You guys taught me really good. I use all the ingredients you talked about in the correct order and timing because I learned it from your previous videos. Thank YOU
Few weeks ago after I watch one of the videos where Dr. Shaw talks about the Versed mask, and pointed out the Dewy skin of afterwards, I had to try it, and I finished that mask a wk ago, and I have to say it’s amazing. I will definitely continue to buy it for a very long long time.
Pretty much my routine🙂Morning :cream cleanser+Vit c serum+ moisturiser+spf, Evening:cream cleanserx2+retinoid+Moisturiser or cleanser+lactic acid+ moisturiser(3days retinoid,then lactic acid, 2xretinoid, then lactic acid).
I’ve recently started using retinol and am still in the stage of building up my tolerance. Thanks to your other video, I haven’t experienced any irritation. I have since started adding in vitamin c also. I can already tell a difference in texture and a little more radiance. Hopefully will see some pigment improvement aswell. The idea of Chemical peels still freak me out 😂
Hi, just wanted to say thank you! Your videos are very informative and you guys thought me a lot. I am known to be a skincare girly and it wouldn't be possible without you guys:) btw listening to your videos while getting ready in the morning is like the most relaxing thing ever
Between Doctorly and Dr. Dray my skincare routine was made oh so simple. It can get extremely confusing with all of these products on the market that seem to do the same thing. When I see influencers that show their skincare routine and they use 12 products I'm like " you need to watch Doctorly and keep it simple."
My favorite doctors!! As always, very informative and super helpful. I suffer from uneven skin tone and with such sensitive skin its hard for me to find something to even out my skin without causing irritation. Thanks so much.
Now I know I’m a skin nerd. The ingredient routine you laid out here is what I just got done finalizing for myself before I watched this video. The only thing I’m going to change is my morning cleanser. I was using Pacifica’s kale detox cleanser, but I’ve heard other dermatologists on UA-cam say that the morning cleanse is optional. I have generally oily skin and I’m 56. My skin does better with a morning cleanse. On the nights that I use the ordinary’s AHA/BHA peel I’ve been using elf pure skin cleanser. So I think I’m going to make that my morning cleanser as well since it’s something gentler than the kale detox cleanser. Thank you for validation and the information.
Can you please talk more about skin yellowness/shallowness!!!! I've been upset about it for a long while, and havent heard about any professional advice
It would be amazing if y’all could do a general routine during pregnancy! I am almost 10 weeks and would love to hear what y’all advise! ♥️ Focus is hydration and melasma 🤗
I just had my third babe and keep it really simple during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Cleanser (with no salicylic acids) Lactic Acid Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizer SPF Now that I’m not pregnant, I started doing my Vitamin C in the morning with Niacinimide and then moisturizer and SPF and leaving the Lactic Acid for my night routine. Let me know if I’m doing something wrong 😅
I’m surprised that Alpha Arbutin, Azelaic Acid, and Hydroquinone were not mentioned and they are the three most powerful brightening and evening products out there. But this is a Versed video after all, so maybe that’s why.
I just recently finished the retinization process for Tretinoin .025%, and I now only have one pimple on my face (used to be closer to 10-15 plus blackheads). The timing of the timing of this video is impeccable cause now I just gotta get rid of this PIH and few physical scars I got.
Thank you for this and for your good cheerful mood 😁 could you make a video on what product to avoid as a black person please ? (If you didn’t do it already) I want a brighter even skin and all the scars and dark spot to disappear but nothing that could affect my melanin I love it too much I don’t want to take risk putting a lightning product while trying to brighten my dark spots
I wish one of you was my derm! I just feel so rushed when there. And he only mentions drugstore products if I happen to ask about them! Thank you for so much info & entertainment!
I absolutely LoVe the the results from the Versed Doctor's Visit Instant Resurfacing mask‼️ I use it 1x a week due to my other exfoilatants 2x a week but each time I use it, I'm pleasantly surprised how smooth and glass-like my skin is afterwards. 🎉🎉 🎉 The one thing to caution others on is to follow the instructions for the recommended time to leave on which is 2-3 minutes. I use for exactly 3 minutes now since once I decided to leave it on for 4 minutes and ended up with inflamed and red skin for 2 weeks and it took a couple of high-end products to heal my face. 3 minutes does the trick for me ❤ But I cannot live without this product now & it's a MUST HAVE Rockstar in my Skincare collection.
I bought this Versed Doctor's Visit Instant Resurfacing mask on amazon and I do not like it at all. Besides the fact that it seems to be the weakest exfoliant I have ever tried (like doing nothing, tried having it on my face 10-15 mins also), it also does not smell well. idk if I got a fake product.
These products look great. I use the Paula's Choice AHA/BHA 10 minute weekly peel and have found it m makes a big difference in skin discoloration and surface texture..
I ❤ versed! I use their toner in the yellow bottle! Omg I bought it on a whim and my post acne hyperpigmentation is actually fading and baby I’ve used very expensive exfoliants and nothing ever helped. I’m glad you guys spoke on kojic because my tried and true cleanser has that and it’s so great! The urban skin rx cleanser because my Skin concern is hyperpigmentation. It’s a holy grail! Great video!
Thank you for this video. :) Would you mind doing a video like this for when you're pregnant? Retinol is out 😪. Salicylic acid and chemical peels are out. I'm trying to make due with Vitamin C, resveratrol with ferulic acid serum, niacinamide and OTC Azelaic acid (The Ordinary). I feel like I've already lost my glow though; and I'm noticing uneven skin tone on my cheeks.
So happy I am doing the 5 days a week retinoid and 2 days exfoliation. I do occasionally have a no actives day if I do the most and the skin needs a mini vaca.
