slowly transitioning from cerave to korean skincare. it's the best. it's like putting silk on your skin to wash your silky sun screen off to then put more silk on it
My biggest flex is that my skin care literally consists of all the products he mentioned. (The serum and moisturiser for oily skin) because my skin is a oily mess. And I garantee that all the products Hyram mentioned are TOP NOTCH ! I started skin care because of hyram, my first product was ordinary niacinamide. I am so grateful I found you when I needed you the most. ❤️
I used to live in Korea, and I fell in love with every single product I used. Top notch skin care at amazingly affordable prices. And loads of little freebies every time I shopped. I would love to go back with an empty suitcase and come back home with it filled to the brim with ALL the things!
the iUNIK tea tree serum is AMAZING. i have oily skin and live in FL and was shocked with how matte my face was at the end of the day after my first time using it. honestly love everything from that line and the moisturizer smells amazing without having fragrance
I started with Korean skin care about six months ago, and I love it. I use the Numbuzin 5 serum, the Rovectin Lotus cream, and the Beauty of Joeson Revive eye serum and sunscreen. I also have the VT Reedle Shot 100 on the way! I’m 50 years old, and I think these products have really improved the tone and texture of my skin.
my skin is too sensitive that most products caused trouble for me until I found my top notch products and all are korean, except a few... 1. Banila co zero cleansing balm (blue one) 2. Roundlab dokdo toner 3. Purito unscented serum 4. Iunik centella calming gel cream These are my must have. Only my facewash is himalaya (Indian brand) from korean benton facewash is good too and sunscreen is biore water essence (japanese... and only sunscreen my sensitive oily skin can take) also in winter, the only thing i change is moisturiser and I use, cerave lotion for normal to dry skin. And of course, la Roche posay cicaplast b5 balm, this is actually a saviour for my sensitive skin

Korean sunscreens are the only ones that don't irritate the living daylights out of my skin. I've been using the HaruHaru Black Rice Airyfit all summer! I've also tried and enjoyed the Purito centella one (it's packed away so I don't recall the name) and the Tocobo cica one (same problem). And for reapplication, the Tocobo Cica Cooling sun stick. Highly recommend any and/or all!
Great to have your suggestions for Korean skin care again. It's how I found you back in the day! The link with discount was great. I picked up some old favourites and added a few new ones to try. I was delighted that shipping to Canada was also included! Much appreciated!
I need a video ASAP for people who have dry skin but live in a crazy humid place.🙂 every cream is extremely heavy in about 2 minutes of putting it on, or they don’t hydrate my skin enough.
Dry and dehydrated skin born and raised in a caribbeam island here. What worked for me was using a hydrating toner or even the iunik tea tree serum that hyram recommended ( i love it) and then a lightweight cream. Im loving right now the purito B5 panthenol re barrier cream, it's lightweight but hydrating, really good ingredients. I leave the heavy creams for the night. Hope it helps you. Good luck in your skin journey.

I'm new to Korean skincare and honestly your videos have helped me SO much. It would be amazing if you go more in depth for like layering techniques or even exfoliants. I've been debating on trying their peel masks for whiteheads and blackheads but there are so any and I have no clue where to start lol 😅
I've been to South Korea. It's funny how people go nuts over Korean skin products, yet so many people in Korea use the plainest Nivea cream and THEY LOVE IT. I do like using their cultural 7 veil approach of just layering moisture (even if it's the same essence, or toner). I find a lot of value in just layering. Elf is still my favourite toner (I don't get SKII. I hate the scent and overall, just didn't like it). I do like Dr. Jart essence but it's a bit too strong to use every single day. I love Dr. Jart yellow cream. Thank you for making the video. I really appreciate you sharing all your knowledge. I might buy a few things from Stylevana. Thank you again.
You literally can't overapply the stick sunscreen, to reach that spf on the label you need to do like 30 swipes, which nobody does. That's why it is better for reapplication rather than base protection.
I can't recommend enough the Round Lab Birch Juice Moisturizing Sun Cream SPF50+ because the whitecast very quickly, and I mean within a couple of minutes, fades and you won't notice it's there. Also, while you do still need a moisturizer, the little bit of added moisturizing is appreciated.

