Sometimes it’s tricky to keep up with what is and isn’t bugged patch to patch - forget what I said about stealth components & just go military grade A for everything to get better distortion shutdown recovery 👍
@@3eezie483 best thing to do imo is wait for a free fly (there’ll be one in October or November) - that way you can give it a go for a week and decide based on that 👍
Thanks for the guide! I should definitely give this a try. I'm pretty new to SC, but compared to 2 years ago, it's cool to see how the game has become much more playable technically. Last time I played I literally could not complete even a single delivery mission due to misc bugs. This time my gameplay is way more smooth.
This arrived just in time. I was salvaging in my Vulture today and ended up with 3 boxes of various illegal substances. Thanks for letting me know how and where to unload them! The extra 120k was handy.
There's also the waste disposal personal missions that, for ArcCorp at least, have a 1 in 3 chnace to give you a direction marker to Paradise Cove. Get that missions and then as it were, dont finishe it.
The fact that server shareds are linked is annoying. Idk how many other people I'm competing with for cargo. I'd rather each shard have it's own supply and they adjust the restock rate if necessary.
Yeah it’s definitely an imperfect system for sure, and like you say there’s nothing you can do about your competitors - e.g. you and your org can’t “lock down” one of the drug labs and control the supply.
@@LoudGuns any Org trying to make a monopoly might be a problem. But a good criminal system and the almighty A2, Eclipse, Retaliator ships might solve that in any EXTREME circumstance. But that is a solid reason. Any others you can think of just to make me feel better?
Nice video Loadguns. @Darnelj1 I actually think this is one of the best "features" ... it is server meshing tier zero, or maybe -1 The very beginning of global player interaction, and if there is a game loop that needs to be global, it is trading. Unsolicited suggestion to CIG, I DON'T think it would be technically difficult to add a crowd of NCPs at trade locations based on the number of players across all servers within a radius of that trade terminal. This would also be a good way to test server meshing - communicating locational data without any downsides.
@@gregalden1101 So is meshing just player actions being copied through the servers? Not players actually seeing and interacting with other players? Idk what the whole vision is.
Good video but you can totally fill up a cutty black if you buy up all drugs available at each stop. It is a very mixed load but it works very well with the cutty.

thank you for taking the time to make all these videos . As a new player they have been very helpful ,, shiny ships are going to have to wait though as i keep losimg my money and gear everytime i get up to about 300k
Nicely done, LG: clear and simple as usual. I can echo the 315p as a good choice, too for all the reasons you gave and add that if you've got a cash shop one it can even get a nice lo-vis paintjob. :)
Cool guide dude for a second I was excited that stealth was working but it's still busted lol It's cool your org is producing videos I look forward to seeing more
Sometimes I do these runs in my Vulture. Has the right size cargo grid, and hopefully when pirates see me they assume I'm out salvaging, not making deliveries of "The Devil's Lettuce" and they leave me alone. 😂
One thing I'd like to point out is the ship loadouts. Stealth has been completely broken for ages. Stealth components do nothing to hide your ship and may actively hinder you. The things you'll want to do for stealth are to get hull modifiers (only "cargo" ship to do this in my knowledge would be the hornet ghost with a cargo pod from the standard hornet) and shutting off shields and weapons. Stealth components can hinder you with your shields where the distortion reboot time for S1 grade A stealth shields is 3x the time for S1 grade A military shields.
Stealth fit shouldn't really do anything. Best to go with a full military fit. The only thing that currently reduces signature is unequipping items. It's a good idea to build good stealth gameplay habits, but they don't matter right now. Even the suppress IR in the heat MFD and stealth mode in the power MFD do nothing, because players still see your regular value. Best to turn on the HUD numerical values for IR, CS and EM and just keep an eye on those as a rough guide to how stealthy you're being.
@@LoudGuns the EM and IR on the erkul ship summary are the only numbers that matter right now. Cross section is the range that a ship usually gets detected anyways
Is there any use for the Hull A? in your trader video you said anything less than 100 SCU is not good for trading, and here more than 24 SCU is too much for smuggling. Where does the Hull A fit into this, or is everything between 24 and 100 ill suited for cargo or smuggling?
I'd stress that longer term I reckon the Hull A has an interesting place in the game - it's the cheapest way to get 64SCU of cargo space so when we have haulage missions or we're running inter-system Hull C / D's and need smaller ships to do the final mile of orbit to atmo it could really have a place. For me though it just doesn't have a great place in the current game if you care about your aUEC / hr type rates.
I've been doing this for a while now with a 315p. I've never once filled it with slam alone, not even during very off-peak times (the only time I ever do this), there's never enough. I always have to dip down to the next thing.
Avoidance is best. The few ships that do have shielded cargo areas are just small areas of the cargo holds not the whole cargo hold, in the 315p I assume it's the smaller trunk area with 4 SCU. But there's not a way to easily make sure that's where your cargo is being stored. And I don't think the shielding is actually in game yet. But with the right components the 315p can have the best stealth out of any ship in game, except for maybe the 135c, but that only has 6 SCU.
Guide? I am stuck at the pannel where it dosent show my ship with 3 scu space landed at the pad at all. It says all inventories full. There is no ship listed.
Bought the stealth hornet pack back in 2012... Trying to play the game for the first time really. Guess I'll come back in another few years when stealth actually is a thing
Cutty black and load her up. Go hard or go home 😂 No, but in all seriousness, you shouldn't bet more than half your money at a time until you're sustained. I do fill the cutty with everything available at a time but the risk is high but so is the reward. Manyer time ive been lucky to dodge a 30k by minutes while outlaying hundreds of thousands of auec.
As an avid pirate myself, it absolutely shocks me the number of traders who show up to an outpost with two, three, even four+ pirates who are already there waiting on someone or something else, and elect to load up cargo anyways. As much as this will hurt my own pirating endeavors, it hurts me to some degree preying on someone who is just bumbling around basically AFK trading, so please do better than that. If there are ships like cutlass blues, mantis, hawks, warlocks, etc, hovering around the outpost, just go to the next one, and it's probably worth picking an entirely new planet to try to trade within.
Everyone knows the best smuggling ship is fill the 6 scu shielded cargo of an msr with Widow and then the rest with Beryl. The "I'm not a smuggler" smuggling build.

Go look at my most recent videos, you’ll find a few about the illegal salvage missions. In terms of “why” though - the answer is 235m credits. Once you make that you buy every ship in the game. At that point if you’re not playing for the gameplay and to hone skills for the future (smuggling might be your jam) then there’s no point.