I am facing rosacea and melasma at same time plzz its my humble request make a video on this ..when ever i try to treat melasma it triggers my rosacea and when i treat rosacea my melasma gets darker
I discovered you 2 years ago and always come back to you. I love the information and the good vibe that you provide. Also i the energy between you two. ❤❤
I had brought the Versed Resurfacing Mask when I had seen the short when it was first uploaded. Still my most expensive product that I will always keep stocked
That pretty neat that you guys provided a downloadable routine because I would forget by the time I get the products. I guess I will start doing something with my skin before it too late for it to correct itself. Thanks for sharing and blessngs to you and all in the days to come.
Can this be a lifestyle routine? I’ve started all these products and it’s 1 month and have definitely seen a difference, I’m guessing it gets even better with time
Can someone clarify on this please; the versed brightening serum contains sodium ascorbyl phosphate which is a different version of vitamin C, more stable but less effective than absorbic acid? So is this still a good vitamin C serum?
Hi there! Thanks for the helpful and unbiased content. I have a question regarding skin hyperpigmentation: can it be caused/worsened by the light emitted from digital screens? I had an esthetician tell me it can, but I'm a little skeptical. This might be an interesting topic for you two to cover in a future video, if you haven't already.
No... blue light from devices does not damage skin.. Dr. Dray has a great video about it.. It's only blue light from the sun that you should be concerned about.
Hey doctors... This was an amazing video with so much information.. Thankyou so much..Please make a video on skincare during pregnancy.. What to use and what not., dos and donts.. Please...
Love the Versed weekend glow toner! Packed with dark spot targeting ingredients, also Lancome has great products! genefique, clarifique, renergie serum. Aveeno brightening cleanser great for even skin tone!
I'm actually using the versed brightening solution and it's phenomenal. I can use it several times a week at night without irritation or sensitivity. I have already sensitive and lil' redness skin and this thing does the job with the most gentle way. The ingredient list is just too good to be true and it's kinda short too. Highly recommend it if you are too scared like me to get the mask product from Versed😊🤣
Ooh, I don't think I can tolerate an exfoliating acid with retinoid at night. I use the salicylic acid in the morning instead. Will incorporate vitamin C when my skin gets more used to the routine.
Can you do a video on toners? I like to run a quick toner on my face after washing but I think the ones I'm using are too harsh for my skin now. I just want something soothing, hydrating, that will remove what my cleanser may have missed. Thank you! 🫶😊
I tried the Versed mask and didn't notice anything special. No tingling, and my skin didn't feel any softer afterward. I am used to using the Ordinary AHA & BHA Peeling Solution, so I guess I expected a similar experience. 🤷🏻♀️
How to use skincare for a woman in late 50s who has hyperpigmentation, , hypopigmentation on body specifically, and acne (hormonal treatment)? I use rétinoin stieva, clindamycin and peroxyd benzol AND spirolactone.
Oh My God !!! I followed your advice on vitamine C a couple of months ago. My fine wringles was litteraly erased. The beautician whom sold it to me, wanted to make sure I wouldn't go in the sun with it. She even told me to wash my face in the morning before going out. I have oily black skin with old dark spots, and of course it helps with that as well. It also help preventing dark spots and pimples. Sometimes, the products burn a little bit when I apply it I guess it's because it's highly concentrated, I also find residu on my face and fingers. So I learn not rub it and to apply serum as well. But over all I'm so happy with it, that I bought others products from that brand, to enhance its effects. So thank you doctors !!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳
So true its not that complicated, 😂 you just need patience it will take months, for me literally 9 mos. Given you have the right skin care routine and you are consistent. I have acne prone and sensitive skin so its a bit tough coz some products will get you to the red face group when that happens step back, treat the redness go back to the basic mosturisers ( i used many types esp at night ). Heal first, then start again your products for uneven skin tone. There something about how you apply the product so review that. And goodbye redness and uneven skin tone, geez this comment is getting too long, hope this helps. But kudos to you guys. I learned a lot from you. Thanks x 1000. Group hug 😊
I love versed thanks to you! I love their Tranexamide acid, what a gem. Also the aha toner, hmmmmmm 😊 thanks for video i live you! P.s: any chance you can get your offs to Europe ?
What about azelaic acid? I saw a pharmacist recently who only recommended azelaic acid cream to me for uneven skin tone, but it’s not even mentioned here. Not sure if the pharmacist had some incentive or if maybe the Versed brand they are promoting in this video doesn’t have any products containing azelaic acid? Or perhaps it’s just not that great!?
Any time I try to treat my uneven skin tone (mainly hyperpigmentation left over from acne), I end up giving myself acne again. No matter how slow I go or how careful I am, any time it’s anything to do with cell turnover or whatever, I just end up with cystic acne again. Not sure if my skin just doesn’t tolerate any kind of actives or what but it sucks
Since you always mention moisturizer and sunscreen: Are there combination products and do I need a sunscreen when I do not go outside? What does aftershave cream do for the skin?
Do exfoliating acid agitate melanocytes by any chance? because I heard acids can agitate these cells which in turn produces melanin as reaction to the chemicals?
I love Drs that have kind hearts and Great intelligence I'm always looking for a skincare system to upgrade my skin
Dr Maxfields ‘uncontrollable’ laughs gets me Every time!! 🤣..
Thank you for making a printable of the skincare routine available ❤
Thank you guys for making skincare so simple ✨🤩
You guys taught me really good. I use all the ingredients you talked about in the correct order and timing because I learned it from your previous videos. Thank YOU

