reaction to a great song and performance...Thank you for taking the time to do these reactions for us. Have a great weekend.
As beautiful as your eyes are, to best enjoy Pink Floyd, eyes closed is virtually mandatory…
