great explanation and video
this helped alot 👍
The Polini nozzles you use in the video are super good, the reason they are made a bit shorter is something to do, so they do not suck the water up so quickly from the sump in the carburetor, if there should be something ...
(I read this somewhere on the web)
I do not know if it is true, but I have tried it, by having a little bit of water in the carburetor and the original nozzle in the carburetor could not really run with it, but then I put polini Nozzle in so it could actually run better,. ..
good video you make ...
the scooter you are working on is very reminiscent of the most sold scooter in Denmark the name we call is "PGO Hot50"
Thanks for all the information, I will add the name to the tag for the video
U the men 👍👍
Thanks, And thanks for watching
Excellent
Thx
Will these work on a stock 1989 Yamaha zuma 50
You think ima gonna have any problems I have a bws and I'm getting a 70cc big bore and I do not have a air box I have a big stage 6 airfilter you think that's gonna make it so I wouldn't have too do as much it's a race air filter
Hello. What main jet for honda crm big bore 70cc 2 stroke ( 19mm carburettor, stock air box, exhaust & c.d.i)
I would go 2 sizes up and either get an aftermarket k&n style airfilter or remove the snorkel from the stock one all about messing around with it and seeing what works
What scooters have a compatible expansion exhaust that will fit the eton beamer?
Yamaha jog and many others
@@ProblemSolverGarage thanks
What roller weights and size do you use
I can’t remember, it all depends on your weight and stuff, You just keep switching them till they feel right
Question? Did you rejet after the break-in period or before?
Before, Basically right away after I put it together
But better now than never
so I have the exact same scooter except mine is a beamer matrix has the same Polini kit installed but I haven't installed an exhaust yet still stock as well as the carburetor have been trying different jets been trying to tune the carb only way it runs really good is with a pod filter tried the 88 jet and played with the carb and bogs and barely moves any suggestions?
Sorry not too sure, maybe your pilot jet is clogged
Did you get any power increase
No
Before talking about jet , what about carburettor size...... ???????????????????????????
Stock carburetter is what I have
@@ProblemSolverGarage hi is it a 12mm carburettor cos I was thinking of putting a 17.5 mm one on and do you think the same size jet would be okay in my 1992 Yamaha bws will have a Leo Vince tt exhaust thank's
@@leefreydanck9377 its a 17.5mm Keihn stock
why should I use the stock air filter ?
To keep the inside of your engine clean, you don’t want dust and small rocks going into your piston, does cheap aftermarket air filters let everything through
@@ProblemSolverGarage I have a gilera runner sp 50. I put a naraku 70cc cylinder kit with the stock head and stock carb. The scooter had a 75 main jet. When I unscrewed the stock filter it was running better. So I removed the stock one and put a small aftermarket one and changed to 85 main jet. But since I putted the 70cc kit the spark plugs gο bad. When I change spark plug it runs perfect for about 5 days, then I start losing power. What should I do ?
If your scooter is running better with the stock airbox removed that means you are running to Rich, you’re getting too much fuel you need to put a smaller jet on. that should fix your spark plug problem, if your spark plug is still clogging up after that put in a spark plug that’s one number higher in heat rating
@@ProblemSolverGarage But How is it possible that with 50cc cylinder 75 jet is okay and with 70cc it is too big ?
What was your factory jet?
ok guys!!
Lol
Isent this a cpi engine ??
Cpi and minarelli are really diffrent kind of engine's.
alote of parts are diffrent and wont fit each other.
Also cpi use gurtner carb while mina hor use dellorto.
I had cpi engine on my f12r its really difrent then my beta ark yamaha earox old f12 and firefox f15 and my sr50.
Ive put a minarelli cillinder on my f12r but the exhaust would not fit any more its because the cillinder boulds are in a difrent position so you have to use a minarelli exhaust then.
Also clutch on the cpi engine is 110mm while mina hor is 107mm and mina ver is 105mm
Variateur of a mina would not fit in the cpi engine difrent size.
Gearing is also complete difrent.
So i would never go as far as to say its the same engine.
Its more of a look a like knock off version of minarelli.
not saying the engine is bad cause its not its actually a decent engine and there plenty of parts for it.
this helped alot 👍
