This has always been god tier, when it comes to superbands! I'll never get tired of listening to Traveling Wilburys. Every time I do, it makes me do a deep dive into Jeff Lynne's, Bob Dylan's, Roy Orbison's, Tom Petty's, and George Harrison's music all over again. Not a weak link in the bunch! It'll be a very sad day when Jeff Lynne and Bob Dylan have reached the end of the line.

Hell, Roy Orbison's empty chair plays better than most of the musicians today.
jacobsol80 😁😁👍🏼, good one...
Love it. Awesome music. 👍👏🕺💃❤❤👠👠 10+++++
Agreed, brother!
With no, absolute no doubt. 100% agree with you sir!
jacobsol80 sho got dat right !! 😎
If you want to see Roy in his chair, just close your eyes.😊
RIP, George, Roy and Tom...
Keep that chair rocking for Roy this song is amazing I can listen to this all day long hope you are still playing in heaven George Tom & Roy ❤
Jim Keltner is considered to be one of the studio drummers in the business. He deserves some recognition for being part of this amazing group.
It was just a production oversight. He gets credited in the description above. Thanks for your comment though.
George, how many songs you would give us. Rest in peace and make some good songs in heaven...
Sadly their history was way to short ....The Greatest Super Group ever....
This is the definitive "supergroup" no one even comes close,
I loved this song for 20 years. When I turned 80, it took on a whole new meaning.😅
❤❤
Just a group of guys who already had it all but just wanted to jam and make music cause that’s what they loved. Never gonna have a band like this again.
You're spot on mate, nice one
That's precisely why the tune is so true, clean, and easy not to mention simply pleasing there's nothing forced or missing . Music for the sake of music . RIP Roy, George, and Tom your voices will never be silent and continue to bring joy to us all
What a great group of fabulous musicians! Love them all!
So sad watching the chair rockin
My kind of supergroup....this is what happens when you put together the best musicians of our time
Best of all time in totality. No one held back (George, Beatles), just everyone sharing their gifts to us. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
A tear almost always appears when I see the guitar in the chair. What a group this was. R I P Tom, George and Roy.
Such amazing talent. 3 sadly gone, but none ever forgotten. Thanks guys, your music will live forever.
There will never be another group like them. Too bad.
RIP Roy, George & Tom. These are just a bunch of guys loving what they do. Making MUSIC.
This has to be one of the all time greatest songs of eternity. You know Heavens just waiting for these guys to headline one day!!
RIP George,Roy and Tom. Tom passing broke my heart. When I was in high school there was a guy looked like TP, his name was Tom too. Always high and wearing sunglasses. When you told him hi Tom, he always responded by saying "hey dude". Then revolution happened, and everything went south. Here, not as much and back home which at the beginning was beautiful but turned into a nightmare. You felt stranded and your country was in hand of aliens. It was gone.
Then came TP song "refugee" that song kept me and alot of my friends going. Thanks Tom me and the boys will miss you. 😢
I never tire of hearing and watching this ❤it
Best super group ever! RIP Roy, George and Tom. 🙏
There's more talent in this lineup than the whole world of music today....R.I.P. guys, a race well run. THANKS,.. from us left behind here!
I WAS IN COUNTRY MUSIC BUSINESS FOR FORTY YEARS FIRST AS A ROADIE AND RETIRED ON THE BOOKING END, From the 60 to the 90s and beyond I saw the greats worked for some of them and in no way can the glitter boys in Nashville get as good as the ones who came before them, NASHVILLE is now all about the glitter the sex and having know talent, Any producer or engineer can take any know talent cant pick or sing and make a superstar out of them if they got the sexy ass male or female and they don't mind giving it up for the stardom.
What stars make together!
No egos, just letting the music play!
Para toda la gente buena del mundo hoy sobre todo para vosotros
Those dreams made true by shinning stars. Just jammin', success garanteed!
Such a supergroup...will never find a better one!!! 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
You look at these absolute legends (sadly without Roy), & they just seem to simply enjoy playing with each other. Not even realizing, or caring, what great! music they were creating! What fun they must’ve had; no pressure, just doing what they loved.
RIP Roy, George, and Tom, forever.
The love and happy just radiates soooo much. You know Heavens gonna be poppin when they all heafline at the end of the line!!! With some special stars joining in!!!
A group of the best musicians in the world ☝️☝️👍👍🙏🙏
5 Out of this world Super Stars with well-earned EGOS enjoying being with each other and singing their hearts out. So very well done.
I am 71 just and these songs will meaning
Real music by real musicians ❤
Exactly!
