This is THE best 8 minute video I've watched in the last few years. So much high quality information and incredible examples delivered in such a short time. Amazing
I agree and I used to shoot headshot and event photography for 5 years but it was the most brilliant refresher for me especially as I’m considering starting my own UA-cam channel.
I only speak English, and I actually love that you mix your language into the video. It makes me pay closer attention, and I still completely understand the information. You earned a new subscriber off of me today. While knowing English is very useful, this shows that the world is not just meant for English-speakers to access technical knowledge. Please keep up the good work.
I want to THANK you for explaining in detail the reasons behind everything!!! It’s like photography for dummies & as a beginner I appreciate it so much bc it allows me to follow along with you. Other UA-camrs confuse me at some point and that’s when I give up. So thank you again!!!
Best video ever!!! I’ve watched too many UA-cam videos on taking pics and making videos and this is by far the best. Straight to the point no unnecessary stories before arriving to the main point.
There are so many lighting videos on UA-cam, but this one definitely takes the cake! Value of content is through the roof but at the same time is the entertainment and engagement value. The music is so well chosen. Bravo!!
This is the best video out there to learn EXACTLY how to create a pro setup! Straight to the point, no ads or long winded fluff, you CRUSHED this video, thanks!
I have been watching your videos for a year now and how did I forgot to subscribe!? lol I hope guys are doing well and hope to see more of your videos! cheers!
I've been watching cinematic filming tips videos for one hour now, and nobody explained as clear as yours. Very useful tips and straight to the point THANKS!!
I am not an artist, but I just found out recently that I love to do photography and vlogging. And every time I share my thoughts with my siblings, You are the "word of the mouth" of my younger brother. Out of curiosity I search your name here in UA-cam and VIOLA!! There's so much to learn in your videos and I also keep creating more! You are one of my inspiration Miko! I hope to meet you soon! 💯✨🙌🏼🙌🏼
Hi Divine! 4 years ago, I'm just using my phone to capture random clips and photos everywhere and at my school. Until I realized that it was truly my passion, and little did I know that this will be my full time career a year after that. Loving what you do is what really stands out, and being an inspiration to others became a part of my soul which makes me really happy. Please send my thanks to your younger brother, and I want to thank you both for supporting what I do. See you soon and God bless Divine! :)
Wow you pop out in my feed at the right time. I never clicked a video about light adjustment but I am glad I did on your. Just restarted my video creation journey and it’s super useful. Also to know these type of lights.
Awesome! Thanks for not gate keeping the info to yourself. It's great when you can find a creator that shares tips and tricks in simple plain language with no fluff.
Great work man That was good work, not even a second to skip without watching, interesting setup idea for a beginner. Was really helpful for my friend 👍🏼
THANK U FOR YOUR AWESOME breakdown of how the lighting actually affects the shots & with less of the nonsense info a newbie may just need! Absolutely love your accent as well!😊
I love your explanation. One of the awesome tutorial that I ever seen within UA-cam videos regarding lighting setup tutorial. Thank you for your effort to explain it in english. Even it is not 100% fully english, but I understand what you're saying and teaching. Such as 7:21 Perfect for travel, super compact and #$#@!$)(*$!$(*@)# wherever you like 😂😂😂 But its not an issue for me. Perhaps at some moment, inspiring me to learn Tagalog 😄 Keep it up. Always waiting for your new update. The most quality and compact with useful things👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you for appreciating my work! :) I'm speaking mostly in english because I want my videos to reach international audience and brands. Which works really well... Sorry for some Filipino words hahaha since I'm really comfortable using both especially when providing some valuable information. again, thanks for supporting the channel!
Thanks for sharing such great tips to improve the looks of the video, i had implemented the changes in my video and could immediately see the difference... so thankful for sharing them with us and helping every creator to push its limit and excel
Thank you tatay Dan! Been watching your videos especially yung mga DIY loft bed and DIY makeover ng mga small rooms! I'm surprised that you're here! More videos and more power to you :)
Bro... I've been watching this kind of tutorials but it's only you who managed to explained its details on the camera settings as well as the lightings.. Thanks a lot.. Edit: hope you give us the tutorial on using ring light and any available home lights.. Coz obviously not every1 can afford the photography light..
Having those stuff, it would be easier to produce professional looking videos. How about when we don't have those? A lens with f2.8 is for sure pricey. Plus those lights. It would then be difficult for a normal person to achieve a professional looking video. It would be great to know the other alternatives using a camera with f3.5 and affordable but lighting setup. I love your channel and your talent! Good info though.
If you have an iPhone or a Galaxy device shoot your videos on those in Dolby Vision or hdr10+. That will eliminate the need for soft lighting. Lg g7 and g8 and v40, v50 and v60 can also shoot hdr10 to the same effect. An lg V phone might actually do a really good job as a youtube video camera. Can get one cheap on ebay.
Thank you for sharing your tutorials, they are very helpful and inspiring. Can this applied when someone is on a budget say using different types of lights such as lampshade, emergency light or whatever lights someone has in the house? Again, thank you for sharing your tutorials. Keep making your awesome artwork and keep being awesome :)
For practical lights and fill light, yes. But for your Main light, you should use something that provides higher power. So that, you can lower your ISO on your camera.
One of the best tutorials I've seen about this! Wasn't even looking for this topic haha, pero glad I discovered the channel! Thanks for walking us through!
I have looking for light and setup video but none of them was as good and explained as this video. This is the best video so far. Please make more like this tutorial videos. Including editing stuff
At first I thought I was losing it’s then I realized I was not bilingual and I’m just less smart than you.. I still understood, just didn’t know what words you were using. Thank you for teaching me.. please, keep doing this it helps others learn to pay attention!

I feel you. But, unfortunately that's exactly one of the meaning of the word 'professional'.
I love it when the notification shows up “someone liked your comment” and “you have a new subscriber.”🤍
what he mean in this video is that you shouldn't spend money on expensive cameras, instead you should buy expensive lights 🤣
I saw that tooo😂😂
Those lights aren’t expensive.
@@BP-or2iu it’s been a year and I must say that he is right.
