- Twitter is notorious for frequently harboring some of the interents most mindlessly stupid content, as well as some of the internet's most stupid users. In this video I'm doing a deep dive into Twitter lore, to uncover some of the most astounding reasons why some Twitter users have been banned. From more recent examples such as Jordan Peterson, to a 10 year old suspension such as Burger King back in 2013, in this video, I'll teach you some of the most interesting, controversial, and most of all, terrible terminated twitter users.

I got banned from Twitter once, but I don't really know why. All I did was to post fan art (mostly related to Star Wars, and all of them were portraits, nothing NSFW, as I was a beginner artist). I didn't receive any email explaining which rule I broke, and I appealed numerous times, but only got empty emails in return or no response at all. That was about 5 years ago.
Man, my artworks must have been so bad, they felt abused only by looking at them.

The Jordan Peterson ban is so funny to me because Elliot Page didn't even say anything. It genuinely felt like some old man arguing and making response videos to no one except some angry teenagers on Twitter. Genuine absurdity.

I remember some kid got my account suspended for a few minutes (YES ONLY A FEW MINUTES IT WAS WEIRD) over me not doing free art for him and he did it by scrolling through all of my tweets, finding a tweet that had me saying a swear and abusing the report system. People can do that aparently, but ever since that day a few years ago i havent had a problem since, just twitter sending me messages being like "some idiot is trying to report you but we didnt find this offensive."
and the tweets where i swear is usually in a way where its not in any form of harassment or in a bad way anyhow

I use twitter a lot. One time I was cancelled because a mutual of mine accidentally misgendered another mutual of mine. The 2nd mutual then sent the 1st one gore so the 1st one didnt apologize. I was cancelled because I was offline

i actually like twitter. Mostly because my feeds are filled with Cats, Dogs, Bayern, artist bots sharing old art, liminal spaces, old funny/weird newspaper clippings, etc and i stay as far away from political news as possible. Ofc it will appear but i just ignore it. So like this, i have a twitter bubble and so i like using it.
The reason Twitter is so problematic is because people treat it as a conversation as if it is happening with folks in person, which in itself isn't the issue. The problems start when people forget that when you say something stupid in person your words almost never carry repercussions because after you say the stupid thing it just floats off into the universe and vanishes, where on Twitter your nonsense is preserved in perpetuity and can be scrutinized 10 years later. Just my theory though, could be wrong.
That's what concerns me the most about Twitter is how casual they are about the most depraved topics like it's normal and sometimes downplaying these sorts of things to an alarming extent. Especially when they reply to Tweets with memes/gifs to display their reaction.
There's also the fact lwnjs/sjws ruin it for everyone and should be banned.

I banned myself from twitter when I realised how much fuckwittery and stupidity is going down over there....
When me and my family are going to Nigeria in December of 2021, I had to install a VPN to access site because it block site that I used in my day to day routines. While yes, I managed to use Twitter in Nigeria, but here's one problem, the internet is bad that I can't even used at night. But to make it even worse, my dad had the power generator, when turned off, the lights goes off including the wifi.
I used it spanning from December 19, 2021 to January 6/7 in the following year. I do love it got lifted, but man, it's a wild ride.

Sorry, but need to correct your statement on chicken pox. When you are infected with the virus first, you get chicken pox. The virus however stays in your nerve cells, specifically in the spine. The virus is reactivated and presents itself as shingles. Where the inflammation and rash appear is dependent on the vertebrae where the virus was dormant.
Anyone who has naturally been infected with chicken pox has a chance of getting shingles. A vaccine for chicken pox exists therefore preventing initial dormancy of the virus. A shingles vaccine can be given to older people.
The reason for having a 'pox party' is that chicken pox usually presents worse symptoms the older you are. Adults can be very ill with it. Before the vaccine came out around the millennium, getting chicken pox as early as possible was typically best practice.

@@TheMouseAvenger I think it’s because there’s a lot of misandry in this day and age. Men are seen as the “bad gender” and so trans men are often told that their existence is bad or a mistake or that they don’t know who they are (speaking from personal experience).

I was suspended from Twitter twice - once for posting a scammer’s phone number (it was a phone call that my husband had gotten from someone, with a thick Indian accent, claiming to be from Amazon), and I said if anyone gets a call from that number to report it; the scammer actually reported the tweet. The second time I was suspended was from a Tweet from December 20, 2020 when I said that those who committed treason should go in front of a firing squad as it says in The Constitution, and I was suspended 3 years AFTER I wrote that Tweet.
I watch what I say now since I have 2,100 followers. I know..not a lot of followers, but a lot more than what I had back in 2020.

Shingles *sucks* and I was vaccinated against chicken pox. I got shingles this year and the doctors said I probably got it at some point without the rash (and since I was always sick as a kid, it makes sense) and I still have the nerve damage from the shingles
Something like that happened to my mom. She thought she had never had chicken pox, but she got shingles anyway.

Honestly, I kind of miss Jordan Peterson's account. Not because I agree with him, he's an idiot and basically anybody who agrees with his positions is walking around with more red flags than a Chinese parade, but because he's basically the "old man yells at cloud" meme in real life. like, with Elliot Paige and that one sports illustrated model he will literally just say the first thing that pops into his head, get ratio, then retreat into his shell like that turtle from over the hedge. It's an incredibly funny cycle to watch. It's slightly less funny that people take him seriously.