I love how theyhonor ROy in this.
Think we forget ,we won’t.
Such good music. You can listen to them all day.
A track that should never end. I could listen and sing along to this all day. Perfection.
In memory of Roy Orbison, George Harrison, and Tom Petty. Their music lives forever with this wonderful song.
RIP...
Absolutely! It is a heartwarming reminder.
Near the end of the video if you watch Tom Petty he switches from playing his Bass from right handed to left handed for only a short period of time, that is hard to do because everything is backwards as far as the strings go. Shows just how great he was! Rip Tom, George and Roy you will be missed!
Hi.. It was a production error. The video was flipped by mistake but had too many views to take down and correct. It does say the video has some errors in the description. But thanks for your comment 🙂
@@DeanoEssex Thank you but mistakes are no big deal this is a great song and I love it I would love to get the download of it but cannot find the long version anywhere.
@@moe3754 You can download it with an app called "Media Human" It's a great little app. The trial allows you 20 free downloads from You Tube. You can download MP4 or MP3 it's up to you. That way you will have the full extended version of this song 🙂
I have no idea how the five of them got together but I am so happy they did.
We will will never see the like’s again.
Hasn’t been that much talent in one room since Roy sang solo
Bob Dylan is still with us too , don’t forget that. Legendary group
Roy Orbison shows up as a guitar on the rocking chair. What an incredible tribute.
I sure love the Traveling Wilburys, I really miss their music... and I sure miss George Harrison, Roy Orbison, and Tom Petty... So sad they left us... The song is especially good some good advice for us still here.
It's in situations like this that make you realise that George Harrison could hack it with the very, very best and was seriously under-utilised as a mere "Beatle"...
How.rite.ur
There isn’t enough money in the world to pay these five musicians ,they’ll forgotten more about music than all the so called musicians of today will ever know. God bless em 👍👍
Don't think there will ever be another collaboration of this magnitude of music geniuses
What a fun , kind-hearted & happy song . 😅
Never ever tire of this - never will, ever
Jeff Lynn is criminally under appreciated
I love the empty chair for Roy. That was a very nice touch.
I want to meet Jeff Lynne. It’s on my bucket list. Can anyone help me. Xx🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
Love them ❤️ 5 guys who made big in the music industry, all smiling and enjoying each other with nothing to prove 🥲🥲 sadly Roy and George have gone jamming elsewhere ❤️🥰
Tom too(my personal favorite). That one was the toughest on me.
Shortly after George and Roy passed away, Tom Petty joined them in Rock and Roll heaven. 💖💖💖
Never again will we see such an outstanding collaboration of talent that we will never see again and now that most of them have passed away there really is a Rock N' Roll Heaven🎼!
You know when the last one Goes Heaven is gonna be poppin with Jerry Garcia and Hendricks and Bob Dylan and Jefferon airplane and Jimi Hendrix all guest starring as the Traveling Wilburys with Diana Ross, Aretha on those backup vocals!!!
@Chris Stowell u never got back to me
What an iconic song with some of the most iconic musicians ever. RIP Tom, Roy and George.
How are you? so sorry for the infringe on your privacy. Beautiful song.
It sad that great musicians have to die. They look like this is pure enjoyment for them. They're playing this great music to make people happy.
Roy's guitar in the rocking chair, he was the first to go then George and then Tom .
And fantastic musicians with no ego's
@@kengriffin7586 They had egos, just reasonable egos.
at the end of the line...………….RIP yall
Nothing was better, nothing will be better
that made me happy. and sad. RIP George, Roy and Tom
And Jeff Lynne.
What an incredible bunch of talent...
What a perfect tune, rhythm, lyrics, everything. It all fits in so perfectly. Everytime I come across this song, which is once every few months on UA-cam, I think to myself - what a perfect song, what a masterpiece
Tom Petty is Mr. COOL !!!!!! Luv him !!!! Thumbs up if you agree. MR. CALM. MR. COOL. MR. COLLECTED. YOUR THE MAN. They’re having such FUN FUN FUN, music takes you to another world.
David Simpson i regret not seeing Tom Petty in person.. I am such fan of Tom I had a mass said for him in our church. Our priest Fr, Kris’s is a big fan. I read when he died mike Campbell said he looked like angel.
If I get a dog I’m going to call him. PETTY. !!!!!!!!! Peace🌈
One more thing listen to the song “ Something good coming “. By Tom petty. It’s not well known,
But Father Kris’s and I think Tom Petty is singing about heaven. In fact I know he’s singing about heaven.
