- Everyone knows that Reddit is home to some disturbing, distressing, depressing, dark, creepy and controversial content, but sometimes it gets too much for Reddit to handle, and they begin censoring content. Hope this video was good to take your mind off things

@@creepycassette My OCD was acting up.
BUT imagine if someone in the comments was the owner/creator of one of these. That would be so funny.
Genuinely shocked r/jailbait isn’t on here. That was the sub I knew as getting the most media attention back in the day and almost completely destroyed Reddit. There’s also a lot of crazy disgusting history behind it and its mods. It’s probably more famous and influential than r/creepshots these days and its effects are still hanging around on the site.
Exactly! Have You Seen Their Old Sister Subreddits Names? There Awful!
It always disgusts me how redditors keep defending these subreddits (along w the r**pe subreddits and a dozens pedophilia romanticizing subreddits) like idc if it’s a just a kink or if those actresses are 18. If you’re into that sh then this means that you’re effed up
Also does anyone remember the subreddits that were about fetishizing dead women, teens/children and literal babies? I remember a former friend sent me the links to them and I obviously couldn't forget the disturbing shit I saw on there. However, I never see anyone talking about them so I'm not sure if it wasn't just a nightmare or something.
I think it wasn’t on there because it’s the exact same as creepshots
Tbh I feel like that one could have it’s own video with its mod history and everything involved.
r/antiwork is a more extreme form of r/workreform. It's not actually meant to be anti-WORK, exactly (READ: not against work in itself, though it did start out that way), but more anti modern work culture.
Yes, some people legitimately don't want to work, but the majority just don't want to work under the shitty work conditions that are considered the norm. The community is very extreme and should be handled better, but seriously, work culture can be BS.
You guys are so cringe you subvert for every topic you are challenged on and rather than owning up to it you sugarcoat it or outright lie.

Piracy shouldn't be necessary but sadly it is to preserve games and other media, especially old ones.
And always remember: Pirating extremely expensive software with subscription models such as Adobe products is always morally correct. :)
Student here. I can’t afford many of the books I’m assigned to read, so in that case, I believe pirating is good for those who are struggling to purchase or cannot afford expensive textbooks and such. I do not condone it in certain instances but for me I find this very useful.
Also, pirating old nintendo games that won't be re-released (or will be released very expensively) and Sims dlc is also morally correct
Pirating is quite popular in 3rd world countries
Hoarding data is immoral. Software licenses are theft.
@@Watersiteplay Nintendo VC re-releases aren't really worth it, either considering you need a Nintendo account **barf** and it may not even be the original game, as with Pokemon RBY.

Megaupload is one I can name off the top of my head, assuming it counts.
This is an interesting video, but I think you completely misunderstood the point of r/antiwork . It is not a group of people who do not want to work and be lazy all day. They are demanding better conditions/benefits/pay. You shouldn't take cuts to the quality of your life for the benefit of some multi-billionaire who has tried to brainwash you in to believing you don't deserve a liveable wage, or PTO.
If housing wasn’t deliberately kept high via planned overpopulation, most people could easily live on 10-20 hour workweeks.
Instead people are forced into slavery by mortgages.
Yeah I've seen people congratulate others on getting a new job there. It has some legit good tips on how to stand your ground regarding your pay. But it does have rotten apples.
I see a point there. I worked at a pizza place and the pay was bad, too much work, and one boss denied me my lunch. Nexy day i quit that job. I do agree with this point, even if im right-wing.
I tell people NOT to get a job there ever.
You still picked an idjit to represent it.
It’s literally called anti work 💀
On the topic of r/AntiWork, the subreddit isn't actually dedicated to having everyone quit their jobs, but moreso dismantling the current job and work climate that exploits and abuses those at the bottom while lining the pockets of those at the top. I was kind of confused seeing it here because I genuinely don't understand why it would be banned
My guess is that it would be hate speech or, maybe in the future, inciting violence. While I don't think it'll ever be banned, I've been part of the community for a while, and people can sometimes get...passionate. I've seen people call managers horrible names and call for the deaths of corporate executives before. While the mods do a pretty decent job of filtering out the extremist content, it only takes one bad egg with a weapon to potentially shut down an entire online community.
