You are the only ones whose opinion and recommendation I can trust 100%. Thank you for always helping me to choose the right products and ingredients. Love your videos. ❤✨
Well, this is embarrassing: my most repurchased item of the year is Russell Stover chocolate-covered marshmallow holiday candy from Walgreens. Both dark & milk chocolate Christmas trees & snowmen, Valentine hearts, Easter whatevers. I'm addicted.
Omg reading your comment reminded me how I used to love the Russell Stover chocolate covered orange marshmallow pumpkins around Halloween. I haven't had one in years because I forgot about them.
I love, love, love the Korean and Japanese sunscreens - the only ones that don’t burn around my eyes. Most repurchased are Isantree, and Beauty of Joseon 🤙🏽
I'm the only one who found the beauty of joseon sunscreen not so lightweight? i mean a lot of people said that it is the best lightweight sunscreen ever but I found it a little bit oily on my face, no whitecast just oily and greasy not felling like second skin...
I bought the purple Paula’s choice retinoid because of you guys & have already noticed a smoothness in my 57 year old face-thank you both-love your videos-keep that shit up!👍🏽
I exclusively use cerave cleansers and moisturizers and have repurchased many many times. I also have tried several systems this year and am stuck on the unseen sunscreen by goop! I tried several you both recommended and this was the one that stuck! I have very sensitive skin and the simple routines that you both have outlined have literally CHANGED my skin. I tell everyone about your channel
I'm thinking about trying that one out next. Have you tried the Cosrx Aloe Sunscreen? If you have, do you think that they're similar/comparable? That's the one I'm currently using 😁
@@lauraanderson8785I recently switched from the years of using the cosrx aloe to the BOJ and prefer the BOJ right now. BOJ has a little bit of a scent but dissipates quickly and has a lighter coverage which works better for my combo skin. The cosrx felt a little more oily and heavier to me, so I’m enjoying BOJ’s lighter coverage especially in the hot and humid summer right now.
@@somethingkindawonderful3034the styleKorean website! Lab Muffin beauty science does sponsorships with them and I've started using the beauty of joseon rice sunscreen and it's very good. It doesn't smell too much and it feels nice.
Beauty of Joseon radiance cleansing balm is a forever repurchase for me! Works great and one of the few balms that doesn't break me out. And doesnt irritate my eyes!
Cerave Healing Ointment is by far my most used skincare product. Lips, eyes, brows, neck, cuticles, heels, elbows, knees, to make fragrance last longer. I don’t think there’s a more versatile product on the market
Daily routine: Clarins orange daily exfoliating cleanser, The Ordinary Niacinamide serum, Augustinus Bader The Light Cream. Night time: Shiseido foaming cleanser, The Ordinary Retinol in squalene, and First Aid Beauty moisturizer (sometimes Tatcha moisturizer)
My most bought last year are 1. CeraVe acne foaming cleanser, 2. La Roche -Posay triple repair cream, 3. Nizoral and 4. Trader Joes sunscreen. For misc is Ben and Jerry's Brownie Batter core ice cream.
Love you guys! Happy New Year! I am a 63 year old woman and honestly, the best thing to happen to me was getting an unbelievably painful sunburn in Aruba in 1982. I have been using sunscreen since, and I can honestly say that I have been using Eucerin face moisturizer with SPF 30 and it has saved my skin from looking old and wrinkled. People often ask what I use to look so young, but it was prevention from an incident 40 years ago. I still use it, but I did purchase the LaRoche Posay Anthelios UVmune 400 sunscreen when I was in Paris 3 months ago, and of course am obsessed! I can’t get it here, but plan on purchasing this the next time me or any family member or friends are in Europe anytime soon. I love your videos and again, thank you for such informative and fun content.
Dr. Shaw, I’m a hairstylist. I highly recommend “double cleansing” your hair with an oil based cleanser first (like a facial cleansing balm, coconut oil, or any oil based cleanser before stepping in the shower. Or an oil based cleanser with a pump in the shower works great too for convenience). Your products and any scalp residue will melt away. You might need to wash twice afterwards with your regular shampoo to get all of the oils and residues out. It works really well for all kinds of oil based scalp conditions also.
As a cosmetologist myself, I find this interesting. Are there professional products that meet this need? Most oils, like Loma Nourishing oil has an element that gives heat protection, tho it is a most natural product.
The Bioderma Atoderm oil cleanser for body is great for face and body. If you have dry skin it’s a life saver. I use it on my face and body and it gets sunscreen off both without stripping my skin.