Can you do a video on the best products and for teenage acne/breakouts? A (hopefully easy) skin care routine for teens.
Here I go liking this video before watching cuz it’s gonna be good🎉
😂mee tooo
Me too.
Same!
Every time! 😂
Me too 💙
Hi, just wanted to say thank you! Your videos are very informative and you guys thought me a lot. I am known to be a skincare girly and it wouldn't be possible without you guys:) btw listening to your videos while getting ready in the morning is like the most relaxing thing ever
Thanks for this Doctors💗Much appreciated and good to see you two in the same frame 😉😆😂🥰🥰🥰

When I see influencers that show their skincare routine and they use 12 products I'm like " you need to watch Doctorly and keep it simple."
What is your skincare routine? Which products do you prioritise and which have you taken out as they were too excessive etc? Thanks!
Would love to see a video on how to get rid of small blackheads all over the face...
Love your videos, thank-you for all the value you provide!
Missed the "Here we go!" 🥺 Thanks for the video ❤
Wait.😂😂😂go back...they both said it 😂😂
❤❤love your videos specially talking about melasma and hyperpigmentation
My favorite doctors!! As always, very informative and super helpful. I suffer from uneven skin tone and with such sensitive skin its hard for me to find something to even out my skin without causing irritation. Thanks so much.
I can relate to this!! Did you find anything that works for you?
Now I know I’m a skin nerd. The ingredient routine you laid out here is what I just got done finalizing for myself before I watched this video. I second that for breastfeeding
I just had my third babe and keep it really simple during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Cleanser (with no salicylic acids)

Hyaluronic Acid

SPF
Now that I’m not pregnant, I started doing my Vitamin C in the morning with Niacinimide and then moisturizer and SPF and leaving the Lactic Acid for my night routine.

I think they didnt recommend it because Tretinoin is the holy grail for skin and it does all that they do plus way more to improve the skin.
And in the U.S. hydroquinone was taken out of OTC products.
Hydroquinone is great for lightening hyperpigmentation but not amazing for an even skin tone because some areas will look lighter. That's my issue rn
Check out dr idriss video she talks about these ingredients
I just use the skinfix AHA BHA pads that you recommended in one of your exfoliating video. It's incredible.
I just recently finished the retinization process for Tretinoin .025%, and I now only have one pimple on my face (used to be closer to 10-15 plus blackheads). The timing of the timing of this video is impeccable cause now I just gotta get rid of this PIH and few physical scars I got.
OMG I tried to guess what the hero ingredients were going to be before they showed them and I got them all!
Incredible teachers to the public!!!!! Thank you so much for the very clear information you continue to provide.
Get you a man who looks at you the way Dr. Maxfield looks at Dr. Shah.
😂

Happiest Docs in America! Your warm personalities and beautiful smiles make the video very attractive.
Thanks for the content.

