Very tidy looking car, and it sounds sweet as a nut. Sounds good when you rev it from the bad boy exhausts. Classy and practical...well, as practical as a 21 year old should be going.
Solution for Subaru Fuel Consumption: My Uncle used to install a block of wood under the gas peddle of his cars, as a fuel saving device, to prevent him from going too fast and from using too much fuel. It also prevented overtaking!
Wow Isaac. That car looks fabulous. I love it. Really smart, love the colour and the black leather. The sound is excellent. Very special. Those Subaru boxers are one of a kind. Brilliantly engineered. The dash might be improved by using a special plastic filler for dashboards. I can't remember the name of it, but if you need it give me a reply and I will look up the name and supplier for you.
I'm betting that you'll be as pleased as we were with our first Legacy Wagon. It hauled us - adults and kids, plus pets and mountain bikes around for many happy years.Up hill, down dale and through snow that required snow tires. Given that we live in a rust-belt, it's dependability was unreal. I'm quite frankly jealous, because your model is no longer available in Canada
Congratulations Isaac! Nice car. I'll even overlook the automatic. But seriously, I hope the electrical issues are sorted now. But with a deep rebuild, little hiccups like that are almost inevitable. And I do believe a set of new wheels would be a nice upgrade when budget allows.
Really ace condition. My Subaru’s seemed to be really prone to door dings in car parks - thin metal and big panels - so park in corners / not next to cars with kid seats in the back … And don’t over polish or try and paint correct. If it’s not had paint in the past, factory clearcoat is very thin on scoobies - even trying to buff out light hedge rash once or twice made mine go through. Lovely bit of kit 👍
Subaru is underrated in Europe, they are absolutely great cars! My Subaru (2003 Outback, 475.000km on lpg) has a cracked dash too… Another thing you wanna look at is the rubber strips guiding the door’s windows on the outside…. mine appear to be worn; they scratched the glass of the windows and cause a horrible noise when opening the windows if dry! I suppose it is a good idea to replace the seals before they cause scratches! I wish you all the best with your Legacy Isaac! Greetings,Henk.
A video with no clickbait title. Well done. You sound excited with no moaning. Nice, quick tour and to the point. Keep it looking as it does. Oh, don't leave your keys around and let Lee crash it, and don't paint it orange.
Well done mate lovely car. Not very often I comment but thought must do on this incredible day for you. I do comment on the barum channel but Lee never replies 😅 well done Izak 👍 Lee,, 5:51 only joking mate, your a great boss 👍
Lovely looking car Isaac... I had one of the last my00 impreza turbo..... absolutely loved it... had it 9yrs from new..... was sorry to see it go but just wasn't using it enough.......
I would wait until the tires are worn out before buying wheels, then maybe change the wheel size and fresh tires. But if some used wheels jump at you for a really good price...
Nice to see it done… forget lowering it and messing about with it…. “Ideal” as it is ! You should put ‘Subaru’ in the video title to maximise recommendations and views….
Hi Issac, this guy on the the had troubles with his subaru, and had it into the dealer twice without them fixing it !! if you go to 14:21 minutes on the video, this is where the Subaru info starts...how this can be of some help...good luck with the fixing...
before you change the radio you can buy a dropper that takes UK radio signal and drops it down to what the imported radios take, the display will tech be wrong but your get the full FM scale radio stations.
Factory legacy wheels from about 2008 onwards were pretty good looking sporty wheels - if you can get some from a breakers that would be the shoestring way to go - unless you go with Chinesium Alloys … 🥴
Those bumper clips are a pain, there is a clip screwed to the inside, but the bumper side that clips into it bends over time then it doesn't hold, no easy solution really.
There ARE higher stall torque converters and the trans CAN be modified to shift better/faster. The factory AT Subaru stuff is lame for any sort of performance
Nice car Isaac! You're like a dog with two dicks the way you are smiling . You have a grin from ear to ear! It sounds lovely, I'd get that exhaust blow fixed pronto and it will sound even better and probably save yo a few pennies in petrol, though I think your right foot may override the savings lol. Enjoy it, you've worked hard for it and it's your first of I bet many engines you will build for yourself in the future now you have the skills to do it( as long as you're employed where the are the proper machines!)
Nice, cool looking motor, Issac. Well done for hanging in there. The beast. Nice. Cheers.
I don't think Chris wanted to give you the car back ..... listen to that baby

Never really wanted a Subaru until now. Lovely car. Great job.
Yesss!!! Glad yu got it! All your hard work on that engine has paid off. With a turbo, it must go like a scalded cat. Lovely sound!

Looks great! Worth all the patience.

Isaac be careful patching the passenger side dash as it may hamper the airbag deploying properly
Issac, just left you a comment on the main channel about the engine noise.
Looks and sounds great
Picked up Friday broken by the following Friday 😅😅