I’ve been really into the La Roche Posay LipikarAP+ triple repair moisturzing cream as well (for my face)! But even more so I’ve been loving the gentle foaming moisturizing wash from the same line. My most frequent purchase in 2023 was Cicaplast from La Roche Posay too! My face just loves their products ☺️
1. La Roche Posay Toleraine Moisturizer for face 2. Cerave Foam Clenser for face 3. Cerave Resurfacing Retinol 4. Vichy Mineral 89 Serum 5. La Roche Posay Lipikar Apm Balm for body 6. Bioderma Atoderm body wash 7. Jason Biotin Shampoo for hair
nice list! Do you like the Cerave Resurfacing Retinol? I have thought about it because it is more cost effective than my Avene but wondering if it is as effective effective :)
@@mindbodyhome102 I am happy, I realized my skin is more tighter than before and my pores are smaller, but Cerave is my first retinol and haven't tried other brands yet
Thanks for the video! You can switch your Amazon to UK or any other place under your settings and order spf to the US. That’s how I get mine from other countries!
Most fun video ever!!! 🏆 Was great to have the two of you in play mode!! Reminds me of kids showing off their prize collections of toys… Now we have the coolest derm dudes showing off their very best!! LOVE IT ❣️ Having 2 teenage boys, the two of you have been my saving grace to get them into smart skin care!! Many thanks!! Appreciate you both always have my back!! Two thumbs up!! 👍🏼 👍🏼
I loved the Farmacy cleaning balm, but I found the e.l.f skin holy hydration as an excellent dupe. Love the smell, ingredients and the price point 😃 👍👌
Per 100ml, the prices aren't that different though, especially because the farmacy one is often on sale, so the difference in price per 100ml works out like 4/5 quid 🙂
My Serum Empties: 1. The Ordinary Lactic Acid 10+ HA; I use every 3rd night between various retinol serum(s) nights. I mainly use to target a pronounced dark spot on my face/cheek. 2. The Ordinary 100% Plant Derived Squalane; I use this everywhere and it especially seems to work great on my heels/toenails/fingernails (Does wonders on my cuticals). 3. Dr. Brenner C Serum w/ Vit E, Ferulic, Hylauronic Acid; I use on my face EVERY morning prior to moisturizer and suncreen. Cleanser Empties: 1. Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm followed by 2. Cerave Hydrating Facial Cleanser. I am 56 and wear makeup and double cleanse nightly.
la roche posay triple lipid lipkar cream is easily my most repurchased item ever, as an eczema sufferer its the best daily moisturizer period ! i love it, use it morning and night
Hi what's the texture of it?? Is it creamy or gel cream like ?? I have rosacea and love the aveeno calm and restore oat gel moisturiser love it's texture
Yes! Do a food related video and maybe combine it with skincare. I would love to hear your take on what kind of food/ingredients we should have in our diet to maintain a healthy looking skin. And does collagen powder actually work?
We love the Eucerin Advanced Repair lotion too! I’m currently obsessed with the Naturium Glow Getter Multi Oil Wash on my body. Also the Gold Bond Age Renew Retinol Overnight Body Lotion.
@@Doctorly But it's an honest representation and I love that! I think even those of us who are skincare junkies do the same, too. We're not perfect, but we're trying! 😂
I’ve been double cleansing since I was a teenager. Though my second step cleansing swaps back and forth with Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser and Aveeno calm +restore a few years back I finally found something that breaks down the sunscreen and mascara really well, no crazy scent, washes well and leaves my skin super soft and I don’t break out! AND pricing is VERY reasonable( if in Canada wait for shoppers to put the value size on sale for 25.00) lasts forever. Drum roll please…… La Roche -Posay Lipikar AP+ lipid replenishing cleansing oil. What a fantastic product I’d say my second fave must have, is same company - ciclaplast baume B5. I have really sensitive skin( gets red quickly ) so when I dermaplane I slather this all over my face, and no redness! And last but not least Eucerin complete repair 5% urea moisturizer .- no matter what condition your feet are in ( for me , they get really dry in the Canadian winters) so I use before bed, and literally with 1 time you already see the difference ( Even heels are softer) the more times you use the better they look.! This is way to think and occlusive for the rest of my body or my feet in the day but it’s awesome at night. ( and I hate wearing socks to bed , so it doesn’t even need that!) Sorry if this was long , but I so love these products and if maybe they can help one person then it was worth it!
