200 to 300 pages is the perfect length for a book. Dark Horse is putting out great books as of late.
I have many Dark Horse collection, yes, a wonderful book / comic company. Really glad they are bringing these out in paperback format as well. My favourites, which I have yet to do a review of, are books by the best artist ever, Dave McKean such as Raptor etc
Must admit I think 200 to 300 is about right, when it gets to 500 or 600 I seem to take ages and ages to finish a book and I have lots of 1,200 pages still to finish. When I was younger, would go through 5 or 6 novels a day, really can't do that any more

Nice review Andrew these are great books well worth the admission price as they say, I am in the would prefer the original colouring gang but there is no doubt that these are quality reprints.
Yes, I would prefer the original colouring but happy enough with the modern format. I wonder what they will be coloured like in 50 years time (not that I will be buying a copy of that !!). I have lots of books with the original printings / colours and they are always fine but I guess they feel this sells it best. Of all the versions, I like the Russ Cochran boxsets (not that I have the Vault or Tales in those as they are very expensive), never have an issue with the b&W (as with the Artisans)

I didn't realize these were being published in paperback. After watching your video I ordered a copy of this Vault of Horror reprint. I hope they reprint the Weird Science-Fantasy comics in this affordable edition.
I will probably get that as well, though I have those in the superb RC boxsets. The only ones I don't have are the horror ones as those boxsets are expensive and I missed out (for some reason) on buying the HBs. The paperback versions are fine though, same quality but at a very good price and less heavy on the shelves

I have a few Hardcovers of DarkHorse, but the inflation in my country is high, and they are so expensive. Nice to see the paperbacks are so good, and cheaper, so finally I can finish the collection.
Yes, I was pleased when they brought out the paperbacks as well, wish they would do that with many other series as much as I love the Hardback volumes, the softcover ones are so much cheaper and also a little lighter on the shelving
I just bought the Tales from the Crypt paperback they just released. I was looking at this collection as well.
I would’ve loved to catch these in Hardcover if they were a bit cheaper but I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of these paperbacks just Wonderful.
So moody and atmospheric just classic stuff.

thank you. I had a few of them when they first came out but I sold them (regrettably) so I was pleased to see them release it in this format, also they are a little lighter on the shelves. As much as I love hardback books, these paperbacks are easier to store. In some ways, prefer this format and not just because they are cheaper.
@@AndrewBuckleBookReviews yeah this is my first foray into EC Comics. I’ve always wanted to read them so I delighted when my TftC volume came in last week. Classic
And I love paperback for leisurely reading. I love omnibuses and oversized hardcovers but sometimes those can be so heavy it isn’t the most conducive to easy reading 😂

Do you know if Dark Horse plan to reprint everything related to EC in paperback? I emailed them a couple of months ago and still haven't received a response.
No idea either, I hope so but I can't say. There is only one other PB listed yet to be released
