So true about the after workout glow. I have been behind this dewy healthy look for so long. Recently joined a gym and after 2 weeks of going regularly and making dietary changes, yesterday when I stepped out of the gym and saw my sweaty face in the lift, it was that same glow I have been chasing. Peak goddess energy!!

Love the transparency! For the people complaining that it is only "luxury" products and so it's not applicable for them, if she came to you with a bunch of drugstore brands and lied about her skin changing because of that, that wouldn't help you either! Now I don't believe that more expensive = better quality always, but I think we should be trying to encourage this kind of honesty where influencers show what they actually use. I actually think Prakriti did a good job of mentioning affordable options when she could (i.e. ones she believes in).

    1. Simple face wash (green wala) On my 5th bottle now
    2. Simple moisturizer (2nd bottle now)
    3. Derma co sunscreen, the orange bottle. Its good fragrance free.
None of these irritate my skin.

My skin is very similar to you. Vitamin C works best for my hyperpigmentation. My pigmentation too doesnt go away permanenrly, but it reduces whenever I am at home for 2-3 days. I use sunscreen even at home, twice a day. Another very important aspect of good skin I think is, good sleep and stress managemwnt. As women, our hormones are not always acting accordingly, so we need to take care of our overall selves in order to have good hair and skin. Nutricious food like fruits and veggies is a must, and it has worked well for me.

A true vitamin C without any added fragrance is supposed to smell like hot dog water / not a pleasant smell. The cosrx one is really excellent but in the video i can see it’s really oxidised you have to use that up in a max of two months that too with storage at a low temp of around 3 10 degree C as mentioned in the packaging.
The color of that serum is supposed to be light yellow due to the carotene added as an additional antioxidant for the formula, if it turns dark orangish that means the vitamin c is oxidised and no longer of use.
It has really brightened my skin that one, and it doesn’t irritate my skin at all.
Absolutely amazing to pair it with piconogenol by TO and depigment serum by sugandha it’s working wonders.

You get what u pay for as simple as that . Yes she is using expensive products but thats what works for her and she can afford it. She being honest about it ks great , kmagine she shows a couple of cheaper productsand lying that her results are due to them this is far better . She is primarily a makeup influencer and she reviews both cheap and expensive makeup products . This is a video that she is making as subscribers are requesting. The honest truth is the cheapest products that u get the supermarket are not that great and may cause issues in the long run , this includes lakme , loreal paris, olay (though their expensive hair products are good), pathajali , everyouth , ponds etc . Yes the ponds moisturizer is good but it can cause skin sensitivity in the long runasthese products are all loaded with heavy fragrance and alcohol ( which can dry the skin). You want medium to good quality products you have to spend around 250 and above , and this is for one product alone . The more expensive the product is the more better the ingredients and formulations are and better it works on the skin ( atleast in most cases). My advice if u are broke is to stick to a simple routine - a non drying cleanser ( along with a cleansing balm if u can afford tomelt away sunscreen ), a good moisturizer twice a day based on ur skin type and a good sunscreen with minimum spf 50 when outdoor and spf 30 indoors. These 3 products can give u healthy skin which will age better with time , emphasis on healthy and not perfect . Therest whatever is advised by companies and influencers are add on but not necessary. And for most this routine works fine so try to stick to a simple routine . Good quality brands in this range includes - minimalist , simple , pilgrim (not all but the moisturizers are nice ) , dermaco , earth rhythm , aqalogica and dot and key ( havent used them but most ppl have good reviews ), plum , cerave etc . Not all these brands have completely great products but they are better than the cheaper once , so save up some money and use ur products judiciously so that they last longer. And for product recommendations i suggest - shwetha vijay , jovita george , shreya jain , maitreeyi halder and dr anchal panth . Always for knowledge about skincare - d shreen idris , dr v and dr dray are really grt.

    1. The hydration on your skin doesn’t really come from water instead from a celleular brick wall which locks in moisture. And sometimes hyluoronic acid as this is infused in almost every serum and moisturizer existing.
    2. Sugar doesn’t sabotage ur skin. Infact no such food does. Sometimes oily foods do but thats occasional. The cause of acnes are mostly genetical, hormonal or skin type.

Drinking too much water can be harmful to your health. It's important to consume only the amount your body needs, as there is a limit to how much water the body can handle safely.

I love the way you explain the entire routine. Also, the transparency as well. But since you said, you are pretty cool with trying new things, can you try products under a bit affordable price range, and something a bit simpler. Ik being a content creator you do have to take care of a lot, but for someone like us, students, we couldn't afford doing an elaborate routine..
You are really doing great btw. Also haters gonna hate...you do youu!!
