"Every thing u hate about yourself is just a part that loves you and wants to protect you, even a self harming one just wants the physical pain to protect you from unbearable emotional pain and if u just took a time to listen to it and love it back, it might become your greatest gift" what u said in the last part is just a really good piece of advice. I was skeptical watching this. I thought it would end like any other video of this kind. I thought you'd finish your 30 day challenge and that you would be happier than ever. But then your short conclusion hit me so hard. I'm starting therapy on Monday, hoping to work through these things. For me, social media has always been my escape. Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future.., I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life!!

It wasn’t like “Wow after 30 days everything has been healed and I loved happily ever after” but instead it was more like “I didn’t live happily ever after, rather I realized that the story is still ongoing with its highs and lows, but I see it differently and approach things differently in order to better understand myself, love myself, and be more productive.” I think this was a great video and a point in reality that not everything has a expected happy ending to it.

@@revoltoff Apologies, but I’d have to respectfully disagree here.
Unless you’re aiming for being a billionaire. Which is not necessary for most people to be fulfilled, successful, happy.
Those who seek fame and wealth have the wrong goals in my humble opinion.
They’re in love with a future temporary result, not an every day process.
Even when they get their fame and wealth, they often end up feeling unfulfilled and unhappy because they have the wrong mindset. They still want more and never appreciate the present moment.
But they’ll get it eventually, hopefully. We’re all at a different step of self-love and acceptance.
Do what you love, what fulfills you, do it well enough and long enough to get the rewards from your commitments.
It’s okay to not be 100% devoted to it every single seconds.
      That’s human, and that’s a lie.
And telling people to give up before even trying is the worst advice one can give.
People who succeed are the ones who did it long enough without giving up.
It’s always seem impossible until someone does it.
People should not limit themselves regarding what they can achieve and put ceilings on their capabilities.
Finally, it’s not about the result anyway, because one can’t predict the future. He who tries to avoid pain, suffering, undesired events out of fear and aversion, and he who craves certains things, are both usually miserable.
It’s about the person you become by following the process. Not numbers on a screen, whether your bank account or your social media following.
Don’t judge what happens to you, it’s not “positive” or “negative”, those are just arbitrary and subjective labels.
      Things just are. They happen.
It’s about what you do about them.
You can’t predict the future anyway.
Just make the best to appreciate the present moment.
Bad and good moments are both temporary anyway.
      Everything will pass.
It does not mean it’s not worth it.

That being said life is actually way more simple If you let it. 👌 Best of luck.

I (15) started to take myself seriously earlier this year around May.
I deleted tiktok because I realized that I'm incapable of disciplining myself to watch for less hours. I always fell into that "rabbit hole" of mindlessly watching tiktok for 8 hrs.
It took over my education and health in general. My daily routine is way much better compared to when I had tiktok and other games. I now excercise at least 4 days a week, read, cook, do more things that I love or even things that are boring but I know are good for me.
I can confidently say that I wouldn't have been this productive if I had still had tiktok/insta and my fav games. It started with guilt then led to confrontation and finally relieved and no regret.
Saying that you're going to start taking care of yourself is no doubt easier said that done. It was so challenging no way was it a smooth road. But you have to actually DO IT and put in so much work.
My greatest fear is that I get distracted with social media again. Losing a well maintained routine *again* will be my biggest downfall.

I've watched this maybe twice in the past six months, and it's truly amazing. I really want to give it a try for myself. I'm ignoring my 'productive' side. I'm submitting too much to instant gratification that I can't happily get on with school work or exploring new options when these things are meant to be exciting. My hope starting tomorrow, is that I'm going to disconnect from my 'online/social' world and focus more on myself. To remove unhealthy distractions and to embrace challenge. My goals are to make progress and come to a conclusion with exploring my future (picking university), I know that it would be good for myself to try and make an Instagram page dedicate to something I am passionate about (self improvement). I would also like to focus on my fitness and bettering myself academically because I know I won't get the results I need otherwise. So thank you for this video, it's extremely helpful as it's sparked movement in me.

I thought it was supposed to be a motivational, 'how to become more productive' kinda video, but what it truly has taught me is to allow yourself various states of mind without feeling guilt or shame for that. I've been struggling with those two feelings all my life (I'm 26), and I've been working with a therapist on this, but it seems like this video made it clear for me more that the sessions I've paid for hahah. I'm going through a break-up and a general soul-searching, so I've been trying to rehabilitate myself kinda like you did (sports, healthier nutrition, walking, having massages, reading...), but I didn't feel any changes in my state of mind, I stayed the same and a very strict parent to myself. So thank you a lot for reminding me not to be this overcriticizing, toxic and abusive parent to my inner child. I wish you all the best in all your endeavors!

Man I'm so happy for you having found that last bit of inspiration that came from the book. Work is an addiction that we get much appreciation for. Hence we don't really feel how it is slowly killing us inside. Mostly we try to stay busy to suppress feelings we're too afraid to confront. At the same time it's what fuels our ambition and makes us as strong as we are. But there's a different source within us. One that helps us to solely create out of pure inner inspiration. We honestly have all the money we need to live a happy life. Our ego might have brought us here faster, it's true. Though I chose not to let it enslave myself for the rest of my life and instead focused on living a life based on pure joy for the moment. I loved how you started painting, I loved how vulnerable you speak. You're a good man. You're enough. You're enough even without numbers. Hope that reaches the inner child. Sending you many blessings and wishing you many happy moments on your ~100 year long ride.