The Fox News interview was fucking hilarious, that's my rebuttal
That was my thinking too as it was being explained it more seems like "if your workplace is a hellhole just leave and stick it to them when you do" seems harmless enough tbh
No the subreddit was actually created with the intention of getting everyone to quit their jobs, and the people who used the sub to complain about their bosses and poor working conditions were not the original demographic. While the subreddit's userbase is generally not people who want to never have to work in their lives, the moderators do hold this view. The infamous Fox News interview with the subreddit's creator has her admit that this is the case.
I mean, OP poisoned the well on a lot of these subreddits.
I also ended up on "r/creep shot". I had no idea until I received a message on fb. It was horrible! Someone found my fb and I received a d-pick out of the blue. Soon after this my message box got flooded with similar pictures and disgusting messages.
After some investigation I found out about the subreddit and the post. I had to get rid of all my social media accounts
That must’ve been such a traumatic and disgusting experience. I’m so so sorry you had to go through that 💕
That's sad. I'm sorry you had to go through that.
Thats terrifying! Im so sorry!
Sorry they didn't get rid of the subreddit soon enough to prevent this happening to you ☹️
You guys are all amazing. I'm just glad it's a thing of the past now
There is definitely an argument to be made on the validity of piracy when it comes to media preservation.
There are series and movies that have only ever gotten digital releases, and are only available on streaming services or a website. If they are removed from a streaming platform or the website goes under, it's gone. Completely. Many shows that HBOMAX has cancelled did not have any sort of physical release, and are basically lost media unless they were saved somehow. MySpace did a whole overhaul of their site that removed thousands of music only available on the site. No warning. Just entire indie music libraries gone.
This "everything is digital" world we are living in scares me for the fact that it's easier than ever for content to go missing. Vault fires aren't a thing anymore, but computers and the like are still very fallible. Especially when a company can just decide to erase media from existence and call it a tax write-off
Fair point. If a company thinks something isn't making money for them, they don't see a need for keeping it available. There are quite a few albums and games I've only been able to get 'illegally'
There was a semi-famous busker in Pittsburgh whose music was lost when Myspace changed everything.
I really wish I would have backed it up.
@@RedSpade37 There was so much amazing music lost through that
It is the same logic by which I have dvds now of most of my favorite old cartoon series. If I can't access it at the time I'd like to view it I have a physical copy that I can access at all times. (though in one case and one only I DID buy some of those to discontinue my extended support of a large company since you can only get a royalty on a single time purchase once, as oposed to pay-per-view or streaming that continues supports and that is because Nickelodeon has done enough wrongs in its past that while I still love some of these old cartoons and want to support some if not all of their individual creators, I do NOT want Nickelodeon as a corporation getting a constant flux of cash support from me until they acknowledge the wrongs and change moving forward (IE everything with Dan and what they did to Spongebob after Hillenberg passed against his stated wishes for the show) so I stick to my old dvds. I can then enjoy re-watching Ahh Real Monsters or Invader Zim or My Life As A Teenage Robot knowing that it's not going back into the companies pockets constantly for me to do so
Can't wait for this to become another Nintendo hate rant.
The scariest things about incels/femcels is how easy it is for a normal person to fall into that shit because they've had bad experiences, and then this cycle of hatred and despair just perpetuates itself nonstop, when they likely could have found happy relationships if they'd just never taken the blackpill to begin with.
Bro,if you believe Femcells exost you are more likely an Incel
I think negative experiences and lack of exposure to the opposite gender is what causes a lot of incel types to become incels. We really need to sit a lot of young people down and give them the whole "hey stop being weird and creepy to other people" as well as the "stop being mean to that wierd kid in class" talks.
@@alfsleftnut9224 I promise that it's not caused by LACK of exposure. The more humans you meet, the more likely you are to become a misanthrope.
@@SeekerGoldstone The more people you meet in person, the more you realize there are plenty of good men AND women. People become incels and femcels from sitting at home and constantly reading bad news stories and hate-charged posts on reddit and tumblr. And using online dating.
