I met Nancy the day of their first show in Rochester. I worked for the venue and was talking with a couple roadies I knew from previous bands they had worked. I told her I thought the intro to Crazy was incredible and I couldn’t wait to see them do it live. It was just a cool half hour or so. @@mlhowe67 Yes, for those of us who grew up in, and closely followed (age-wise) that era, the reference was well understood. Sadly, the reference holds true, generation after generation and war after war. However, the desire to put death aside, forget for the moment and make love, with tender ferocity, is a human trait and a lovely way to reclaim life...and possibly create it. Decades ago (I'm old) two women friends confessed that the death of parent/in-law led to "increased activity" with their spouses, resulting in the birth of their first child. "You kept me alive with your sweet flowing love", in my friends' cases would have been "We made new life with our sweet flowing love". Whatever, one of my favorite songs and performances!

This was a 1977 performance....BUT Ann Wilson can STILL belt those high pitches that she was doing in the 70's...They are ONE of a Kind....Ann and Nancy Wilson....HEART LIVES ON......ROCK ON Ladies.........
Kind of sad how the music has changed from when they actually played the instruments not machines like we had now, guess we lived good lives in 70s-80s I never forget them
I'm only 41 ...but Nancy Wilson Is the sexiest woman on the planet!!! Damn those skills! And she's still georgious!! Mad respect to the wilson sisters 👏!!!!!

AMEN! I'm a guitarist and got turned on to these musicians when Barracuda came out, I was like 15, the entire band and vocals to this day are unriveled in my opinion, not to mention the beautiful lyrics, Thank you Heart!!
You won’t find any good new music if you refuse to believe it exists. Have a look around, it’s got worse in a lot of places but it also got better in others
There's a lot of excellent, and arguably more talented musicians out there. Buckethead has released over 300 albums. Dream Theater has 5 of some of the most technically skilled musicians out there. Dio, when he was alive, sang some of the best vocal lines ever written within rock/metal. Are these examples, along with hundreds or thousands of other musicians, more talented? Almost definitely. Is their music better? That's mostly subjective.
There is a lot of great talented artists but sadly they are not on the spotlight. They are found in some small dive bars. I saw this young girl in Austin play guitar in the style of Eddie Van Halen. Didn't get a chance to catch her name, but man her technique was unique. Thing is today's singers use autotune and most music today use samples of 70s and 80s music. Originality has left the main stream music industry.
I show people this video for that very kick ! As an impressionable young lady, the best thing my parents did was show me HEART at a super young age. No wonder I become a musician w/my first love being the drums 😁🤘🏽🥁🪘
I saw them in the mid 80's at the Garden State Arts center in NJ. Fantastic show and they sounded just as kick ass, as studio but live is always better. Cheap Trick opened and I loved them too but Heart blew them away.
I love how everything is dark when nancy plays the intro and everyone appears out of nowhere when everything starts showing the spotlight on them. CHILLS
Love this video, Nancy Wilson incredible guitarist. I’m 14 and heart is one of my favorite bands to kick back and play some darts with my grandpa. And the intro to Crazy on you has to be one of my favorites ever! Long live Rock
I took my oldest son to his first show as an early 14th birthday present. He later told me it was the best present ever. We saw Three Day's Grace with Adam, Breaking Ben and Seether. He's now 30 and we still go see shows together. You're never too young to listen to great music and this is timeless. ❤😊 I will go until they plant me 😂
I have seen Heart multiple times over the decades. They are not just among the greatest women rockers of all time... They are among the greatest ROCKERS of all time. Thanks for all your great work Ladies! You are a national treasure.
Nancy Wilson being an complete BADASS here. Playing her intro like a BOSS, perfectly navigating the ebb and flow between fanciful beauty and powerful aggression, before launching the band attack like an absolute BEAST ..Kickass. 🤘
She is a beautiful woman of the 70s,It's sad to see how many women have devolved into tattooed, pierced, masculine, carpet munching ,cum dumpsters.Im glad im almost 60.
This is an insane master piece by Heart with Nancy's guitar solo introduction, Ann's unbelievable high notes, and the two electronic guitarists' final dual.
