Yeah man I'm from Puerto Rico currently living here and there is a lot of mirages,Hondas,rotaries you name it,but legends like this is very rare in this island but you can still find them,btw even I would love to race to you. I got a 2002 mustang gt cobra convertion,makes 680 on pump gas low boost and 720 on e85 high boost. Love your vids!!!

The motor is on borrowed time. Evo 3 pistons are glass. I have an jdm evo 2 in the USA, the motor started blowing smoke and compresssion out of the dipstick. Tore it down and the ringlands were cracked. For some reason my evo 2 has a split thrust bearing design and evo 3 pistons. I’m assuming it was a replacement motor from Mitsubishi. As I was saying, with the evo 3 pistons you need to keep the timing lower than any other 4g63.
I was monitoring my afr’s, they were good. I have been a dsm guy since 2001 and self tune my cars. Using my dsm knowledge I figured 18 psi would be fine and I wouldn’t have to monitor knock. Turns out my car had glass evo 3 pistons and the evo 2 timing map is a little more aggressive. Either way, the motor is built and ready to go in. It should be quite the little beast on an evo 3 16g

I think you mean blow-off valve. Lol the wastegate is internal I'm pretty sure.

The daily advise today was kinda interesting. Today my coworker got mad at me because I don't want to hang out with him or drive him to work. I don't do these things because he showes up to work high, drinks during his lunch, then tries to pick fights with everyone all day. Maybe I'm just being judgemental by not wanting to let him drive forklifts/heavy power equipment near me or customer vehicles
The GC8 and The EVO gotta be my favorite cars on the channel so far! I got a stock 03 WRX that has cost me enough to fix that I could've bought a cool GC8. One of my favorite car channels on UA-cam keep it up Evan!

Just watched the Evo 3 tuning video and the factory heater core hoses are notorious for blowing ... My 91 TSI Talon did that after I tuned it ... I replaced a bunch of hoses but the 2 heater ones I left and one going to the TB and the one to the TB burst when I reved it out to 7k lol 🤣 ... I miss that car too 😔

Idk if this was a problem you had or not it seemed like it a little, but when adjusting boost on your MBC, I’ve had problems in the past with not having a strong enough spring to hold the pressure, so every turn I did it would not raise to where I wanted it to. Once I put a stiffer spring 1 turn would equal some where close to 2-3 psi

Copper plugs work best with the stock coil packs because copper is one of the best conductors. I like ngk br7es I've made 25psi on a gt3582r on my 1g DSM With them.

Sparktech do a really good plug and play coil on plug setup. My Evo 2 gained a lot of low RPM stability and never broke up at the top end. Money well spent 👌

If the motor goes just do a 6 bolt swap, according to forums they came oem with wiesco pistons and rods
