Americans don't appreciate Jeff Lynne enough. Jeff is an absolute musical magician. His voice, his writing, his mastery of sound... Thanks Jeff. I grew up with ELO and your various projects. Im a better and more musical person because of what you taught me when listening to your works.
I beg to differ. I've been a lifetime fan. Funny enough a young generation is appreciating ELO from the Guardians of the Galaxy. Better late than never I suppose.

Jeff Lynne, what a beautiful person inside and out, I’m a fairly recent fan, love his voice and guitar work and all his involvement in ELO and the Travelling Willburys,
Jeff Lynne is so humble, in my eyes probably the best musician in the world! He has every base covered im so grateful I grew up with ELO they were always there when I needed them the most. The music got me through so many changes in life! God Bless and peace on earth!
I've always loved Jeff Lynn going all the way back to ELO! He is one of the most talented guys walking the Earth. He plays so many different instruments, has produced so many fantastic albums! No wonder him and George we're best friends!
I think George’s singing on “Handle with Care” is the best of his career. He said in an interview that Jeff Lynn had such a good voice that he (George) was inspired to sing his very best for the Wilburys. Not to mention that Roy Orbison was there too.
@@happyhorse1028 If I recall correctly, Jeff and George were together to record a B-side for one of George's singles off of Cloud Nine. George didn't know what they were going to record, but got the idea for a song when he saw a box, which said "Handle With Care".
That made me get a bit weepy. It's always a joy to watch a Jeff Lynne interview. I can always picture him as a small kid. Meaning he still seems to have an innocence and humbleness about him. Thanks for all of the gorgeous music Jeff!
When you get right down to it, George Harrison was the humblest Beatle, always ready to give; Jeff Lynne is so tremendously multifaceted. Even Macca complimented him once.
Jeff Lynne is so talented and modest at the same time. The best overall musician we have ever known said Tom Petty, Joe Walsh, George Harrison and so many other Music Legends...
Petty said that at Jeff's Hollywood Walk of Fame Induction Ceremony speech, it's on UA-cam. I'm not aware of Harrison or Walsh saying it--although we obviously know they hold Jeff in very high esteem. Please provide links to Harrison and Walsh saying it. And you also said many other music legends have said it about Jeff. Who?
Jeff said on a radio interview that someone gave george his number, so george rings him up asking him to help with his next album. Jeff answers thinking his mates are messing with him, so he says yea right go piss off. George called right back to tell him it was really him. So funny.

Awesome people and beautiful friends. And previously Jeff asks George to call Bob Dylan to join the 'Travelling Wilbury's', George being shy he did and the Travelling Wilbury's were created. I think the reason George had such a bond with Jeff was that in the Beatle days George was the engineer of the Beatles. His Guitar skills were always drawn in by both Paul and John! After the Beatles split both Lennon and McCarney wanted George to be their backup guitarist and many years later in life born in the same town as George I realised that George was the 'Engineer' of the Beatles.
Jeff Lynne is the most talented Music God ever. He will be 71 in 2018 and his voice is Gold. All his live concerts sound as good if not better than the original recordings...Not many bands and musicians can match that. Just have a listen from Jeff Lynne's ELO at Wembley Stadium June 24 2017... Can't wait to see Jeff Lynne's ELO on the 2018 Europe and North American Tour. When these guys were young, particularly Harrison, George Formby was a huge star in England with his banjo uke. George was a passionate collector of ukuleles. I have a friend who worked for Mandolin Brothers in New York years ago when Harrison came in one day, just by himself, and played several ukes, buying a couple. No big deal, just a Beatle in the freaking store! Banjo ukes are just what they sound like - banjos tuned like ukuleles.
Jeff , with a wall of gold and platinum records behind him , being a bit uneasy going to George’s spread to play ukulele’s . 🤣 I have a friend -Chris Trapper -who is one of the greatest ukulele players ! RIP George , sorely missed.

Fascinating how at the end of the video, how intently George was looking at Jeff’s face as he played, I assume to get some visual feedback to what he was playing.

He is a mega talent
There's something absolutely endearing about a musical genius like Jeff Lynne
being star struck by another musician.
Jeff is one of the few "secret sauce" guys in the history of rock. The public in general is probably not aware of him but musicians certainly are.
Absolutely. He's the go-to-man if you need someone to work on your music, and get it done properly. He's one of my favourite musicians

Jeff Lynne is the most humble musician that ever existed. 🙏
