Regarding art in social media, I think the strongest reason they unban her was because she’s a known person. I’m an artist and I love drawing nude drawings that are not necessarily sexual but artistic nudity. Not only do I get taken down after adding a warning but even when I make an appeal on less exposed images they still put the warning on my account saying they did nothing wrong. I moved to Twitter btw where now all my posts have a warning for nudity even the ones about something completely unrelated. If they went through the effort to put a warning on multiple posts on Instagram and my whole account on Twitter why can’t they read my appeals and understand there’s nothing wrong with DRAWN artistic nudity

She has a point, but other foolish people will eat their words up. I know this very well because my mother is one of those people. I also fell down that rabbit hole when I was younger, but thankfully growing up made me realize that I'm my own person and I make my own decisions.
The ‘rabbit hole’ then becomes the problem. If you click on even ONE video, it will then recommend another, and so on and so forth until it becomes an echo chamber that can seem unquestionable. And when the info you’re given to decide on what to click is only snippets; seconds, sentences, pictures, that aren’t necessarily noticeably different at first glance from everything else around it, it becomes easy for it to appear innocuous, legitimate, and much more clickable.
Without that part of it, it’s easy to wonder if some of these people would have ever found an audience.
Andrew tate claiming to be playing a character is basically backtracking and claiming, "It was just a prank, bro!"

Pretty sure there's more and it's disgusting that Instagram bans you for even simply mentioning "only fans" or "sugar daddy" (I made a rant on my story and had my account permanently suspended over "sexual solicitation"). They need to get their head out of their ass

When it comes to deplatforming far right political figures, it is absolutely vital.
The problem with these figures is that you can't simply "debate" them. It's not a coherent political ideology, rather it's a grift that gets sold to vulnerable, desperate, and downtrodden people to give them somebody to look down on. You can't logic somebody out of a position they didn't logic themselves into, and the far right primarily targets people who are too young to know any better or people who already believe in their ideology but don't feel comfortable saying it out loud.
By allowing them to have a platform, not only does it normalize their rhetoric (which is harmful to the targets of their hatred since they are far more willing to express it in public), but it generally also causes them to escalate. The amount of far right violence has drastically increased in the US over the years, even attempting to overthrow its democracy, and I don't think it's a coincidence that most platforms passive acceptance of their existence, in addition to a president that completely normalized their behavior on a national scale, coincides with this increase.
The reason why this gets singled out compared to a lot of other extremist ideologies is that you can be radical without necessarily advocating for violence. Radical simply just means you fall outside the bounds of normal political beliefs. The far right, and it's related ideologies, always result in violence because that is the end goal of the ideology. It is unique amongst radical ideologies, which is why we treat it differently.
So are you for removing far left figures due to the george floyd riots and anti white and anti police rhetoric? How about muslim youtubers who spew anti lgbt and anti women rhetoric. Or are you only going to go after the big bad angry white man... and you guys wonder why they are angry.

I have honestly never had an Instagram account nor have I ever had a Twitter account, tiktok account, Snapchat account, reddit account, or even Facebook account. Like the only social media I have is discord.
I can understand why a business would feel that a person who actively was discouraging use of the product isn't someone they wish to have access to it. However I can't say as I agree that banning him was the correct choice.
