This can be more profitable than the other methods for beginners to earn cash. But I must give some warnings: - During prime time it is likely to find very little or none of the desired ore. If so, Titanium is less profitable but you can usually fill your hull with it so that your run isn"t wasted. - If you notice any lag or server misbehavior DO NOT do this or any other task that requires you to invest, as it is very likely to get the mystery explosion bug entering or exiting the hangar. I lost half of my capital this way. Did nothing wrong, ship exploded and 30k protection did not apply to this. I suspect that as a new player you might want to invest the cash you earn as follows to improve your income. - Cutlass Black. A bit over 1mil. - ROC, for early mining. 200k. Might not be necessary if you do cargo this way. - Prospector. 2mil. Mining, refining, then using the Cutlass Black to sell at a major station. - C2 Hercules or Caterpillar. For big cargo runs and great profit. - Eventually a Vulture... but it is not available yet. Probably soon. - If you like ship combat... insett a Gladius early on into this list.

Congrats on the channel growth! Hopefully you'll hit 1000 soon! My Kickstarter ship is a Freelancer MIS and my daily driver is a 400i, neither of them are big cargo haulers, so these are good pointers to get started in trading.
Solid video Thank you ! it makes the whole Cargo run look simple and not too riski i might have a look into it myself today.What i would like to see is some kind of rent to pay video where you rent a Cutlass Black for 1 day and see if you can make enought profit with it so that at the end of the day you can buy the ship haha.
The cutlass black is such a great ship I think, for me it’s the perfect all round ship, you can do so much with it, I was thinking about doing a new series on YT which involves starting again on a fresh account and making as much money as possible, almost a rags to riches type series lol
I originally didnt like the black. But its rigid utility won me over for low risk odd job missions. Running boxes, bunkers or small vehicle transport. Its a solid daily driver when I want something quick. Normally I run connie. But the cargo bay is a tad buggy.
Use the trade tools such as UEX to find places to buy and places to sell. Orison should've been the place that you sold to get the most profit from your Beryl (AFAIK).
I love the cutty as it's quite versatile. Can do some fighting and some cargo runs. With space for an ROC it's also a cheaper mining solution than the Prospector that both costs more and is only good for mining, and only that
personal tab maintenance runs while grabbing illegal trade at the same time seems to work well for low outlay, especially if you have a fast low range qt drive (325a and it's beacon) as you can typically stay in the one planet and it's moons. The missions will literally run you randomly between supply and drop offs.
@@matsbacklund6471 i just got the game this week. Did beginner quests and i started with 45k. Spent it before this vid and i ended up doing Mercenary and Bounty quests. Got the cutlass black and now im cargo running Stims and it’s pretty decent for my low amount of money.

For new players it's important to point out your ship always takes some damage in flight and the larger the ship the more expensive the repair costs.

Yea I love the Connie too they are such great ships, but as you say the cargo can be a bit iffy.

cargorunning for new players? no new player have 100k plus 30k ship rental.
I started off with 200k auec like everyone else.. i own the black though but was able to do some cargo in the titan just not as profitable
