Love these simple practices. Been doing Jeff’s “10 minute” Quigong practice for about a year now, easy and available on a daily basis. The importance of daily practice he emphasizes makes sense. My 10 minute routine clocks in at about 20 by now as I added the deeper squatting version of “hands scooping up on inhale, fanning out on exhale” to the squat exercise Jeff gives in the original 10 minute practice. This is a nice pared down version. The mantra I use here is “Relax as it is”, a phrase which has proven useful when driving, which can easily devolve into stressful encounters. “Relax as it is” operates as a reality check on two fronts. One: the situation exists so there’s no point denying it. And two: the way it is may not be to my liking, but, as the Borg in Star Trek say, “Resistance is futile.” You must accept reality before you can relate to it in a positive manner. It’s important to understand that acceptance is not necessarily acquiescence. Anyway, I’m grateful for Jeff’s teachings.
I have been practicing your routines for 4 or 5 days now, and this morning my back and hip released for the first time in 10 years. The long-held pattern of bracing and pain is dissipating, and I felt strong and solidly rooted into the earth. Thank you Jeff. These videos are helping me a ton!

I loved this routine! Just what I needed. I visualized something I like to do often that makes me feel peaceful and connected to Nature. I love to stand beneath the branches of a beautiful tree and look up. I even like to touch the leaves and feel the texture between my fingers.

How, beautifully peaceful. It bought back a wonderful memory of a peaceful and joyful moment in my life. It is wonderful how such a fleeting moment in my history brought back the physical and emotional sensations with it Thankyou so much.
I Love this, and I felt a light inside and I could remember a memory from my childhood, when I was sleeping in a window in a house by the sea and I saw the light from the sun glitter on the waves and everything became light around me. The Qigong I studied is similiar, only we always opened and closed with a bow and before closing saved the chi into our tien dien. The word or idea or image or whatever was a real surprise. I try to practice meditation multiple times, and my mind is so busy during those times with memories, current thoughts or worries or planning and an experience of what I call forecasting, trying to predict what's going the result of an event or project or task ahead of me. The forecast is usually cloudy with a guarantee of thunderstorms, and I'm usually wrong. Even if something does go wrong, there usually SOME good that comes out of it. I'm sure that's not a surprise to anyone who practices meditation. The word and image that came to me for peace is emptiness. My mind had space and thought of nothing but the practice. That's rare for me and such a enlightening "peaceful" surprise. So thank you so much for that!!

My mother lives in an assisted living home and they have recently began introducing new activities(!) for the residents. (They were so down with the past years , a lot of loneliness and boredom. We are so thankful for the lady who does exercises with these wonderful men and women! She changes it up and used your video yesterday. Mom really enjoyed it, pressing into The Holy Spirit and peaceful thoughts. I decided to find your video and do this myself today and just breathing for that amount of time is something I sincerely need to do at least once a day! I loved reading people's shared journeys through memories. Here's mine: I thought about a cabin we had on a lake when I was a little girl and imagined the aroma of the wet sand, wood, water, etc. It is a wonderful practice! Thank you!
Found this practice really helpful. Loved the combination of the spinal twisting with the cleansing, and then following that up with cloud hands, which to me is this very ethereal "I am" kind of movement.

A peacefull mind. It was the first time i practice this exercice this morning, and to help, i was thinking about a man i see at the park sometimes. He walks with his dog, and he seems so calm. His dog too. Everytime i see him I can't stop looking at him, and feeling peacefull myself. I think this man found his inner peace, sharing it all around.

My peace filled memory took me to the recent dry spell about a month ago, I was replenishing the bird bath, and a young pine siskin came down to splash in the fresh water, I stopped pouring and it looked up to me...I continued with the watering can...and the sweet bird came under the water pouring out to shower...and I just kept pouring....then it hopped away onto the ledge to shake off the water and flew up to a close spruce limb~~~ 💚 Thank You and Nature for her peaceful offerings~~~

I can't emphsise too much the importance of regular practise. The effect is accumulative. Ten minutes every day is better than an hour once a week
