This was the best valve adjustment tutorial I've ever seen. Even a beginner should be able to follow this instruction, due to clear video and easy pace. Good Job!
This was helpful, thanks! Hardest part for me was getting the feel of the gauges. The slightest tilt makes a huge difference in feel. But, the car still runs, maybe a little smoother, but it did fix a rough start that I wasn’t even hoping for! 💪🏻
awesome video. great job. it's very helpful. i wished you live nearby, l would definitely hire you to help me get my element back to decent running condition. thanks for your videos
Man, you are a life-saver and inspiration! Thank you for these extremely informative videos! Just got my first Element and this valve adjustment is due for me soon. I have a rear door that won't actuate/open and would love to see someone like you tackle that because I have yet to see someone do a tutorial on it while in that situation but I understanf it is common. I'm fearing handling it.
Same year same color, thank you for posting this im at 140k and have been looking for this info for weeks.....low idle issue warm....... any other advice you might have i would appreciate.... thank again.
That was a great video. Well done. What do you think about replacing the spark plug gaskets also? How about the proper torque for the valve adjustments nuts? It looks like you just snugged them up.
The cam lobe pointing up isn't top dead center. Using the timing gear markings for TDC, the lobes will point toward the top of the spark plug tube. Will this cause problems of done your way?
This is the best video for this procedure. 10 out of 10. Thanks!!!

Alright, I'm back and will be here for the duration. Thanks for the video
My friend, this is the only video I've found that explains that you need to get to TDC on intake AND exhaust before adjusting. Thank you so much.
Good video. very well explained and shown. Imo this video is better the Eric the car guy valve adjustment video.