I went to Brisbane last week, and I found a Korean skincare store right near the bus station, so while I was waiting to catch the train home, I had a look around and got some beauty of josan sunscreen!

Question 1: you can use your cleanser to remove dirt and sunscreen if you use it twice. Just be sure your cleanser isn’t stripping the oils of your skin! Question 4: yes! I want to try the SOM BY ME AHA, BHA AND PHA cleanser but I use tretinoin at night and vitamin c during the day. Does this play well with both of these?
Just a warning to anyone new to skincare here ⚠️⚠️ YOU DO NEED A LOTION SUNSCREEN, especially if the UV index is 3 or above some time during the day. By only using a stick sunscreen, you're applying less than the 2mg/cm² at which SPF tests are done! THIS MEANS YOU'RE NOT GETTING THE FULL PROTECTION MARKED ON THE LABEL. The amount of protection that you get from your sunscreen highly depends on the amount you're using. For your entire face, it's regularly around 2 finger lenghts worth of lotion sunscreen (and 1 additional one for your neck). You probably should also reapply your sunscreen every two hours if you're staying in the sun for a while (this is where a stick sunscreen really shines, bc they're so easy to use). Although MOST IMPORTANTLY, the best protection against UV damage is sun avoidance (try not to stand in direct sunlight when possible, even when wearing sunscreen!). SEEK SHADE!
@@silviafabiolatalaveragalva5245 it takes a super long time in terms of what we are used to with Amazon. I get mine within a month or so. Hey guys can u please help me with this question I have? I was wondering what you do for nighttime, is it just the same routine but without sunscreen? Much appreciated if anybody would help me thanks
I'm confused by the SOME BY MI - AHA-BHA-PHA 30 Days Miracle Acne Clear Foam because I have a list of acne causing ingredients that a dermatologist gave to me. Avoiding those acne causing ingredients has helped me SO much with my acne. The SOME BY MI has a few of those ingredients
I can recommend a few depending on what you need. I'd recommend Mixoon Bean essence- good for hydration and light exfoliation and good price point. VT PRN is more expensive but also vegan has anti ageing benefits not just hydration.. If you want a really good basic one the Aestura Barrier cream is a good basic repairing one
I started Korean skincare with Stylevana about 2 years ago and k beauty skin care since 2020. I rarely buy American or European products only if I have a specific skin concern like acne scars which I’m currently using Faded by Topicals which has really helped reduce their appearance. #GOK-beauty
HI I also want to mention all the chemicals the u.s. allows in skin care products is also why they feel horrible and most don't work as well. Korea dose not allow any chemicals and is more natural and actually dose what it claims with lots of clinical studies. it's also easy to tell when the products expires because the date is actually on most products. I feel like when you see results you will continue to use the products more vs U.S products you keep buying more that don' work. Thanks love your videos
Does anyone know if it's ok to use a cleansing balm and a cleansing oil? Like I'm currently using a cleansing balm to remove my makeup... if I wanted to incorporate a cleansing oil should that be its own step or should I use the oil in replace of the balm? Would the oil work to remove my makeup?
If you want to try out a cleansing oil, it would replace the balm. Cleansing oils and balms both work great in taking off makeup. Personally I own a cleansing oil, a cleansing balm, and a water-based cleanser. When I'm at home I usually use the cleansing oil first and a water-based cleanser second, and when I travel (which is quite often bc my family lives 3h away) I take the balm with me since it's so handy for travel, no spills lol. You could buy an oil if you want and rotate between that and the balm, just to see what you like 🙂
Does anyone know if I have to be in a certain price point to use the code or if the code isn't working for me since I've chosen products with discounts already in
DO NOT, and I repeat DO NOT use stick sunscreens as your only sunscreen. Lab Muffin Beauty Science made a great video why they are not enough. You need a regular sunscreen as the base for them to work properly. They are a nice way to re-apply, but don't work as your only sunscreen. Because you need a hefty amount to reach the 50 SPF rating.
Has anyone had a bad experience with Stylevana? I place an order for $137 on July 18th and have not gotten my package or any answers from the costumer service team.
I wanna order the last sunscreen but Stylevana F’d me over the last time I ordered. I didn’t receive my product, & they said I couldn’t get my money back 😤 I don’t wanna order through them anymore :/ I NEED MORE DRUGSTORE SUNSCREEN RECOMMENDATIONS FOR OILY SKIN PLEASE 😭😭😭 🙏