You should do a video on Korean skincare, I’ve heard it’s really good!! 😊
The stroke of brilliance is a fantastic primer as well!! Perfect grippy texture, and I love it under my sunscreen!!!

Why is Azelaic Acid so underrated??! yet it is an extraordinary active that all skin types can use I find it better than the much loved niacinamide
Thank you for this video. :) Would you mind doing a video like this for when you're pregnant? Retinol is out 😪. Salicylic acid and chemical peels are out. Is dr Maxfield wearing a paper clip bracelet ? Lol😂
He is, he made it in the office right before we shot this video. He never explained why 🙃
@@Doctorly 🫶🏼👍🏽
Much needed one💖
I am facing rosacea and melasma at same time plzz its my humble request make a video on this ..when ever i try to treat melasma it triggers my rosacea and when i treat rosacea my melasma gets darker
I would love to go to them for an in-depth check up and diagnosis
I be saying the "here we go" with them and cheesing😂
I have been washing in the am with just water since i was a kid. This was great video. Thanks for great info.
I discovered you 2 years ago and always come back to you. I love the information and the good vibe that you provide. Also i the energy between you two. ❤❤

My perfect upload thanks guys 🤗

What is the difference between exfoliating and the peel solution? Your prompt response to my inquiry is greatly appreciated, thank you!

I really happy to know this info ❤❤❤thanks a bunch ☺️

QUESTION? Do you have to wash your retinoids off with a cleanser in the morning. That way you're not going into the sun with it on your skin?.
Hi there! Thanks for the helpful and unbiased content. I have a question regarding skin hyperpigmentation: can it be caused/worsened by the light emitted from digital screens? No... blue light from devices does not damage skin.. Dr. Dray has a great video about it.. It's only blue light from the sun that you should be concerned about.
Allies of skin has a new product that is supposed to be used 3 times a week which mixes retinoids and exfoliating acids. It's on my shopping list
Any suggestions for even skin tone for the body instead of the face?
Hi Dr Maxfield and Dr Shah
Huge fan
I just started skincare with Vitamin c and rational
Thankew for wonderful videos ❤ ❤
I got the mask right after watching your short on it.. I love it!!

new drinking game...for every time Dr. Maxfield rubs his chin, take a shot 😂
Is it just me who finds Doctor Maxwell very handsome 😂❤?
Thank you! I'm glad I'm not the only one that scent test products. lol xD Have a great week everyone!
Versed really works! It was a great recommend.
My cat really likes the ding noise you guys use when listing ingredients lol
I like Versed, good ingredients, inexpensive & cruelty free, great video.

So true its not that complicated, 😂 you just need patience it will take months, for me literally 9 mos. Given you have the right skin care routine and you are consistent. Is mineral sunscreen better than chemical sunscreen??
Thanks! I needed this. 😊
The callout of Versed (NOT versed=midazolam!) got me. I saw the title and had never heard of versed (the skin care brand)
Which of those 2 products mentioned can remove sun tan from the skin more effectively? (idk if sun-tan and hyper-pigmentation are related at all)
In one of their recent videos they were saying that the combination of sunscreen (in am) and retinol (pm) works best
And what about acelaic acid? I was planning to buy a product with this ingredient soon to hopefully target my old acne discoloration...
Thank you, great information!🥰
What's a safe acne treatment I can add to this regimen? I suffer from weekly breakouts and need to keep them at bay.
The Vitamin C serum you suggested only has .5% Vit C? "VITAMIN C sodium ascorbyl phosphate | 0.5%" is listed on their site. Isn't that way to low?
This is my skin type…Thank you!😊
Any time I try to treat my uneven skin tone (mainly hyperpigmentation left over from acne), I end up giving myself acne again. No matter how slow I go or how careful I am, any time it’s anything to do with cell turnover or whatever, I just end up with cystic acne again. Not sure if my skin just doesn’t tolerate any kind of actives or what but it sucks
Have you tried Azelaic acid? It treats both acne and hyperpigmentation
Lol when I first saw Versed in print I immediately thought of the medication ( nurse) 😅
After you apply the vitamin C serum, do you need to wait for a few mins before you apply the moisturiser?
Dr Maxfield love your paper clip bracelet 😂
Since you always mention moisturizer and sunscreen:
Are there combination products and do I need a sunscreen when I do not go outside? What does aftershave cream do for the skin?
The pineapple component is called papane.
Do exfoliating acid agitate melanocytes by any chance? because I heard acids can agitate these cells which in turn produces melanin as reaction to the chemicals?
Love these videos soooo much
Are there other ingredients besides niacinamide that specifically help with age-related skin yellowing?
Off topic but can you please do one for nail scratches like big ones please its so common in people it would help a lot pls
Can you do a video on seborrhoeic dermatitis please 🙏