Femcels aren't real
Video was good until the end when you went on the anti pirate rant. What if I want to play a game that literally can't be played anymore because the cartrige is old or the consol can't be found. Piracy is also preservation. There are so many things that could have been lost had they not been found and kept by internet pirates.
piracy is often an issue of the copyright holder not making the product accessible enough, such as your example of pirating a game because new copies can't be bought (and preowned copies are very expensive because of demand/collectability), or someone pirating a movie because they can't watch it legally in their country. The streaming wars have likely increased piracy because people are fed up with having to pay for multiple subscription services just to watch everything they want. And sometimes fans of something have little other option besides piracy, if the owner of the thing they like is especially neglectful of it (such as never officially releasing it in a purchasable format, refusing to put it on their streaming service, refusing to localize a popular foreign title, etc;)
This is why people need nuance instead of opinions
Yeah, like I dont like lost media to spread even further
The new r/shoplifting is r/illegallifeprotips. It's a mix of illegal stuff, but shoplifting is usually the most discussed topic. But there are also quite a few joke posts (especially involving socks), reportedly so they can pass it off as a joke sub. Many members defend the meme posts because they believe they will be banned if they didn't allow them. I guess the strategy has worked so far!

MGTOW stands for Men Going Their Own Way. A MGTOW isnt the same as an incel.
The common factor isnt that they dont GET women, it's that they dont WANT women. It's that they want to focus their energies on self improvement rather than on trying to impress vapid strangers.
No joke, I remember when I went down the MGTOW rabbit hole during early 2020. Looking back, it’s fucking ludicrous the kind of things these guys were saying. The scary thing about Christchurch is the video, despite being illegal to view in New Zealand and for UA-cam to host, there's a channel that has it uploaded. The channel's been up for months, sneaking videos like Christchurch and Ronnie McNutt's suicide into videos of religious music. They're basically labeling videos as faith music lyric videos only for one of the videos to pop-up with tasteless sound effects from video games and television over them. The channel is has literally had illegal content uploaded on UA-cam for months now, whereas I made an anti-violence PSA that got removed (despite the guidelines saying "simulated violence" was not against them) from my original channel despite only having ninety-someodd subscribers. I only bring up the subscriber count because so many people say, "well, UA-cam doesn't really check into small channels". So, yeah, my PSA was removed for "promoting violence" while simultaneously hosting an illegal video.

About the piracy thing, I would absolutely legally watch any show and movie and would pay for it, if it was available where I live, but it's not. Most of the things I want to watch are unavailable in my area and I think having to get a VPN just to watch something legally is too much work and extra money spent. This might be a bit controversial: Obviously people shouldn't shoplift from small businesses but if I'm at a Walmart and I see someone taking necessities (food, hygiene, clothes, water) no I don't. Lots of people can't afford necessities and Walmart/other big chains that aren't struggling financially aren't going to be damaged from loss of product. I would rather let someone get away stealing from Walmart than let someone die of hunger. Stealing is kinda eh for morally right/wrong depending on the place/situation. Obviously rich and financially stable people should not be stealing under any circumstance. Piracy and shoplifting are not the same. Shoplifting is theft...theft is the removal of property from one possession or location to another, thus denying the original owner that property. Piracy is the unlawful duplication or broadcast of property...which does not remove the possession from the original ownership. It's a pretty fundamental difference.
@Skankhunt42 It was a point of clarification. It really should be a lesser crime, but it is still a crime.

Nope, it's actually a widespread ideology. The only reason you thought they were small fringe groups is because they hide it in public to avoid criticism and only say what they're thinking when they're online.
Their primary goal is to hijack every movement and to center themselves as the primary victims in ALL situations. It's a contradictory/bullshit ideology that disagrees with itself in 8 different dimensions but it's primary goal is that theyre the primary victims of everything and they should steal everyone's resources and if you disagree with them, you're a hater.