My favorite body moisturizer is Gold Bond Retinol overnight..it gets absorbed quickly and the skin feels really smooth. As for cleansing balm, I liked the Farmacy one, but I prefer colleen rothschild cleansing balm
I absolutely loved this video! It was so fun hearing what you two actually use on a daily basis. My favorite empties this year are the BOJ sunscreen, the Isntree moist cream moisturizer, Rael pimple patches, and tretinoin. My favorite miscellaneous empty is Trader Joe's oat milk chocolate bars. Soooo good and creamy for a non-dairy chocolate. Also, I chugged Vita Coco's coconut water this year. I would love to hear more about your passion for food, Dr. Shah! You two should have a Q&A or something similar. I love getting to know you two on a more personal level as people and not just dermatologists :)
You guys are so good together because you are both just so naturally sweet and Dr. Maxfield is just too cute when he blushes😂I love many of these recommendations and love you fellas too❤️😻🫶
That La Roche Posay sunscreen is also available in Brazil. It's so expensive but once I used it I can never use another one again! It's crazy how easy it is to get used to good stuff.
My most repurchased product this year is the Paula’s choice 1% Retinol treatment….I went through three of them this past year, and it’s not cheap, but some things I must have. Same with the supergoop Glow Screen. I tried the supposed elf dupe for it…not even close! Also, definitely agree on the Eucerin advanced repair lotion. So good.
9:17 My favourite shampoo right now is the Revlon Equave Instant Detangling Micellar Shampoo: It contains some fragrance so it's not recommended for people with high sensitivity. However, it is excellent at cleaning the scalp, it doesn't foam too much, my bleached hair got more volume and noticeably less split, frizzy hair ends, the scent is pleasant in my opinion and it is affordable in comparison to other high quality shampoos. I totally recommend it and will repurchase it soon.
Regularly use and repurchase: Timeless Vitamin C, many from The Ordinary especially love their Caffeine serum, Cerave and love Gold Bond cream at night. Thanks for all your great info.
I consistently use (and replace) Avene's .05 Retrinal serum. It can be used every day with no nasty side effects and does not contain and silicones so any products I apply after it have a chance of doing their thing :)....also it contains squalane which I know you two will appreciate. Also a fan of the LRP Toleraine double repair with SPF and the Avene SPF 50 as well as Cerave and LPR cleansers....
Great and fun video! These are my empties and I always repurchase for years now... FACE CARE: Cleansing Oil - Muji Mild Care Cleansing Oil Cleanser (water based) - Pyunkang Yul Calming Low pH Foaming Cleanser Toner - Naturie Skin Conditioner Lotion Serum (AM) - Frankly Closer Pore Reducing Serum Acne Cream (PM) - Acretin Tretinoin 0.05% Moisturizer - 4PM Ceramide Soothing Gel Sunscreen - Mentholatum Sun Play Super Block BODYCARE: Bodywash - Eucerin Advanced Cleansing Body And Face Cleanser Body Lotion - Eucerin Advanced Repair Lotion Body Sunscreen - Altruist Dermatologist SPF 50 Sunscreen
I love that you say a product might no be right for you. I’m 67 years old. I just tried CeraVe cleanser on my face again. Within a few days I had big pimples on my face. Everyone is different.
My favorite sunscreen is the Biore Watery Essence. I have dry skin and even though Biore sunscreen has alcohol, it doesn’t dry out my skin. I’ve been using it for almost 10 years.
Most repurchased moisturizer for me is ELF Holy Hydration fragrance free- about 3 a year. Sunscreen is Banana Boat Light as Air - 2 a year- I use a different brand tinted one daily. Retinoid- Cera Ve resurfacing. Shampoo- ION Purify Conditioner- EVA NYC Hair Therapy Misc. Tree Hut Body Scrubs
This video made me realize that I've NEVER bought the same product twice - EVER. Not even shampoo ... when in a store or looking online, my mind always goes 'there is this plethora of consumption to be done out there, try something different ...' The only stable in my life has been my tretinion! 😜
This year I did a dive into skin care so a lot of my products I have had for less than 6 months. However, I do have some that are almost empty and that I used in the past. For most used items of the past: Clean & Clear Deep Action Cream Cleanser & the Scrub(I cannot tell you how many tubes I have emptied), Tarte Drink of H2O, and Tarte Maracuja C Brightener Eye cream. From this year, the product I have actually used the most of would be the P.Calm Barrier Cycle Toner, the Torriden BALANCEFUL toner pads, and the Glow Recipe Watermelon PHA + BHA toner. I know toners are a hot topic, but I will often just use a toner as a morning "cleanse". Both of these Toners haven't "transformed" my skin, but they have helped my skin to naturally start cleaning the pores on my cheeks. I only use the Glow Recipe Toner as a "spot treatment" on my nose to help exfoliate my pores.