I'm going to korea in two weeks lol so this video came right on time. I'm a guy and tbh I don't know much about skin care. I mostly just do sunscreen.
Thank you Hyran
I'm confused by the SOME BY MI - AHA-BHA-PHA 30 Days Miracle Acne Clear Foam because I have a list of acne causing ingredients that a dermatologist gave to me. Avoiding those acne causing ingredients has helped me SO much with my acne. The SOME BY MI has a few of those ingredients
Could you look at the brand Glamfox? Its made In korea. I saw It at TJ MAXX Today and wanted to buy It, but It was super cheap so Idk about quality
I use a line called Incellderm from Riman.
I would love for you to try it and give a review on it.
Do you have a suggestion for a serum for dry sky but that's vegan? (i.e without the snail mucin) Love the video! thanks!
Would LOVE recommendations for Korean barrier moisturizing creams 😍 Hyram or anyone?!
I started Korean skincare with Stylevana about 2 years ago and k beauty skin care since 2020. I rarely buy American or European products only if I have a specific skin concern like acne scars which I’m currently using Faded by Topicals which has really helped reduce their appearance. #GOK-beauty
What do you think about japanese skincare?
HI I also want to mention all the chemicals the u.s. allows in skin care products is also why they feel horrible and most don't work as well. Korea dose not allow any chemicals and is more natural and actually dose what it claims with lots of clinical studies. it's also easy to tell when the products expires because the date is actually on most products. I feel like when you see results you will continue to use the products more vs U.S products you keep buying more that don' work. Thanks love your videos
Perfect ❤❤❤
You could buy an oil if you want and rotate between that and the balm, just to see what you like 🙂
@@lauraanderson8785omg this is so helpful thank you so much!! :)
Sunscreen irritates my eyes, do you have any suggestions
Coupon not working😢
Does anyone know if I have to be in a certain price point to use the code or if the code isn't working for me since I've chosen products with discounts already in
Bro are you really saying your iunik moisturizer is better than the beauty of josean red bean moisturizer!!!!!
Hyram have you actually used that some by mi cleanser? It's pretty effective but god is it stripping! It really leaves your skin sqeeky
I wanna order the last sunscreen but Stylevana F’d me over the last time I ordered. I didn’t receive my product, & they said I couldn’t get my money back 😤 I don’t wanna order through them anymore :/
I NEED MORE DRUGSTORE SUNSCREEN RECOMMENDATIONS FOR OILY SKIN PLEASE 😭😭😭
🙏
Okay but hyram used to only recommend mineral sunscreens and lately he's recommending ones that are hybrid formulas i guess?
The skin1004 stick is greasy on my dry skin i hate it
Its just grease on top of ur skin
Can you do a review on viral korean skincare device Medicube please, need genuine review from you as I can’t trust anyone else 😊
Love love love
Also, where do you usually order your Korean skincare from? (I live in the in the USA)😂😂
EDIT: Hahahaha I just realized you brought up Stylevana in this video, but I’d still love to hear any other companies that ship from Korea to USA 🫣
No cuz THANK YOU. So many people have been needing this video 🫶🏻
I use iunik beta glucan moisturizer- it’s a staple. If they ever discontinued I’ll be destroyed 😂
It is a pity numbuzin products prices have gone up😮
Anyone else having problems using the code?