It's actually interesting how much racism and radical feminism go hand-in-hand. Mostly because the typical gender stereotypes these people uphold are based on features of white women and white western beauty standards. The amount of times I've seen radfems misidentify cisgender women (or women who were born female and identify entirely as female) as "biological men" is astounding, and it's more often than not because these women have non-white features and/or come from countries where beauty standards for women are entirely different. There is no room for diversity in radical feminism. Either you conform entirely to white western female beauty standards, or you're not a "real woman." It's gross.
I just mentioned in a comment how I’ve seen the racism in radical feminism but it just confused me. You gave an eloquent possible explanation. Thank you for it. Early feminism itself in the US was deeply racist (hello women’s suffrage movement) but I did not tie it all together.

the interesting thing about radfems is how....backwards they are? they're more than happy to throw fellow women under the bus if they don't fit into the western straight white woman mould they've cultivated, it's pretty sad
@@hannahbeanies8855 radical response dudester 🤙🤙
Yeah there’s a massive issue with radfems (being bigots and anti trans) and the racism you mentioned. it’s like they don’t realize how similar they are to far right white men with their bigotry and violent behavior.

11:03 The fact that both r/incel and r/TruFemcel *are both banned* shows that there are still hope for humanity.
Same goes for the banning of both r/PhysicalRemoval and r/ChapoTrapHouse, both should be banned and *should not* bring that to the real world.
Not much though, openly hating men and wishing them death is still socially accepted while hating women is (rightfully) shunned. Either punish people for both or just let everyone say what they want. I really hate this double standard situation. What justification do moderators have for just letting one type of hate slide?
Incels and Femcells are what you get when the dating market doesn't work for most people, unfortunately.
im not for banning things, but i see no problem with all these bans, they attract the weirdos and creeps and those are the type of people you dont want in your community
i love how these toxic people blame others for there faults, its never there fault at all
I agree. Saying things like these people do in a bug platform can be very harmful.
You cant be not for banning things.
Then immediately say you are for banning things.
@@krotchlickmeugh627 Well, this is something everyone does. They advocate free speech and anti censorship... for things that do no harm to people.
@@andreavasquez4355 thats not free speech. You internet generation do that because you have no grip on your emotions. You also have no idea ehat words mean anymore.
r/antiwork is more about complaining about jobs and wishing situations were better than anything else.
It never ceases to shock and horrify me how That Event was ONLY 80 years ago.
Hey, could you remove the name of the shooter in the first clip? Here in Aotearoa the name is purposely not said as he does not deserve to be named, only the victims deserve to be named.
The idea that shoplifting from a place like Walmart didn't hurt anyone is a load of horse shit. I've worked there for 11 years. Any shrink, or lost AND stolen merchandise, came out of the HOURLY associates bonuses. It did NOT come out of the companies pockets. It came out of my pocket, and my coworkers, but not management. Anyone that steals in general should be locked in fucking prison.
To clarify, that loss resulted in the hourly worker losing their bonus entirely and now it no longer even exists. We don't get bonuses anymore. So anyone that happens to be a thief out there, yeah, you're human garbage.
@@stfinalwrath Maybe y’all should blame WalMart for taking it out of your pay? I hear Unions can help with that sort of thing.
The growth of the incel community makes me deeply worried.
Wait so I'm a incel for not wanting to be in another romantic relationship because I wanna focus on my uni and my career 😂🤣 didn't even realise there was a 6 month limit rule.
I think by definition no, because 'incel' stands for 'involuntarily celibate'. If you've been trying to pull for more than 6 months with no results, then yes, but if you're focused on a career, no.
JFL at 6 months more like a lifetime. If it was 6 months 80% of men are in/cels, including dead bedrooms.
I'm also trying to push aside romantic relationships so I can focus on college, guess I'm an incel as well.
@@FoxAkimbo true forgot about the involuntary part of the world incel 😂
If you’re married and your wife isn’t demanding sex from you, you’re an incel.
Women are much hornier than men so if they’re not demanding it, it means there was never attraction to begin with and the relationship is money based
I don't condone shop lifting, but it pisses me off when people shop lift from Mom n Pop and smaller stores. Stores who will feel the loss.