I love Erno Laszlo oils & soaps for the face-they make my skin feel great & ready for glycolic/niacinimide/Vit C serum/Dr Shah Remedy for dark spots (thanks Dr Shah❤️). I do the best I can - I’m 74 (yikes). Thanks Doctorly - you are the BEST!!
Oh I love this video! Gee I use so many things. But I’m recently I’m religiously committed to Avene & U Beauty! They are both spectacular! Ok so I’m using the strong retinol avene serum, eye serum and the antioxidant serum. And UBeauty, you guys gotta check it out, it’s amazing. I’m using the resurfacing face serum and body resurfacing serum, and there eye serum and their lip gloss, which is a nighttime treatment for nourishing the lips and fullness for 24-48 hours! I’m serious. Beats Laniege, which I still love. I also really enjoyed La roche posay torelmaine spf went through a whole bottle and ordered more, and neutrogena spf serum with retinol and vitamin C. La roche posay spf compact, the lighter version for under eye spf and it doubles as a concealer for my dark circles! The La roche posay tinted spf. Cetaphil, dehydration, skin, restoring water gel, Pharmacy, halo glow moisturizer, Garnier moisture rescue for sensitive skin, kheils moisturizing cream, Dead Sea minerals exfoliating bar soap for body & salt soap I love, Curel in shower moisturizer and I use it after washing my hands. Lancôme comfort honey toner. Suave rosemary mint shampoo for my roots. Peter Thomas Roth black charcoal mask is awesome, I had a spider bite put it one every day. Neutrogena sayslic acid body wash, I like Clinique cleansing balm, and zero. Been using Neutrogena face cleanser for sensitive skin, but I’m really liking the Avene moisturizing cleanser. And The Vichey eye serum with hyaluronic acid and caffeine is amazing.
I use AmLactin Daily for a body moisturizer…🥰 I love how you guys are showing products that are so affordable. That you and your spouses even use.💞 Enjoy your journey in life and keep spreading your sunshine.
Skincare: cleanse using cerave SA cleansing wash, use EPIDUO at night with Aveeno moisturiser , rinse in the morning with water then niacinimide and zinc serum and aveeno again. Exfoliate 2 times a week with the ordinary aha and bha exfoliating liquid .. generally got my entire routine from this Chanel based on my skin needs and I get comments al the time about my skin now. Oh and PLEASE do a foodie epidsode, my husband and I love your videos
My most empty product would be Cerave Moisturizing cream as a body moisturizer, it’s the best I hv ever tried and I don’t think I would even bother to try another body lotion again, it just so good!
Favorite sunscreen DRMTLGY Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 46. Universal Tint Paula’s Choice products: AHA gel exfoliate BHA gel exfoliate not the liquid you can get more use out of the gel vs liquid EltaMD UV Clear Face Sunscreen, SPF 46 best sunscreen for my teens acne skin.
I almost exclusively use first aid beauty products. They just work really well for me. It’s the only brand that doesn’t make me break out or get super red.
What a great video idea. Love your honesty and the random stories sprinkled throughout the video. It’s nice to know that dermatologists are just people like us. Using bath and bodyworks 😜 Also I can totally relate to the no diet part. Food is love. Food is life. ❤
I have been hooked on the La Roche Posay Double Repair Matte moisturizer. Thanks, Dr. Maxfield, for putting it on my radar! I live in NC as well, and have been dealing with summer acne flares bc of the humid weather. This product completely put a stop to them (in addition to my Rx drugs).
My most repurchased from this year (I have sensitive, dry skin with early signs of aging): Cleanser- It Cosmetics Confidence in a Cleanser, Toner- Paula's Choice Enriched Calming Toner, Moisturizer- Belif Moisturizing Bomb, sunscreen- CeraVe hydrating mineral sunscreen tinted and La Roche Posay tinted mineral.
I have also switched to bar soaps for the shower to reduce plastic use. Osmia Organics makes glorious and luxurious soaps. Last spring they had one called Surfer Girl which was delightful!
