Quick ? Javier ... I always interpret my 60fps and 120 fps to 24fps which is my sequence settings... Is 40 the bit rate I should use ?? thank you great video!!
Thanks, as always, for this tutorial. One thing I may add in favor of the Media Encoder: you can actually encode several versions of the same video with different settings (for example, for UA-cam, Facebook, etc.). Once the project is in the Media Encoder queue, duplicate it and change the preset of the duplicate. That's a bit of a niche trick, but it may help.
Hi Javier, I'd like to know your insight on non-UA-cam uploads, such as a wedding film or small event exports. I have a 1hr10min video shot at 4K @200 4:2:2 10bit on a7S III I followed this video except for Bit rate 2 Pass VBR @ 24Mbps target. This gave me an 11gb file. Does this sound suitable for client delivery? I know a lower bitrate also will be plenty
05:21 Which is better for video quality (Hardware encoding with "VBR,1 pass" and less render time) or (Software encoding with "VBR,2 pass" and more render time), Please can you explain it in more detail in another video with an example ? Thank you.
Thanks for all of the pointers! I have never used in and out points when exporting and never have other work outside of what I am trying to export. Is there an advantage to doing this?
Just makes it so that you export exactly what you want. Otherwise I might go to export and accidentally have a clip way off down the timeline I missed and it exports the entire timeline with a chunk of black screen at the end.
Thanks for the video, As someone who edit for another UA-camr and have a slow internet connection, Uploading big files would take forever, so what I do is export at Maximum Adaptive setting (The Default one) then use Handbrake to encode it, sometimes it turns 2GB video into 200mb with no difference at all, which is so good for me 😅
Thank Javier but I'm confused. If my video is 1080 and I export in 4K 2160 would not the 1080 footage be stretched to a 4K size and one would loose quality since the 4K is so so much larger than 1080? Please let us know.
I don’t really use it that much anymore since I don’t do bulk exporting and the videos I create are not too long. Gives me an excuse to take a break while it’s exporting. So I’m not sure.
@@JavierMercedes you don't do bulk exporting?! Don't you know gary v says you should be doing 96 reels a day! Sign up for my course here! Jk. Thanks for the help! Ps in my experience it media encoder takes twice as long. But nice to step away and take a break too.
You forgot to mention that in the effect box you need to add the gamma preset to save the colors of the video, unless there is a new way NOT to do it,it will export the file with very poor colors
Great timing (as usual) teaching me things I didn't know I wanted to know before I knew I needed to know it....or something like that....anyway, THANK YOU
Great Video, Thank you! But how do I handle my Screencast, that I recorded with OBS in 1440p? I used always "Match Source - High Quality Bitrate" . Is that the correkt way? Because Upscaling to 2160p 4K is not worth it imo. Sorry for that Question, I'm new in Adobe Premiere 🙂
Nice tutorial, one question please. What does the HDR GRAPHICS in the export window really do to our video when we export and what is the best number to choose
Can I have my UA-cam channel with a different email than the Adobe CC email and still be able to export directly to UA-cam without the need to download to or process the export on my PC?
Awesome video. I've always been overwhelmed with all the settings available in Premiere. Having a quick guide to refer to like this is amazing. Thank you for making it quick and easy to understand. Also, I didn't know about the subtitle export feature.
Hi thanks for good video ! , I have problem, if i export my movie, then i have black window around the movie , its not fullscreen export it? Also in my preview window (its a black window around my movie ) black borders all around How can change into full screen export ? My original footage is fullscreen 4K movie , thanks for help , Lucius
4:11 Not an opnion, but fact. when you upload a 1080p video on a new channel you'll get a codec of avc1 which does a lot of compression, when you upload a 2k video no matter if it's a new or old channel youtube gives it a codec of vp09. when you have a bigger channel by default youtube will actually give you codec of vp09 even if you upload a 1080p video.
One thing I notice, is that when you check mark render at maximum depth and use maximum render quality the preset goes back to CUSTOM even thought I selected the preset UA-cam 2160p 4K. Also, if you change the VRB to pass 2 it goes back to custom preset. Wondering if I'm doing something wrong. I notice it when he selected render at maximum depth and use maximum render quality the preset went back to CUSTOM. Maybe he missed a step or I'm not doing it correctly.
Man thank you i was making a big mistake. Cause my videos were in 60fps but my sequence settings were 24 i was irritated by this. Thank you for this info 🙏🙏
Yes good review. UA-cam reccoments H.264 so that's it. Other experts are steering us to H.265 "because the quality is so high". Have to consider your audience. If its going on a DVD for wedding people, great. For UA-cam, its going to be crap. Most of my audience are watching on phone anyway.
Premiere pro is superior for editing (for many reasons you can find online). DR18 is for hardcore colorists. I personally edit and color correct / grade my videos in premiere pro and I'm completely satisfied. Except when it crashes for no particular reason. Then I'm blaming myself for spending 17+ years learning and using the Premiere, but I say to myself that I am a glorified Betta user for the sake of the future versions which will be even better. 😂 (Also your emoji is not for prayer 🙏 but for a high five 🙏 😮😂)

Hello, how you rendered this video? Becouse of high quality and it's size is very suitable... . Help me please.
This is so helpful. You have a new subscriber.
Whn u check off render at max and other it changes your UA-cam preset to custom. Any reason why it does that?
Your videos are so useful. Thank you for putting effort into making them clear and full of next-level information.
Nice video Bro.❤
Question: What if I shot mixed sequences in 60 and 24 and bring them down to a timeline that is 24 frames, can I still export in 24?
Yes that is what I would do
@@JavierMercedes Got it. Thanks for the reply.