Yeah, like taking a pack of oreas from WalMart isnt *good* , but at least it won'r hurt anyone. Stealing something from a small bussiness legitimately hurts the people running it
One of the more disturbing subreddits that my morbid curiosity led me down (regrettably cause I think I may actually be scarred by it) is r/crimescenephotos. I won't go into detail but you can imagine the sort of things you'll find there and o m g... *shudder*.
Anti work is more about workers rights, than it is against having jobs.
It’s more about getting people to do jobs they actually want to rather than have to for money and survival, at least for me it is.
11:50 if you're ugly, I think I'm literally hideous
The thing about fat shaming is....you would be surprised how often that comes from a place of being harassed by fat people......for not being fat....
It's not okay to body shame anyone....yes....even skinny people.
I’m one of those weirdos that love watching gore. For me, I am absolutely fascinated about the human body, and all the ways that people manage to wreck their own shit. We are extremely durable, but fragile at the same time, and when we get torn to shreds, it’s surprisingly very different to the ways animals are killed in the wild. Of course, I wouldn’t go out and murder people- in fact, I think watching gore and getting that rush in my veins makes me appreciate life more, and how precious but vulnerable it is. I can’t speak for every person that watches gore, but the people I’ve talked with who also watch it are generally very chill people that are super friendly.
👍
i like watching gore as long as its fake, like texas chainsaw massacre
Yep I miss watch people die.
I used to LOVE that sub Reddit!!!
I feel like I’m reading something from a psychopath
@ml as
I assure you, I’m not a psychopath lol. That might be counterproductive though as that might be what a psychopath would say 😶
surprised r/deadkids wasn't mentioned, or whatever it name was. i don't think i need, want, or have to elaborate on what it entails
People aren't talking about that one thread that discusses harming women. I've seen it discussed in another video, but it was never brought up again.
There is like a bajillion of those though
Anti work is more about work reform from what I’ve seen.
I pirate old video games because the market is stupid. I'm not paying $100 for a 20+ year old game that is no longer available for purchase online or in store.
I don't pirate games because I don't like committing crimes.
@@SaltyToad00 I like committing crimes, I pirate everything
I very much enjoyed this video. You covered the potentially controversial channels with care and your commentary was both funny and spot on. I hope you will create more videos like this one!
Being an incel is NOT a fucking “political view” and should not be legitimized as such. Let’s not perpetuate harmful communities in our videos, shall we?
Men going their own way didn’t start out as bad it started out as a way for men to be impowered to work on them selfs rather then trying to get laid
I appreciate that you didn't dig into either political party.
yeah, as a foreigner it's exhausting when everything gets filtered into american politics
Oh my, just subbed today and seen this notification. I loved your terminated channels and pranksters that got arrested videos!
Thanks for subbing mate! Hope you enjoy
Intresting video, im glad you covered so many bases and weren't clearly biased to one side or the other. Both sides of the far political sides should get criticism.
It was honestly refreshing.
im so glad i found your channel! been my favourite thing to listen to in the background the last few days :)
Glad you enjoy the content!
A pretty decent video man absolutely loved that you looked at both sides :) even tho I don’t agree with you about the death subs, shoplifting and especially the piracy sub it was still a great video!! Definitely got a new sub
Huge respect for how impartial and neutral your informative videos always are. I’m glad you respectfully tackle issues
This was very interesting! Thanks for covering it :3
Thanks for watching ❤️
Ooooo! This is actually really interesting. Would absolutely watch more of these 👀
When I say r/watchpeopledie I thought it was watch people die inside and was very confused for a second.
Thanks for making this video. I didn't know a lot of these even existed!
just found out i'm still two years too young to be considered an incel and i am very VERY relieved
I always thought of r/hermancainaward as a creepy and sad reminder that Facebook brainwashing can lead to death, not that the group was laughing at the deaths.
I've been on it for a while now, there are definitely people on there to laugh but it's closer to one of those spooky anti drug ads from the 90s than open mockery, it's a warning using shock tactics to be safe, take COVID seriously, and there are a lot of posts of people asking advice for explaining to their loved ones that they should be safe, so that they don't get their award.