My most purchased this year was definitely Beauty of Joseon Sunscreen, naturium glycolic acid body wash, Wishtreds Vitain-A bakuchiol Night cream, Cosrx Purefit Cica cleaning oil, and Mary & May Collagen Peptide sheet masks. My most consistently used products were Cosrx's The 6 peptide skin booster serum, and Dr.Dennis Gross Extra strength peel pads (But I dont have to purchase them very often because they come with so much)
My favorite favorite moisturizer is the Malin + Goetz Vitamin E Face Moisturizer. I have tried probably 20 different moisturizers over the last couple years and I just keep coming back to this one. It's hydrating but lightweight enough to wear every day, one bottle lasts absolutely forever even using it morning and night, it's unscented and just all around my favorite moisturizer of all time.
Happy new year to you both ❤. Amazing work on this vlog with the recommendations from each category, huge Thankyou for sharing your experiences and thoughts xx love watching your videos.
My acne got worse after getting off birth control I started using skin fix cleanser, moisturizer, differin gel and Paula choice exfoliant per yall recommendation My skin has improved so much! Thank you so much for doing these videos ❤
I love Sali Hughes products. She is a beauty expert from the UK who writes a weekly column in one of the UK's biggest newspapers, she also has several no-nonsense books on beauty. Anyway, she has now come up with her own skincare range and it's inexpensive, full of good ingredients and feels really nice on the skin. Love the Must C, which has Vit C, ferulic acid, niacinamide, HA and Vit E. Also love Clean Sheet, a lovely morning cleanser which makes my skin feel really vibrant. I've tried a gazillion products, but these just feel good and wholesome. I'm over 60 and have looked after my skin since 18, so know a good product when I see it.
You influenced me to buy the CosRx snail mucin and it’s crazy good, it has been lightening one dark spot I have that annoys me better than anything else I’ve tried, in less than 2 months it is less than half as dark as it was. Haven’t emptied it, but did empty a number of K-beauty (Beauty of Joseon, Belif, and Tocobo specifically), Naturium, and Supergoop SPFs. Also, the Naturium body washes and their new peptide serum. Inkey List Azelaic Acid. And Dr Jart Cicapair moisturizer. Those are all pretty normal repeats of rebuys.
Hello from Germany. Eucerin is produced in Hamburg right next door to where I live. And the Eucerin products available are less interesting and the range less varied and conclusive than the one available in the US (for example the Aquaphore) and In GB it is still a different product range. Same for La Roche-Posay. It is actually quite annoying. Thanx for your video. Informative and entertaining! Best from Franziska
Glad to hear you talk about Arazlo! My derm had me try it since tretinoin was so irritating to my skin, and I have to say I love Arazlo! Works great and significantly less irritating to my skin. My favorite moisturizers are Korean ones--Etude House Soon Jung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream and Pyungkang Yul Intensive Repair Cream. On average, I go through a bottle a month sometimes. But nothing else I've ever tried makes my skin so so good in the morning!
I have dry, sensitive over 60 skin. For my face, I have been loving the Cetaphil Hydrating Foaming Cream Cleanser, Cetaphil Healthy Renew Serum and night cream, Cocokind retinol cream, and Naturium Multi-Peptide Cream during the day with Beauty of Joseon Sunscreen. For my body use LaRoche Posay Lipikar AP Gentle Foaming Moisturizing Wash with Gold Bond Age Renew Retinol Overnight Face and Body Lotion. These are my constant rebuys.
My most repurchased this year have to be: Cleansing balm - Glow recipe papaya - sooo good, I find it to be better than farmacy’s green balm as it seems to really get dead skin cells / dirt off for me! Oil cleanser - NIOD oil cleaner - gets so much gunk out too! Cleanser - La Roche posay Effeclar h Right after cleansing I will sometimes spray on the Tower SOS spray - helps me battle my acne. Hydrating serum - COSRX snail mucin + mixed with niacinamide powder by the ordinary Retinoid - Sunday Riley A + Retinoid Serum - very effective I switched between my tretinoin and this. Cream - Drunk Elephant Protini Cream - my face loves this stuff, it’s soo good! Peptides delight! Sunscreen - Beauty of Joseon Face masks - glow recipe watermelon glow hyaluronic clay pore mask & Innisfree pore clearing calming clay mask & Dermalogica liquid peelfoliant - I love to switch between these and love them all I’m still on the hunt for my ultimate vitamin C serum, I loved the skinceuticals one but it’s so expensive.