I'm always coming back from school and then just right aways playing computer games until it gets evening. I could do so much more. But when I sometimes for example start drawing a picture, i feel like it will take so much time and hard work that i just can't continue. I always ask myself why I'm existing. I kinda feel sick all the time. This video was a great inspiration.

Hey just a tip from a long time meditator. The initial ambition to meditate is really good. But when you start out an infinitely more effective way to meditate is for 10min each hour.
If you really want to intergrate meditation this is the way to go.
Meditating five hours straight can be counterproductive. But the desire that shows is a really strong piont/favourable qaulity.
10 minutes every hour will start changing your brain in more permanent ways, it also is time efficient at 2hrs for a 12 hour day of practise. Even 6 sessions is good.
10 min every hour is like elite method used by some Buddhist lineages. Just a little tip.
Additionally, while you meditate, watch the breath under your nostrils, simply observe it, eyes closed.
This is called "object of meditation", so something you put your focus on.
    This will help anchor you.
The idea is not to try and stop the mind, but simply observe it, observing the breath help to anchor you in this observation activity. So simply watch the breath, while resting in the observation of it.
You can't stop you mind as you may have noticed. But once you observe it for long enough, you will kind of take a backseat and be watching it constantly, even throughout the day(after months).
Gradually a peaceful disposition will build, situated around relaxing as the observer of the mind rather than constantly caught in it. From there deeper states of peace and other phenominon will occur, such as bliss and what they might call the unmoving, everpresent self As awareness, prior to thinking.

11:01 when i was younger i didnt touch my computer almost never, and it allowed me to think about the world we live in, think about myself and my surrounding. Thats where my life philosophy and answers to questions i had came out of. I didnt need no philosopher to tell me all of this. I was only 10 - 12. And I can't stress it bad enough guys. You HAVE to try this if you are still young. Just sit on your bed and let the questions pop into your mind themselves. And then try to answer them instead of escaping to your phone.

I was worried for when i would grow up to become nothing. As of right now, im trying to do something with my life. I even hate myself that i dont even know how to cook. My dad even said to me that i didnt do anything with my life, i just played games and thats it.

The best way to self mastery is to serve other selves. To serve others. You will discover that mastery is for power, and power is a utility for service.

Congrats for your breakthrough and thank you and your friends for this work. I think this is something I needed to see. Watching you I realised that I have the same problem of thinking "Ishould be doing more" so always what I did feels like an under-achievement, always feels like I could have done more until I'm exhausted so even when I try to relax or to take time off for something like watching netflix or something, there's a part in me that feels regret about it. And same as you, I put off things i like more like going to places (things that take more time and planning). It turns my life more and more into a repeating sequence. It takes courage to just sit back and face what is disturbing the peace within. what is holding you back. It feels like you could be doing something more important but in fact you cant. You just have to put aside everything else and give your time to face what is disturbing and try to understand it without judgement, without labeling make peace with it. When you do you can see that even mind can go silent or at least chatterring lessens a lot. I was avoiding this lately and even my porductivity was no good. This video was an awesome reminder and just at the right time.

Just a little explanation for those who don't (really) know about God's love and Jesus' sacrifice for us.
      If I ask you:
      -Have you ever lied?
      -Have you ever stolen?
-Have you ever used the name of God in vain?
-Have you ever disrespected your parents?
      -Have you ever killed someone?
      Etc.
The answer for all of us is probably yes to at least one of these questions. According to the 10 commandments, if you did commit those acts you are then a liar, a thief, a blasphemor, a murderer etc.
James 2:10 ''For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.''
If you were in Court (God being the judge) to be judged for these crimes, would you be held innocent or guilty? Guilty.
Based on those crimes what would be the sentence? Heaven or hell? Hell.
But is there a way for you to be exonerated? YES!
Jesus is the answer. He paid your fine. You are now free. Indeed, by being crucified, Jesus took all the sins of the world (all of my sins, all of your sins) on his shoulders.
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
      What does all that mean?
It is not the law nor our good deeds that will save us and make us just to God. There's no amount of work that we can do to deserve to be saved. We are all so flawed even though we try to be good. But you can have Eternal life with God. How? You just have to accept Jesus's sacrifice, repent from your sins and follow God. It is totally free! You don't have to go confess your sins to the priest to be saved, you don't have to pray 5 times a day to be saved, you don't have to be perfect! All God wants, is to have a genuine relationship with you. Real christianity is not a religion. It is a RELATIONSHIP with God. All you need to do is to have faith in him and repent from your sins.
And of course, if you accept Jesus in your life, you will still sin. We are all human and weak. But trust me, through God given Holy Spirit you will experience a love that will totally transform you and that will give you a peace that nothing in this world can offer you.
And if you sin, just recognize it and ask God to change your heart and He will. Nothing is impossible for Him. He wants and he can transform you [but only if you let Him do]!
God knows you completely and loves you totally, and this void in your heart and in your life is Him inviting you to seek Him and to surrender everything to Him. We were created for so much more than this earth!
His promise for everyone without exception: "If you seek me with all your heart, you will find me" (Jeremiah 29:13). ''God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth." (John 4:24) I met him, and thousands and thousands of people have also genuinely met Him.
God is not a myth, Jesus is not just a historical figure. He is more than alive and He wants you to experience his love and mercy!
No matter who you are, no matter what you've done, God wants you to know that He loves you so much. He died on the cross for you! And He doesn't want anyone to perish but have eternal life.
"The Lord is not slow to fulfill His promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance." (2 Peter 3:9)
He gave us free will. Therefore I don't want to force you to believe in anything. I just want you to know that you have nothing to lose searching for Him but genuinely everything to win. May God bless you.