Better more ppl laughing at them than ppl actually being them
recently found your channel and honestly dunno why you aren't more well known
Me too :(
Thanks for watching though, you're in on the ground floor ;)
One on the most truthful takes on this i've seen in a while, nice
After this video you've earned a sub from me. I dont care what people do or think as long as it doesnt hurt innocent people (pedos, killers, etc.) And the fact that you came out and talked about shit that could get you canceled and stood firmly on being anti censorship you're one of the few good ones out there in youtube land. Now please dont assault a child like so many other youtubers that did the whole "fake it til you make it" bullshit. Keep pushing the ever shrinking boundaries brother and I'll keep watching.
surprised that r/jailbait isn't on here
love your content man! keep doing it!
Thanks, will do!
25, female, and a virgin, but I choose to be this way because I am HORRIBLY anti social and scared of commitment.
So what does that make me?
Volcel? Voluntarily celibate?
Great video! This was a really interesting video to watch; keep up the good work!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I live in South Africa and use to be a shoplifter for 4 years before getting arrested, only did it from big malls and stuff like that, wouldn't have needed to do it if the government didn't steal our tax money, lol don't come for me
I was a member of a subreddit that got banned. I wasn't even a member that long when it got axed, and I'm still sad about it. It was a type of piracy subreddit, but only for books. I've got what can only be termed an _addiction_ to reading. It's basically my oxygen, maintaining sanity.
The Al Gore joke was great. You actually had me for a moment there too.
Great video, new subscriber here. I would like to say about the cp subreddit that got axed. You could only join if you were a parent or teacher which makes it extra sick.
I like certain aspects of reddit but i would not call myself a redditor because not only of the conatations that come with that.
The worst thing about the political pendulum is that it only goes two ways. 💀
That's the unfortunate reality of bipartisan politics. Third parties will almost never have the proper backing or will typically be chased out of governmental positions because people can only see in black and white. Hell, I'm guilty of falling into that trap myself pretty often, but that doesn't mean I like being pushed into thinking this way by people who like to argue but aren't smart enough to see the nuance in... literally anything.
“Penoid” has to be one of the funniest words I’ve heard in a while.
There's a quote in the movie Tombstone that a side character says, and it's how I feel. He originally sided with the outlaws though he wasn't really one himself, just a friend, until they took it too far. He hops on his horse and says to the leader, "I'm sorry, but we've got to have SOME law!" and rides off like a mic drop
Thank you for including some extreme left wing subreddits. I’m a huge leftist but I agree that both sides take it way too far, and a lot of people don’t include the fact that leftists can be just as bad as conservatives.
Yep I'm more right leaning I'd say and BOTH groups can be horrific!!!
Actually, I think maybe I'd be a bit of both.
Yeah but it seems only the right seems to commit mass murder on the regular
Piracy is not good, but let's recognize that is the only thing keeping shows like infinity train from completely disappearing off of the internet
I was on no new normal and a bunch of other subs of the ilk. The most surprising thing to me was that I got automatically banned on pretty much the entire mainstream side of Reddit because of commenting on NNN.
It happened on /r/WatchRedditDie and /r/The_Cabal too. And Discord also took down WatchRedditDie's server and banned everyone in it.
3:12 OMG this happened to one girl in my elementary school (probably middle school because our schooling system is called differently) and her classmate that did it got expelled
You can still visit these subreddits... it's called 4chan.
I'll laugh at Herman Caine all the long.
the chapo one is (mostly) just a list of the tightest shit I've heard in ages
This is the first of your videos that I’ve ever seen and you’ve won me over. Consider me subscribed!

I love how r/hungary2 formerly known as r/hungarybutbased is also banned and rightfully so, the sub r/hungary is, of course a Hungarian public life forum and is generally considered to be a liberal echochamber (this is debatable because I think it's more centrist to far left, so there are a variety of ideas outside of outright conservatism) and thus r/hu2 was created for the alt righters, but the thing is, a good chunk of their content was screenshotting posts from r/hu to "make fun of the libs" which was pretty gross, especially when they were making fun of people sharing their problems or asking for help