@happytownesvanzandt AbsoIuteIy, Roger Fisher and Howard Leese, they all made it excellent. This was the best line-up by far. I mean Ann & Nancy always sound good but this was the most creative, hard rocking version of the band and my personal favorite. They were the total package. I love Magic Man too. And their version of Stairway To Heaven at the Kennedy Center tribute to Led Zeppelin was electric. If you haven't listened to it yet you must. The 7 min some longer version. It is a masterpiece 🏆🥇❤
Yea he is a great guitarist ! He was in a bad position in the band ! Drummer and he both liked Nancy . No win situation! You get all them emotions going and I guess I can see where he wigged out ! The original band was dynamic though!!! Love Heart !!!

Cheap Trick opened for them, and I love Cheap Trick but Heart bIew them away. Hands down. These songs take me back to my teenage years and great memories with good friends. ❤
This was a 1977 performance....BUT Ann Wilson can STILL belt those high pitches that she was doing in the 70's...They are ONE of a Kind....Ann and Nancy Wilson....HEART LIVES ON......ROCK ON Ladies.........
Rock on Linda, from a dude.
Her voice is better now :)
Linda Mason the..
I agree they broke up as a band for a while because they wanted and did both fuck the same man. lead guitar!
it's called musical talent it runs in families sometimes
She's an astonishingly good guitarist, just as her sister is a great vocalist. God bless 'em both.
WHO STILL PRESSING PLAY ON THIS ONE IN 2024 BESIDES ME?
'Til the day I die, brother!
Me.
Yo tambien 😊
Me Too movement 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
2024 with a Bang 🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🥁🥁🥁🥁🎇🎇🎇🎇🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The Wilson sisters will forever be a treasure.
Kind of sad how the music has changed from when they actually played the instruments not machines like we had now, guess we lived good lives in 70s-80s I never forget them
These are one of the original women in ROCK & ROLL!!! They don’t need the glitz. This is pure talent!!!
I'm only 41 ...but Nancy Wilson Is the sexiest woman on the planet!!! Damn those skills! And she's still georgious!! Mad respect to the wilson sisters 👏!!!!!
Love those harmonics! Impressive how she makes a guitar sound like a damm piano! 😮😮 Back when you actually had to play.. 😅😅 Feel sorry for todays music in general..
I love how the rest of the band just appears out of the dark
Ann and Nancy Wilson.
The undisputed Queens of rock and roll!
If I’m not mistaken, Ann was voted Best Female Vocalist 3 years in a row. She EARNED it.
I'm 68 years young...I love Heart..MY favorite band..let's Rock and Roll bb..2024
Great spirits
❤ rock on my friend s
My age the same
Still just love loud music rock on
I have Always loved to rock and roll 😂
@@rayleneruud7752 Nice
It's still crazy that one is a legendary acoustic player and the other is a legendary vocalist
Listening to in 2025 im 50 my mom died a year ago she had me young she loved heart i miss my mom we partied hard together love you mama susie no mom like u want her bk this is for u mom
Never again will we see this caliber of raw talent....never
Translation: 'I'll never be young again''
The kick at 2:30 says everything one needs to know about rock music.
I show people this video for that very kick ! As an impressionable young lady, the best thing my parents did was show me HEART at a super young age. No wonder I become a musician w/my first love being the drums 😁🤘🏽🥁🪘
Nancy is iconic here. Her flow is incredible. Just a timeless performance
I had the privilege of attending their Dec 29, 1978 concert in Seattle.
I saw them in the mid 80's at the Garden State Arts center in NJ. Fantastic show and they sounded just as kick ass, as studio but live is always better. Cheap Trick opened and I loved them too but Heart blew them away.
"You don't need to wonder, you're doing fine..."
Fkn awesome
This is what real singing sounds like.....so powerful and authentic.....amazing band
Once upon a time when rock and roll was real
you know "rock and roll" is still very real
What bands do you like?
I rember those days, quite well.
