Well, you've confirmed that I am on the right track. I have been researching ships for some time in anticipation of starting as a player in Star Citizen. It's pretty much between the Titan and the Nomad for me and I keep going back and forth on which I prefer.
Great review and spot on. My Titan and my Cutty Black are probably my most used ships. Titan when I'm alone and the CB with friends. Both great ships that I've bought, melted, and bought again.
I appreciate the thought and effort that go into your reviews. A new car doesn't stay new forever. I appreciate the worn appearance to an extent especially since I think it helps with immersion. I do like the idea of a flight hours unlocked worn version of a skin. I also think skins for the retired government run varients would have been ionteresting. Just have an obviously discolored area where the advocacy markings would be. The dead screens have been an annoyance for me. Seems like it should have been easy to add a basic numerical ship's status to those screens.
I just found your channel yesterday, and I'm really enjoying your videos! You are doing a very good job, and I hope you get more viewers and subscribers! I also hope the Avenger Titan gets a gold pass sometime in the near future. As you said, even just a weapon rack and component access would make a big difference. Plus, if we could open and close doors and change the lighting, that would make the interior feel a lot more cozy in my opinion; opening the door to the cockpit would somewhat substitute for the lack of a skylight or other window. I would love if there was some kind of window and wish that more ships had windows for their interiors.
Thank you very much! Agree with you, the Titan is a ship that deserves to be update as soon as possible, and you summed up all the urgent changes it needs. And consider that updating the TITAN means updating 4 ships instead of just 1.What are they waiting for? :) Let's cross the finger mate
What they mean by front-line carrier PLANE is not that it carried cargo, but that it was a Carrier based ship. It small QT tank means it had to be carried by bigger ships to the front-lines, like the Gladius and the Hornet that took it's place, it was a pure fighter that got retrofitted as a cargo hauler.
[EDIT --> it turns out to be right (and I was srong) check next comments] Honestly I doubt your interpretation. It was a small military cargo vessel and a training ship. I agree that tjlhe original description is frankly misleading. But it would make no sense to use an Avenger as a front-line attack fighter, when Hornets, Gladiuses and Vanguards were already available. In fact, there is no footage of Avengers being transported by carriers, while there are many of the Hornet. Thank you anyway for your comment, if you have found any source that provides more info, I'll be very happy to check it
@@gioru5 For reference "Aegis Dynamics Lore Tour I Invictus Launch Week 2952" by TheAstroHistorian. Starts at 18:30. The Avenger was the main fighter ship of the Messer regime against the Vanduul, it was replaced by the Hornet after 30 years because it wasn't very good at it. The Advocacy loved the adaptibility and adopted it as a patrol craft instead. The cargo and bed are new designs by the advocacy, the bed used to be the 2nd seat and the cargo area was used as ammo storage and to place the then much bigger modules from over 200 years ago.

I love the Space Penguin and have two, a Stalker and a Titan w/ starter pack for a giveaway prize. The Avenger rework was a big improvement giving the front entry as well as the back.
@@gioru5I love your videos and we have nearly 95% of the same thoughts to ships but the flight model of the Avenger especially in Atmo is just a trashcan even worse than the cutter
I am so glad that you like my videos, thank you! Mmmm, I agree it's not great, but I thought it was at least decent in atmo. I used it again a few days ago and I was still quite satisfied. Im so curious now, could it be that they changed the flight model? When was the last time you used it (if you don't mind me asking)? I might have missed something...
I would like to see more rockets on the 125a and a nose weapon that’s fixed and maybe just the nose looks out like on the vanguard. Maybe a second shield at barely minimum
Dude. I have played since 3.0. I have been a backer for a decade. I have NEVER noticed the similarities between the Avenger and the Vanguard. *FACE PALM*
I just really dislike the bent nose of the Titan, it looks to me like it crashed into a wall and never got repaired. Also the nose gun is way too big and looks pretty stupid in my opinion. Same as with the Vanguard unfortunately, because I really like the Vanguard otherwise. For me it's always design over function in games, so I'll probably never get the Titan. Great review again, I think yours are some of the best on UA-cam.
It's hard to disagree with you, if it weren't for the Nomad, the Titan would have been the ugliest starter for me. Thank you very much for the compliments 😁
Yeah, you're welcome! That was while it was still a concept ship, so I think once they started modeling it with the size 5 (and remember, this was the original, small Avenger), they realized how out of proportion it was and lowered the size of the nose gun. Of course, gun sizes, ship sizes, everything at that period was still in transition phase.

The trusty space penguin deserves a gold pass. How about a like/dislike on the Freelancer, Vanguard, and Spirit?
I just want the titan to get a gold standard pass
It totally deserves it, it's a great starter