Lately I've loved using Elizavecca olive cleansing oil followed by VT cica cleanser. I wear waterproof sunscreen most days (hada labo uv white gel spf 50) just so my eyes don't get irritated and sometimes makeup. My skin is super sensitive so i basically stopped going to target or other local stores (I'm not willing to spend sephora prices) Also, we need a recipe or favorite food/drink episode!!!!
I am 54 and live in the UK. My skincare regime is very affordable. I use the ALDI version of Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish for AM Clease, a Glycholic toner made by Marks & Spencer(A British Department Store), ALDI version of Vitamin C and Turmeric serum, The Inkey List Niacinamide serum and Q&A Amino Acid moisturiser topped by Bondi Sands SPF. In the PM I use Q&A Grapefruit Cleanser for first cleanse followed by the ALDI Cleanser and then rotate between Nip & Fab Glycholic pads, The Inkey List Retinol serum, Skin Doctors Hyaluronic mask and Q&A Snow Algae Cream. Love the results of all these products.
Would like your take on Bioderma Atoderm cleansing oil. Started using it last winter. I had developed dry patches. This product totally changed the way my skin feels and looks. Best body wash ever! Affordable, no scent and lasts.
I rate Bioderma over La Roche Posay. The Bioderma Atoderm Shower Oil is amazing as is their Cicabio range for damaged, weakened skin. Also the We Are Feel Good inc sunscreen range from Australia is brilliant. I agree cleansing balms are fantastic. I also use the Bioderma micellar water in their Sensibio range for sensitive skin. Great after using my cleansing balm. And I really like the Tatcha Dewy Skin cream for deep hydration.
On my face, I use Tretinoin cream.025%, the Inky List hyaluronic acid, Timeless vitamin C packets, and moisturizers by Belif (the moisturizing bomb) and the La Roche-Posay Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer, and Biossance 100% Squalane oil. I've cut out other products to keep my routine simple. I use the Everybody 3-in-1 bodywash and Deva Curl Low Poo and One Condition Original on my hair. I also use the Jergens Wet Skin body moisturizer. Oh, I also use the Farmacy Green Clean (love it), Cerave Hydrating cleanser, and Lancome Bifacil eye make up remover.
My empties this past year are: Clarity RX Take your Vitamins Hydrating Spray. It feels light and it's super hydrating. I use it constantly. Love using it between my skin care steps. I went through a few of these this year. Another one of my favorite empties from this year is Dermalogica Micellar Prebiotic Precleanse. Has a nice creamy texture. Makes my skin feel so moisturized and calm. Another one of my empties is IMAGE Restoring Cleanser. I love the cooling sensation I get from the cleanser. It's such a gentle exfoliating gel like cleanser. I feel like my product's just work so much better after using it. It is a new favorite of mine for sure. My other favorite empty is my Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF Moisturizer. It is probably one of my favorite SPF moisturizers out there. I keep it in my purse at all times along with my hydrating spray. It just leaves such a luxurious glow after I use it. Last empty for my skincare is Clarity RX Sleep It Off Retinol Alternative Mask. I love that a little goes a long way with this one. It has a deep warming sensation and melts into a nighttime moisturizer. It is wonderful for improving my skin texture and my skin just feels so much brighter after I use it. I just love the sensation of it on the skin. It just makes me feel like it's doing the things lol A body care empty for me would be Clarity RX Cleanse As Needed Glycolic Cleanser. I've went through a few of these. I love how gentle and effect of it is at breaking down excess oil and built up. I am also guilty for loving products I probably shouldn't use on my skin. Lush Shower Jellies are my guilty pleasure. The Whoosh is my absolute favorite. Smells so good! I've gone through quite a few of these this year. I love throwing them in the refrigerator before I use them in the shower. Another guilty pleasure for shower care would be Bath & Body Works Stress Free Body Wash. I love the smell of the Eucalyptus. So soothing!

Great tip, thanks!
I have build my whole skin care routine which I love with your advice. It’s been 1 year and my skin is glowing. Thank you
You guys are fun! You can talk about anything and it’s fun.
Have you tried shopping on Harrods?
1. La Roche Posay Toleraine Moisturizer for face
2. Cerave Foam Clenser for face
3. Cerave Resurfacing Retinol
4. Vichy Mineral 89 Serum
5. La Roche Posay Lipikar Apm Balm for body
6. Bioderma Atoderm body wash
It was great hearing your different habits / perspectives. Also nice to hear about your wives' empties!
Naturium skincare has changed my world for the better! I'm 44, oily skin- large pores. Everything that I have tried tried is really good!