!!!!! 🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠
I was lucky enough to see Tom and the Heartbreakers in London in 87 when he was backing Dylan. Bob was pretty average that night but Tom owned the place. Happy days..
Kevin Duffy I,m a fan you but you were so lucky, like I said I had a church service for him that’s what kinda a fan I am. Love the song “something good coming”
Did you ever hear it. Not well known song, loves the way he smiles at end of video. Check it out.
Oh my what a super group can't get any better
A simple yet great song we can all identify with and hum or sing along.
I saw Roy Orbison 3 times in the 60s- early days. We saw so many groups back then. I’d take the old days of rock & Roll anytime.
I want this song played at my funeral.. So fitting.
"Maybe somewhere down the road a ways, you'll think of me and wonder how I am these days..."
All the time, Tom, all the time.
I've never seen such beautiful contentment on anyone ever before as you witness here with these wonderful friends...The Traveling Wilbury's are Awesome 💯😎!!!
And sadly 3 of them have reached the end of the line...RIP.. you are not forgotten!
RIP...
One of my favourite songs of all time.
Tom sings glad to be here. Happy to be alive. Sad . It’s all right, Tom. Your one cool, cat !!!!!! MUSIC CHEERS THE SOUL, Anyone agree?
There is no better song in a train!!
Good friends having a good time, no egos; just talented guys with utmost respect for one another. A true supergroup left us wishing for more.
George has a beautiful smile
RIP Roy Orbison, Tom Petty, and George Harrison
So sad this three is gone, far too soon.
thought I could watch this without tears- nope..
goodbye roy, goodbye george, goodbye tom !!!!!! , gone but never forgotten
RIP George Harrison, Roy Orbison and Tom Petty ✟
Three Down two left. Sad day for music!!!
❣️😢❣️
Tom sings I’m so glad to be here , happy to be alive. And he meant it. Fun fun fun their having. Rip, brothers. Jamming now in heaven.
George Harrison is the coolest rock star of them all.
I am so grateful that these guys were together in my lifetime have recorded all the tracks for my grandchildren so they can share when they are old enough
End of the line...for most of us , the end ...but for real artists...it's no goodbye...the fruits of your work will never die.....see you soon Roy,George and Tom.
I loved Tom Petty from the first time I heard him. Even though I missed the others of the band who went before him, when he passed? My heart broke, so sad. I really loved the man even tho I didn't know him personally. God bless him and his family. Just saying.
This is it. The best of the best.
Glad it was recorded before Roy's death. His voice is warm golden butter.
What a band. Can't be bettered, wish Roy was in that rocking chair. xxx
Tribute to Roy
One of the best album I ever owned, and heard. Would have loved to see them live.
I will always love the Traveling Wilburys !!! Thank GOD THE INTERNET KEEPS THEM ALIVE .. Thank you you tube !!!!!!!!!!!!
A Classic, that's all I say.
Great Track...! Great SUPER GROUP..!!! 🙂👍
No one had anything to prove. They were all so good. And it was like just a bunch of guys jammin
There is so much good feeling in this video it is almost overwhelming. In these days of such hostility and cattiness between artists, it is so refreshing to see a group of musicians whose by word could literally be 'harmony'.
Fabulous!! There will never be another supergroup like this one. The greatest! English and American coming together in love of the same kind of music and rocking it!
This is such a gift for us. Heartwarming to see and hear them together.
It's damn-near impossible to listen to this song just once.
I love the rocking chair with Roy Orbison's guitar in it.
A great tribute to him. Rest in peace Roy, George and Tom
how can anyone listen to this song and not want to move...oh the drummer, lol. it's always Jim Keltner...
George didn't get to sing much with the Beatles. DAMN Shame. Legend men at WORK. ❤ THANKS.
George did a whole lot of incredible shit after the Beatles; Look it up.
@@roberthadfield9291 NEVER said he didn't. I said with the Beatles not much singing.ed I think his best was with the Wilburys. Thanks.
Great song great band loved the travelling wilbury, s brilliant band, roy orbison my favourite singer
Sadly .missed
Of all the great humans, Roy was one of the greats. Miss him and the others now.
Probably you've seen Black and White Night with Roy Orbison???? ohhhh...myyyy! GREAT performance!
I love these guys so much! They are so humble, but very talented. They have so much fun together. I think they may smoke a little weed, which is alright too. It is a shame some of them passed away. We all have to go, just don't know when. R.I.P. Roy, George, and Tom. You are deeply loved and missed. You will never be forgotten.
Tom's voice is singular.
One of the greatest healing songs ever made.
Spot on I'm 73 and love the song 🎵 xx
