Which tour did you think they sounded the best? I thought the Bad Animals 87-88 tour was the best because they used more distortion and sounded as heavy as their early music is. But '85-86 and the Brigade Tour I didn't think they sounded that good -- way too bright (not much bass) and poppy.
@@Loralye276it would make a wonderful wedding song. I hope the wedding that never happened was to your betterment and God eventually brought you your true soul mate. 😊
This song popped into my head a few days ago out of the blue. I'm sure I haven't heard it in 20 plus years. I was thinking this isn't the Heart music I grew up on but it was, just a little more pop than what I've thought of as prime Heart. I was wrong. The harmonies and structure build so well! This is a great song! It's got that wall of sound going for a few seconds there at the end that you just want to keep going on and on.
I remember the first time I saw this video on MTV. I was blown away with the sound and the emotion in the song. From that point, I couldn't get enough of Heart's music. Glad for CD's, cassettes and vinyl.
Listened to Heart over and over back in the day; that woman had a set of lungs on her. Still listen to this great legendary band. Thanks Heart for all the memories!
If there is a Heaven... I will be a flashback love interest of Ann Wilson's in the 80s... the most amazing female lead singer in rock history!... KUDOS Ann and Nancy... a mega-fan here of ALL your superhits!
And even today, in The Jetson's 2020, radio stations won't play women's music back to back. Years ago, can't remember who it was, a woman rocker was interviewed and asked "why was it so hard to find a record label back then?" And she said it wasn't hard if you were men and she was told more than once the label already had their "J" lady (meaning Judy C, Joni M, or Joan B) and they didn't need any more. Thank God for Heart. ♥️
I adore Heart! From childhood when my mom introduced me to them, blaring Barracuda on our record player, all through the 80's as a teenager, to current day as a 50+ woman who cherishes the memories and still loves to turn up the speakers and rock out to Heart. I've celebrated milestones and grieved through rough patches in my life while listening to their music. It never gets old!
80s are just great. Music, hair, movies, all of it. Young people (I should know, being 17 years old) should really appreciate our parents' generation more. I think it's sad to see people bash power ballads (greatest genre ever), as if they're afraid to admit they have feelings! There was so much good energy in this kind of music, and the 90s onward ruined it. Now everything is so negative. I wish I could've grown up in the real 80s, but I'll just have to settle for plugging in my headphones and listening to my massive 80s playlist, imagining myself in that time...
+Billis Lopez, yeah we had some good times in the 80's. I'm almost 47, but I have a 30 yr old immune system after getting a stem cell transplant from a 27 yr old 4 yrs ago! I had a brief period in my life where I wasted my time w/ the mostly garbage 90's and beyond music., but I eventually went back to a lot of the 80's rock. Funny thing is, I did not see that many of the great bands live back then, only a few mostly heavy metal bands and then mostly garbage bands after that. Then I was sick for a long time and wasn't really into music. Now, I enjoy the 80's rock more than I ever did, and if I have to sit and listen to it by myself 30 yrs after the fact, then so be it.
Son, I was there. I lived it, breathed it, and partied all the way through it. Teased hair, tons of makeup, dated a guitar player. lived that life. Yes I miss it. Those were my high school & college years and I look back on them fondly, but like you, I wish I'd come of age in the 60s!
Billis Lopez This song and video may have came out in the very early 80s but make no mistake about it: "Heart is a 70's band" that was/is so talented that their music has continued to inspire many for decades.
Well they were actually a co-ed band like Fleetwood Mac, but Ann and Nancy got all the attention. They were a democratic band of six equals in the 70s, then in the 80s it was Ann, Nancy, and Howard Leese as the leaders/owners and two hired hands. Then after Howard sold his share it was Ann, Nancy, and backup musicians. They actually had a great band family in the 2000s, and 2010s until Ann's jerk of a husband assaulted Nancy's kids. That ended Heart for all practical purposes, and now it's Ann, Nancy, and a bunch of random session musicians.
I know they have had better hits than Nothing at All,But this hit song both really holds those hit songs together very really very strongly well indeed.NAA is a very great work also as a Music Song and it was both excellently presented and very well preformed, when it was released and definitely when it emerged and was uncanny with it's greatness as a long running run;and ❤was achieved with the true love that it was well bestowed to the public masses throughout much of the world.Heart was both brilliant and well accomplished with remarkablilty.Thank You truely Ann and Nancy and company. Including this song rightfully true.
I've always had a crush on these two beautiful rockers. Their vocals and looks take my breath away to this day. The Wilson sisters are brilliant and gorgeous.
I saw heart live at deer creek in noblesville indiana 4 or 5 years ago and night ranger opened first but heart fnking killed it with the zeppelin songs Ann can sing her ass off even now I mean it was awesome they got 2 standing ovations can’t member headliner
Living in NY in the 80’s in the dead of winter on a Friday night, 10 degrees out cruising in my car and heart came on…volume went way up, windows went down and the pedal to the metal! Nothing like it!
The funny thing to me is those three huge 80s/early 90s albums got better with each one, but the choice of singles got worse. Brigade was the best and heaviest of those albums but Capitol was trying to milk all the power ballads so the four singles were all power ballads that made Heart sound whiny.
Just doesnt get any better than this! Legends! :) Glad Ann and Nancy are still performing...hey, did any guy growing up in the 80s like me NOT have a crush on Nancy? Or both?