1. Garnier micellar water 2. Cerave foaming cleanser 3. Cereve lotion in the bottle with pump 4. The ordinary hyaluronic acid
My most repurchased product is Iunik Centella Calming Sunscreen SPF 50.
Just started watching this video, excited to see what you guys actually use regularly yourselves!
We are ashamed of some of these choices 🙈 Don't do as we do
@@Doctorly But it's an honest representation and I love that!
Drum roll please……
La Roche -Posay Lipikar AP+ lipid replenishing cleansing oil.
What a fantastic product
I’d say my second fave must have, is same company - ciclaplast baume B5.
I have really sensitive skin( gets red quickly ) so when I dermaplane I slather this all over my face, and no redness!
And last but not least
Eucerin complete repair 5% urea moisturizer .- no matter what condition your feet are in ( for me , they get really dry in the Canadian winters) so I use before bed, and literally with 1 time you already see the difference ( Even heels are softer) the more times you use the better they look.!
This is way to think and occlusive for the rest of my body or my feet in the day but it’s awesome at night.
( and I hate wearing socks to bed , so it doesn’t even need that!)
Sorry if this was long , but I so love these products and if maybe they can help one person then it was worth it!
Thanks for the tips! 🇨🇦
Elta MD UV Elements tinted sunscreen! It’s my holy grail and in constant rotation!😊
Me too! That and Elta MD Restore are my favorites!
So good.
I use La Roche Anthelios tinted sunscreen. I'm fair and can wear this everyday, even winters in Canada. I love so many products in their lines.
Most repurchased item ever: vanicream gentle cleanser. Soooo underrated! Also aquafor, its good for everything!
The best clarifying shampoo I have ever used growing up and still do is good old Prell shampoo. It makes your hair squeaky clean!
Great and fun video! These are my empties and I always repurchase for years now...
FACE CARE:

Moisturizer - 4PM Ceramide Soothing Gel
Sunscreen - Mentholatum Sun Play Super Block
BODYCARE:

How is the pore reducing serum working for you ?
My VERY FAVORITE cleansing balm is elf holy hydration! It’s outstanding. Please include it in your comparison!! 😊
I buy ALL THE FLAVORS of Yasso! 👌🏼 So perfect for indulging while in a deficit.
Try the poppable versions, too! Yasso is the best!
I love that you say a product might no be right for you. I’m 67 years old. I just tried CeraVe cleanser on my face again. Within a few days I had big pimples on my face. Everyone is different.
Eucerin Calming cream has become my most repurchased skincare product. It’s so good! And yes, we need a foodie series!
My favorite sunscreen is the Biore Watery Essence. I have dry skin and even though Biore sunscreen has alcohol, it doesn’t dry out my skin. I’ve been using it for almost 10 years.
Yes! Do a separate food edition! 👏🏼
It’s so funny to see Dermatologists guilty pleasures lol 😹 hey no judgement there’s a reason so many people love the smelly good stuff
Love the Junoco cleansing balm, I think it is just as good as the Farmacy or even better
I’ve repurchased Cosrx snail mucin serum six times this year. I tried going without and really noticed the difference
I just started using this a few weeks ago and I love it!
I just purchased this two days ago. Will be my first time trying it. When do y’all use it? Before serums?
@@melaninmonroe007 I do cleanser, toner, snail mucin, moisturiser, castor oil
@@melaninmonroe007I use this as well. It depends on your serums. If it's thicker than your serum, then I use it after.
I use AmLactin Daily for a body moisturizer…🥰
I love how you guys are showing products that are so affordable. That you and your spouses even use.💞
Enjoy your journey in life and keep spreading your sunshine.
Me too!!! Forgot to add that to my list. I always have a tub on my dresser and if it gets low I run to make sure no day goes without it...
Favorite sunscreen DRMTLGY Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 46. Universal Tint
Paula’s Choice products:
AHA gel exfoliate
BHA gel exfoliate not the liquid you can get more use out of the gel vs liquid
EltaMD UV Clear Face Sunscreen, SPF 46 best sunscreen for my teens acne skin.
My favorite Dermatologist’s you are 😂 you’ve made my year 👍probably my most purchased is facial tinted sunscreen, don’t go a day without! Happy 2024
I almost exclusively use first aid beauty products. They just work really well for me. It’s the only brand that doesn’t make me break out or get super red.
