Wow - amazing how far we can reach on social media. Bonjour 👋 Thanks for your lovely comment. Hope you enjoy trying some of my other strength & balance sessions ua-cam.com/play/PL8yseQESUF5-qwexgqBeEOeEDYKr70rOV.html&si=xBIybIZ_09MQjxTj
Why... There's no such thing as taichi for balance. Just performing the form, improves your balance, for everyone, as a natural by-product of the process. It's as unimaginative and nonsensical as "yoga for constipation". The very act of moving through poses that twist and massage your entire alimentary canal, will, as a natural by-product of the process, excite paristalsis, and move some poop around. It's inevitable. So since all yoga automatically does this, theres no such thing as yoga for constipation. The very act of putting your mind in your hands and feet and moving them carefully through space while shifting weight from stance to stance, automatically effects your vestibular fluid, and grappling with this fluid with the balance part of your brain, creates a stronger neuroresponse, thus all Taijiquan must automatically improve your balance by default, and you don't need to make a video about balance specifically. It's baked in already. In other words, you're annoying my sense of logic and thus no hearts and smiles and namaste from me.
A year late, but for the record, some of us have never done Tai Chi before. Some of us are interested in starting because of new neurological deficits in balance. So Some of us couldn't give less of a toss about your sense of logic and are glad to have this described as it was. If it wasn't for you, keep scrolling, or take a deep horse stance over a tall picket fence.
Hope you found this session useful? I couldn't believe the noise of the rain pouring down on the conservatory roof 🌧🌧🌧
So useful and such nice explanations. The voice and the rain were calming.