This is by far their best song. It was going to be my wedding song (there ended up not being a wedding). I think it’s a great wedding song
@@Loralye276it would make a wonderful wedding song. I hope the wedding that never happened was to your betterment and God eventually brought you your true soul mate. 😊
That voice...perfection
This song popped into my head a few days ago out of the blue. I'm sure I haven't heard it in 20 plus years. I was thinking this isn't the Heart music I grew up on but it was, just a little more pop than what I've thought of as prime Heart. I was wrong. The harmonies and structure build so well! This is a great song! It's got that wall of sound going for a few seconds there at the end that you just want to keep going on and on.
Im hearing it after almost 35 years!!!!love it
False you didn’t know you heard it. It was probably subliminal like at a grocery store or gas stations play it a lot
I did the same thing !....out of nowhere I heard a verse...
Same here! Out of nowhere too lol
@@khadijakhashe2319 yikes it is like 35 years ,christ that went by too quickly
I say this is the best voice ever, and the sisters absolutely own the hair category.
I remember the first time I saw this video on MTV. I was blown away with the sound and the emotion in the song. From that point, I couldn't get enough of Heart's music. Glad for CD's, cassettes and vinyl.
And now we have UA-cam
The first time we saw this video we seriously thought Ann and Nancy were being lesbians in the bedroom scene. This is a really silly video.
Listened to Heart over and over back in the day; that woman had a set of lungs on her. Still listen to this great legendary band.
Thanks Heart for all the memories!
she is NOT Canadian. They moved to Vancouver back in the day to become part of a band there. They're from Seattle.
@otherworld11, I fixed it, 😊
From an era when singers 'sang' and songs were meaningful. Ahhh, nostalgia.
If there is a Heaven... I will be a flashback love interest of Ann Wilson's in the 80s... the most amazing female lead singer in rock history!... KUDOS Ann and Nancy... a mega-fan here of ALL your superhits!
Ann's Voice Is clean & powerful
And Beautiful Band
One of their most exciting songs ever! It never lacks a beat at all!
Words cannot express how much I love this song
what a voice! you can't deny it......please the best voice in rock n roll in a massive number or years. I love Ann Wilson!
So well said. This song is my favorite of the band and I always listen to it when I fall in love with someone.
You oughta listen to it in your car very loud I bet your car be rockin hard..
Welll. Said🌎🍃🍃🍃🍃❄️🩵👣♒️keep. Rocken
+Billis Lopez same here, if i compare the 80s music and music nowadays, the modern music really stinks
The most overrated decade....this music is shit.
One of their best. Heart has always been a favorite Lady band of mine. Keep on rocking everybody. 70's and 80's rule.
Always loved Heart and their music since back then and still listen to it now. Great Music 🎶
I will always love the Wilson sisters. You’re both beautiful and so talented.
Hands down one of my favorite Heart songs.
One of my favorite videos of all time. Love the girls, the band, the cats!
Hearts music, and 80's music in general will never let you down!
❤How so beautiful I love them ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤Best band of rock and God bless Anne and Nancy Wilson ❤️
God what voice! Always hits pitch dead center. Love the glam rock videos from that era. Heart was so damn good.
One of the Best Songs of all time. Heart- Nothing at all
I agree!
Heart was and still is the greatest band ever i just love her hair and outfits and could listen to their music forever
Perfect comment. I agree entirely.
Absolutely first-rate song. No question, no discussion, no debate. I don't wish to here it. Move on. Be happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Living in NY in the 80’s in the dead of winter on a Friday night, 10 degrees out cruising in my car and heart came on…volume went way up, windows went down and the pedal to the metal! Nothing like it!
One of my favorite Heart songs!
Right thats it! I'm gonna do my research and build a time machine! Anyone who wants to come back to the 80s is more than welcome
Chris Ross I’m in more than ever dude ! Let’s go !
Drop me off @ 1985!

Ill find a delorian, you get the flux capacitor... And a frizzy haired scientist to install it.
Take me...I cant take all this Bullshit and chaos.
So very happy I grew up in the 80s. The best of times!
Song is very underrated 💕
Ann has the best Rock N Roll voice and Nancy rocks that guitar like no other
Heart is definitely one the things that made the 80's rock.
One of the greatest bands of the 70's 80's and nineties!! Is there a mortal man who hasn't had his heart stolen by Ann, what a dream,.,.,.,
Takes me back to when I was at college and loved this group ! They’re both so pretty and Ann is such a good singer with such a strong voice
Super 80s on steroids! How I miss them! Or not... ❤Love em🌺🌺💃💃🦋🦋😍🇨🇦
Great song and singing by Ann . Nancy was just pure smoke during that era . Sizzle.
Grew up listening to heart . Playing there albums over and over again. What a GREAT generation ! such talented sisters. :)
I'm more a fan of 70s Heart than their 80s songs, but, hard to deny that the 80s Heart was damn good too.
Updated & Polished
The funny thing to me is those three huge 80s/early 90s albums got better with each one, but the choice of singles got worse. Brigade was the best and heaviest of those albums but Capitol was trying to milk all the power ballads so the four singles were all power ballads that made Heart sound whiny.
Anybody gives heart a thumbs down doesn't know what the 80's were about.
Hi Pat,hope you’re okay ?

This is the greatest Heart song ever. I always loved this song.
Yes I agree!
Just doesnt get any better than this! Legends! :) Glad Ann and Nancy are still performing...hey, did any guy growing up in the 80s like me NOT have a crush on Nancy? Or both?
