- In this video I'm showing different ways to increase your video quality! I use Premiere Pro for my editing, but most of the things I'm doing is possible in other softwares as well!

@@dudedysseus not really. It's quite a long process to get the movies as mp4. Thats why most editors download them on pirate sites

@@dudedysseus yes, if you have the money and time to do it, I think you should. Cuz it's the most legal way. I never really said did it that way, just that I recommend it. I'm sorry for being complicated about it. If you want the movies, I have links to them in my discord server. The link to my server is in my channel info :)

Just start simple! Download some youtube videos and start editing. You do not have to follow ALL these steps before you can make your first edit. So start simple :)

@@Xx21. I'm editing on a Mac and it works in a decent way. Just remember that Apples computers can't run Sony Vegas, which is a very appreciated software for many editors. So I would just look for the computers with the highest specs. Any type of computer works for editing :)

I do have a question though. I own all of the movies digitally (iTunes, Vudu, etc.), but I can’t seem to import them into Premiere or Final Cut for my edits. How would I go about doing that?
In what format is your movies and can you move them as individual files? If they were to be in MP4, that would be great!

What editing software do you use and what free editing software would you recommend? I am just starting out on youtube, but I know how to edit because I spend a lot of time photoshopping and still know quite a bit on video editing.
I use Premiere Pro as video editing software. It costs a lot. Luckily my school pays for mine. But I know Davinci Resolve is a very good free software :)

My problem with the black bars is that i have to see them , even if my phone is with a 21/9 aspect ratio , and this is annoying a little bit 😅 , i mean i buy a OnePlus 8 pro with 20/9 aspect ratio , 2k , 10 BIT , to see the black bars up and down and right and left 😅😅😅😅

Yeah, it can be annoying on some devices. I keep the 16:9 ratio to be able to make end screens at the end of the video. Last time I did it with the 21:9 ratio, youtube didn't support it for the end screens.

I used adobe premiere and did resolution change then scaled it up but i still got avc1 either way
Sorry to hear. Sometimes, youtube is a mystery. It can also change to the new codec if your video get enough views. Some of my videos were in bad compression quality. But then they got better when they gained views

You can change the sequence settings. Search on google how to change "Sequence Settings". But the quality can be bad because you downloaded from UA-cam, yes. Join my discord server and get access to downloading the whole movies instead 👍
Literally any other FOSS torrent-downloading software is miles better and *safer* than uTorrent.
I suggest you people to instead use transmission (simple) from here transmissionbt.com/download/ or qbittorent (more features) from here www.qbittorrent.org/
Unlike utorrent, both are open-source in addition to being free. Meaning anyone can view and download the source code used to build the software and check for themselves for anything malicious.

Thank you! the codec thing for youtube really helped, I feel like alot of my videos suffer from bad quality because of UA-cams codec. I have a question, In my editing, whenever their is black video, their will typically be some faint red lines in it for some reason, and I don't know how to fix it? :(
If the faint red is the before upload, then it has something to do with the export or the editing. If it only appear after uploading on youtube, it could help to have the better codec :)

Hey, mate! I use Premiere Pro, but that's pretty expensive. You could try Davinci Resolve, there's a really good free version of that. Join my discord server, there's a lot of people there who uses Davinci

Could work. But I think most streaming services won't let you do that.

Wait in older version of Adobe you could crop your shots manually. You didn't need an effect. WHY DID THEY TAKE THAT FEATURE AWAY?!
I mean, what I just did was tp crop the shot manually, using an effect. How would you have done it?
When I rexported my video to QuadHD and play it, it comes out all jaggedy?? the playback is not smooth. Am I missing a step? I went from 1080p to what you recommended to get the VP09 codec.
Is it jaggedy on youtube as well or just when you play the file offline on your PC?

@@eshmawi it may be your software that's lagging. You can either try uploading it private or unlisted on youtube and see if it's still laggy. Or you could get VLC, a software for playing videos on your PC. VLC is one of the best software for viewing videos

Heyy ! I started editing about 1 year ago. And i'm never satisfied with the quality. I really tried everything except buying the movies because i don't know where to buy them and i don't want to waste it for nothing in the end. Do you know where i can buy them and that they can be downloaded on AE?

How would you recommend downloading movies to edit if you don't want to buy every marvel movie, but you also don't want the pirate websites (and not all your clips are found on UA-cam)?
There are communities where people upload the full movies to, that's much safer than pirate sites

I'm starting out as an editor. I know how to get good quality clips but I don't manage to find clips fitting for the edit I might be making. Say I wanted some kind of scene, but I experience memory loss 😅 and forget where the scene was. I can't download the entire movies as well. Any help will be appreciated!

Hey! First of all, I would really recommend downloading the whole movies. If you don't know how, you can join my discord server and we can help you. If you don't have storage, join the discord server and we can help you look for good hard drives to buy. If you don't remember what scenes to use, I can give you some tips. I mark all my movies and clips in Premiere Pro so it's easy to find. And as soon as I get an idea, I write that down in my personal notes, so I can remember it later.

And if I bought all the movies in blu ray, that I converted them to mp4 with leawo blu ray converter and I inspected the mp4 files to see if the conversion ruined the quality, but it didn’t. Do you think it would be a problem in any way even though I think there’s no problem with blu ray conversion?
No, blu ray conversion is also used to get good quality. If it works for you, I recommend you use it :)

@@cinemacontent about 28-30 gigs a movie, quality for me is top notch compared to just using UA-cam clips for movies and shows, I just didn’t rip and convert it to surround sound for better specific audio. I saw you

I do not think they come with the normal digital version. I get my 5.1 versions from my friends :)

I upload them onto my computer they look good from afar but when i zoom in or go full screen the quality completely drops i mean like really drops. I don’t know why it does this. Derreck Doan It’s because it’s protected by DRM, if it was bought on iTunes there’s a program called Noteburner that will remove it.

@@cinemacontent OK it was question for volume settings of movie clips and song when they are syncing perfectly but due to some mistakes of punch volume or blast volume of movie clip, I can't trim it perfectly so by that sometimes bgm of movie clip was lil bit heard by me sometime. No one mark this thing but I jus want to ask this question to you and want solution for it.

I use Premiere Pro and it's not free. You could use something like Davinci Resolve which is a good free software :)
All I do is record my iPhone screen.
