1199 is perfectly manageable on the street. The animal is let out the cage on the track. VERY physical bike and a lot to handle on the track, assuming you’re in the fastest group romping the throttle a lot. But a smooth throttle hand can help calm it. If you’re going for personal records, yes, it is a lot to handle, but doable.

No idea what is the exact name. Just picked em up at the Ducati store because I needed some easy gloves :)
And about the heat problem. Just lift your ass for a few seconds every so many kilometers and it becomes nice and cosy on colder days :) In cars people also pay to have heated seats. So I would for sure not take it as a downside. :D

+Pruthvi Vasireddy Depends on how you like the ride again. Bikes are really a personnal feeling. The 1299 is a Two Cylinder and the BMW a 4 cylinder. So off course you have a bigger torque range to make it smoother.

Its not ideal to use the QS on low revs, its bad for it.