What a great video idea. Love your honesty and the random stories sprinkled throughout the video. It’s nice to know that dermatologists are just people like us. Using bath and bodyworks 😜
Also I can totally relate to the no diet part. Food is love. Food is life. ❤
Adapalene gel for me!! I’m more acne prone so I use a 0.3% and my skin seems to love it!
I’ve been staying strong with Korean/asian skincare! I prefer their formulas.
I actually enjoy hearing what you’re wives use!!! ❤
I use the cerave cleansing bar in the shower and on my face. I’m trying to use fewer bottles.
My most consistently used products were Cosrx's The 6 peptide skin booster serum, and Dr.Dennis Gross Extra strength peel pads (But I dont have to purchase them very often because they come with so much)
Farmacy now has a cleansing balm that is fragrance free 😊 It’s great!
My acne got worse after getting off birth control
I started using skin fix cleanser, moisturizer, differin gel and Paula choice exfoliant per yall recommendation
My skin has improved so much!
Thank you so much for doing these videos ❤
I don't even know why I pay to see my Derm...you both are fire! Thank you for all you do. Love your chemistry.
It’s absolutely heart breaking to me that we can no longer get Farmacy Green Clean in Canada 😭
You fellas should have your wives on here sometime. THUMBS UP if you agree 👍
I also dislike Bath & Body Works products….it is so over powering and heavily scented. The foaming hand wash makes my hands dry and itchy.
My most repurchased this year have to be:
Cleansing balm - Glow recipe papaya - sooo good, I find it to be better than farmacy’s green balm as it seems to really get dead skin cells / dirt off for me!
Oil cleanser - NIOD oil cleaner - gets so much gunk out too!
Cleanser - La Roche posay Effeclar h
Right after cleansing I will sometimes spray on the Tower SOS spray - helps me battle my acne.
Hydrating serum - COSRX snail mucin + mixed with niacinamide powder by the ordinary
Retinoid - Sunday Riley A + Retinoid Serum - very effective I switched between my tretinoin and this.
Cream - Drunk Elephant Protini Cream - my face loves this stuff, it’s soo good! Peptides delight!
Sunscreen - Beauty of Joseon
Face masks - glow recipe watermelon glow hyaluronic clay pore mask & Innisfree pore clearing calming clay mask & Dermalogica liquid peelfoliant - I love to switch between these and love them all
I’m still on the hunt for my ultimate vitamin C serum, I loved the skinceuticals one but it’s so expensive.
My empties:
-Daily moisturizer: Clinique Moisture Surge
-Facial cleanser: Age Defy resurfacing cleaner (Evening)
-Age Defy gentle cleaner (Morning)
-Eye cream: Clinique's All About Eyes
-Mask: Farmhouse Fresh Illumination Fruit
Sundcreen: Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen
Lately I've loved using Elizavecca olive cleansing oil followed by VT cica cleanser. I wear waterproof sunscreen most days (hada labo uv white gel spf 50) just so my eyes don't get irritated and sometimes makeup. My skin is super sensitive so i basically stopped going to target or other local stores (I'm not willing to spend sephora prices)
Also, we need a recipe or favorite food/drink episode!!!!
My empties this past year are:
Clarity RX Take your Vitamins Hydrating Spray.
It just makes me feel like it's doing the things lol
A body care empty for me would be Clarity RX Cleanse As Needed Glycolic Cleanser.
Face Cleansers: 1nkey List Oat Cleanser and La Roche Posay Toleriane Clarifying Cleanser
Body Cleanser: Naturium Daily Multi-Vitamin Cleanser
Serums: Skin 1004 Hyalu-cica blue serum; Summer Fridays Dream Oasis; and Beauty of Joseon Vitamin C & Cica serum
Moisturizers: still figuring out a favorite morning moisturizer but LOVED Summer Fridays new Rich Moisture Cream as a night moisturizer
Sunscreens: Nivea UV Super Water Gel and Innisfree Daily UV Defense
Video recommendation: I would love to know your take on eyelash care… pros and cons of lash serums, pros and cons of lash lifts/tints and extensions!
Cleanser balm - Jordan samuels the after show cleanser. Second cleanser Kate Somerville Exfolikate cleanser daily foaming wash. Paula’s choice 10% azelaic. Paula’s choice antioxidant pore purifier. Beauty of joseon and instree watery sun gel.
I rotât many products but these I repurchase on a regular basis
Farmacy does have a fragrance free cleansing balm. I did really enjoy that one but never tried the original so not sure if the original is better. Thanks for your awesome recommendations!
