Great video! I watched the other video where you di the repairs and sold it. Love being able to see the entire process of changing various parts. I used to have a 2003 element but sold it to a friend. Now, I recently purchased a 2008 element in excellent condition with 162k kms. Excited to be back in my Element! LOL that ending... 😂. Thanks for making the video brother!
15:58 You're not supposed to use anti-seize compound on the ball joint taper. However, I still do it and all I do is wipe a thin film on the inside (much less than what you did); a little his a long way. The problem with the anti-seize is that the taper may not "grab" when you torque down the castle nut. 50/50 chance.
Are you a mechanic by trade or did you just learn how to specifically work on these cars? I want to learn how to fix one myself if I end up getting one! Glad I found your channel.
Dude this was a great video. I would definitely buy my next Element from you. You do all this work before selling an Element?? My Element vibrates a little while accelerating. After watching your video I am thinking it is the axle. Unfortunately I am not a mechanic so I need to find me a trusty person, though I don’t trust any of the locals to work on my car. Do you work on others? Awesome Video….Keep up the great work. By the way…I met you at the dragon.
I just bought an 03 with high miles, engine runs great, however I’m not sure if the transmission fluid has been regularly changed or not and not certain if I should just leave it alone at this point or go ahead and drain and fill with new fluid
New subscriber. I'm not an Element owner (yet), but your refurbishing videos are great. Do you run into bad engine or trans mounts often. Your opinion on manual vs auto trans pros/cons? AWD mpg vs FWD?
Your from New York? Where are you located? I'm in Buffalo? Would love to know what you would charge to do my Valve Adjustment. I don't trust myself to do it. I just recently bought a 03 Element a month ago and have been having nothing but problems with mine 240k. I know it needs it. I just don't trust myself to do it.

I appreciate how you keep it real and treat it as a hobby and not a full time job, admitting the hourly labor rate would prohibit that!
That was awesome. Thank you for the journey
Earned a subscription from me. Thanks for the hard work and video editing. Good stuff! 🔧
Thanks for making the video!
