Sorry we took so long, Life gets in the way. Glad to see you back🙋
wich jet should i use on a stock gilera typhoon to make it a little bit faster? Do i have to upgrade anything else like rollers ou something?
You need to add go fast parts to go faster. Such as exhaust or transmission.
Hi, I have a MBK Booster 100 with malossi variator, malossi sponge inside the original airbox and the carburator it's the original mikuni 19 with 75 main jet, I need to change it?
Increase the jet so the engine splutters when throttled and then lower the jet as required, to clean the carburettion.
Hello, i have an SR50R with an Extra Giannelli V2 exhaust, if I change my exhaust to for example Yasuni R, will I need to change the jetting?
The general rule is yes, you must tune the fuel system and the transmission for each change or addition to the engine.
hello, i have a gilera stalker.. with what jet should i start with the sport malossi 70cc, 17,5 dellorto and yasuni r, a lot of friends told me to start with 100..
Yes the 100 is ok, I would start with the 94. If you have a POD filter start with 120.
what could the problem be if the engine sputters at wide open and at low rpms but works perfectly at 3/4 throttle. just installed a new carb so i know it needs some adjusting but what should i adjust or change
Start with the jet, as a trick crack the air box cover and have a slight opening to allow more air in. Give it a rev and see if it clears this issue and then you know it is rich, jet down 1. Or you can be over capacity of the cylinder.
I have Zip 50cc 2t - with a gianelli exhaust and with the idle screw all the way in I still can't get the idle speed high enough.... should I go up one pilot jet to gain a better range of idle speed?
This can be very difficult to diagnose! Try everything.
I have a 2020 aprilia sr50 mods: yasuni z, malossi 4.7 rollers, do i need a 60 or 62 jet or am i fine with the stock jet, and if i put 62 jet do i need to mod my airbox or maybe get a malossi sponge
Try the 62 and adjust it required.
Hi I also have a SR50R. Stock 17.5 Dellorto ID Carb. What I changed on thr Carb is: A7 Needle (clip at second lowest), Mainjet 68 and Secondaryjet 36.
- Stock Airbox with removed snorkel
- Malossi Airfilter sponge
- open Exhaust Manifold with stock exhaust.
My Problem is, that when I ride it feels like it's to rich. But the sparkplug is nice brown. And also when i am full throttle - let of for 1~2 seconds and go back full throttel it doesn't respond for a split second. Like it doesn't have patrol.
It doesn't make sense.... Do you have a good tip? 😅
It sounds rich!
What rollers and spring would you recommend on a sr50r with yasuni r and malossi variator
Yellow Polini Clutch spring set, 7.2 gram rollers. 56 main jet.
7,2 g rollers? isn't that too much for 50cc?@@scooterstreetau
Hello Sir, do you have the stock foam on the stock filtr?
Yes we do. scooterstreet.com.au
I mean on the video, you are using the 95 jet whit stock airbox and stock filter?
@@Prasowkasportowaa This scooter is not the standard condition it has many upgrades. The concept for the video is how to change the main jet and that alone.
hi, i got a derbi atlantis 2011, im getting a leovince handmade tt and derestricting it. i was wondering what main jet size i should start with? stock airbox with malossi air filter inside
What a great design scooter! It is like a big brother to the ZIP. I ike it.
I would start with the 66 jet, make sure the scooter is riding perfect before you touch it with any tools..then get the mods started.
@@scooterstreetau yes it is quite a nice scooter. it is running perfect now, fixed a bogging issue that had to do with an air leak. well thanks man! 66 jet it is.
You should trail different rllers and also fit a clutch or tighter springa at the least, all the best.@@hoecakeee1
@@scooterstreetau yeah im ordering some 5.7, 5.5 and 5.3g rollers. will see if i need lighter/heavier. clutch is gonna have to wait a bit til i get more money. cheers!
The clutch springs will have the greatest effect on the accleration and building RPM.@@hoecakeee1
Hey, I have a SRMT50cc ant the mods are : Leo vince TT exhaust, 4.8 g rollers, red springs and a malossi air filter. What size jet should I use?
Change the jet once the engine is warm, increase jet so the carburetion is spluttery then jet down until it cleans up when throttling.
@@scooterstreetau yeah but what size jet should I use?
@@scooterstreetau change the jet to what size?
@@aiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii what is the current size?
@@aiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii what size is in now?
Hello how do i know my main jets number?
The number is printed on the head or side of the jet, very small print.
Hi, I bought a used yamaha neos mbk ovetto 50cc with a top speed of 70 kmh i put a gianelli extra ehxaust and malossi variator with 7.0 g rollers and the top speed didnt change at all, and it also starts at a very low rpm and when i reach 10-20 then it really starts to pull maybe changing the clutch springs will fix that? And as for the jett i dont really know what i got what do u recommend i put?
I can't really comment as I have no history of issues or tuning, but I can say I agree with you, these upgrades should increase the power and speed.
@@scooterstreetau hmm maybe thats the max speed a stock 50cc cylinder can get? But still love your videos bro im learning alot!
you would seek at least 75kph, check the exhaust for restrictions.@@DinoDL756