Ann and Nancy were both KNOCKOUTS.. gorgeous and such talent
I love how everything is dark when nancy plays the intro and everyone appears out of nowhere when everything starts showing the spotlight on them. CHILLS
It will never be a generation like this again when a band actually rocked and remember kids this is Live and it sounds that good
Yup!
I love when she goes for the gautar pic you know it's gonna get good lol
I'm sure there will be sooner or later. Remember, our parents said the same thing about us. It comes in cycles. Everything does.
i grew up in the heyday of this. i still listen and enjoy.
most of these songs are now 50+ years old. they just
keep sounding better
We used to say they "cooked".
Forty six years and still fresh.
All of the footage from this concert is unbelievably GREAT. At the top of their game. Right here. Rock and Roll, Baby.
I will go until they plant me 😂
Ann Wilson Best Rock voice in the whole world!
Straight to the heart
Badass guitar intro and then one of most killer sets of pipes the biz has ever seen, bar none. Epic.
Grant, you nailed it. Epic as f**k.
I have seen Heart multiple times over the decades. They are not just among the greatest women rockers of all time... They are among the greatest ROCKERS of all time. Thanks for all your great work Ladies! You are a national treasure.
Magnificently Worded. Sir.
I saw Heart back in Detroit ❤❤❤ Ted Nugent came out as a guest halfway through the show❤❤❤
Nancy Wilson being an complete BADASS here. Playing her intro like a BOSS, perfectly navigating the ebb and flow between fanciful beauty and powerful aggression, before launching the band attack like an absolute BEAST ..Kickass. 🤘
Nancy wilson is so beautiful and fierce at the same time
My dream woman for sure!
@@ShiroiTengu Same
She is a beautiful woman of the 70s,It's sad to see how many women have devolved into tattooed, pierced, masculine, carpet munching ,cum dumpsters.Im glad im almost 60.
I was in love the first time I saw her live.
I would hate to piss her off.
Ann Wilson one of the best female singers then and NOW !!!
Great song, I just heard of Ann Wilson's cancer diagnosis and the cancellation of her 2024 music tour, may she have a speedy recovery. God bless.
I READ ABOUT HER CANCER DIAGNOSIS. SAD.
One of the best band's of all time and if you disagree you have bad taste in music
Nancy just kills it on the intro.
Improvising the shit out of it
Seriously
Yessss
And Roger Fisher kills it the entire rest of the song.
No one cares about Roger.
Saw this great band in concert. Awesome band and show. Heart❤.
Forget TV shows like the voice or American idol, girls, get a band, write your own songs, and go play live. The Wilson sisters know how to rock. 🤘
You don't have to live in Seattle way♥️
Speaking for the millions, Phil.
Don't even mention this in the same square , no comparison a WTF ?
This is an insane master piece by Heart with Nancy's guitar solo introduction, Ann's unbelievable high notes, and the two electronic guitarists' final dual.
Roger Fisher's work on this song is just excellent.
The Hijinx interlude is awesome too!
WOW! HOLY $HIT! T hat was amazing.
Roger Fisher's tone is so fantastic! Very underrated player.
Yea he is a great guitarist ! He was in a bad position in the band ! Drummer and he both liked Nancy . No win situation! You get all them emotions going and I guess I can see where he wigged out ! The original band was dynamic though!!! Love Heart !!!
AbsoIuteIy, Fisher & Howard Leese, they all added to the band and this was the best line up by far. Great sound, creativity and they could rock !! With the Wilson sisters up front, they were the total package.
Ann is a siren, a banshee with a voice that rattles the windows. Good lord what a performance.
❤
Well said
Nancy...so amazing. I appreciate. I've played acoustic since I was 9
I'm 52 have 13 guitar and when I watch u....holy wow. Ty a I can say. Inspired yes please. Th
It’s sometimes hard to believe that there was a time when NEW MUSIC was coming out that sounded like THIS. Almost 50 years ago. This song gets me so amped up haha. It rocks so hard!
Every time I listen to HEART and I feel young again, I wish I could turn back time.
"THAT WAS F#@KIN' AWESOME!"
Figured I'd comment exactly what I said after watching this haha
Growing up with these songs - we had so much energy, laughs and well, fun...😊 today's music is a bummer
