Working on my bob build as well. We drilled motor plates tonight to mock up the motor. It’s getting there verryyy slowly. Lots of things we haven’t done before.

You aren't worried about cavitation from dumping the exhaust into the pump tunnel?
Not necessarily, that how the old exhaust was ran so I don’t see how it would effect it by switching sides.
If I remember correctly the 300sx had a rubber boot that routed the exhaust to come out on the back side of the pump. Just something to think about. Good job on the build so far. I can't wait to see your finished product.

Looking at a three seater ski Doo. Needs a lot carbs and everything. I know the guy who bought. It new hard to. Believe the state that it's in had a 3 cylinder ZXI 1100 that was pretty tough I regret getting rid of it it had to trim control that thing would plan out pretty good had a cylinder down in it I pulled it all parts licked it up put a seat cover new knee pad on it I got a picture of it
You can use the purple foam stuff from home depot to fill the voids as well, to keep the 2 part foam usage lower.
I will definitely do that next time!

Since you cut the tray out like that, I'm surpriced your not going with adjustable footholds, you would have to beef up the gunnel a little. You could save a little by getting second hand holds, building your own would still be cheaper, footholds are super important to hold you in there, so you don't come out and get hurt.
