Ducati 1299 Panigale Tinkering | TFT Dashboard Display

  • This is a detailed run through of the Ducati 1299 Panigale's Full TFT Dashboard Display. I will be running through both the "ROAD" and "TRACK" menus, and demonstrating how to navigate and customize the riding modes.
    The electronics on this bike consist of Traction Control, Engine Braking, Power Modes, Quick Shifter, ABS, and Wheelie Control.
    This thing is pretty full-featured. It even has a lap-timer and a lean-angle indicator.

    Great video, much easier than the handbook thanks.
    At 2.00 it probably shows C because that means change, a UK term used rather than shift.

    Hey Dutchman, I've watched a bunch of your videos and never bothered to do anything other than watch. BUT, I just wanted to take the time to say that a) your videos are comprehensive and great watch, so thank you. And b) your videos are completely un-condescending, so again, thank you. I've ridden bikes my whole life, my dad bought me up on them, but I am a far cry from a petrol head; I couldn't take an engine apart and put it back together, and despite having a 1299, I don't do many track days. And you get a lot of snobby, condescending bikers out there who feel like they should put you down for not being able to spin the back wheel straight out of a hairpin (etc.) So anyway, I digress. Keep up the good work!
    Sam.

    The 1200s had the exact same display except I have 3 dash layouts and no gear indicator. Which suck ass I might add. I believe the 1200r has the panigale display. Also just like the previous guy I also like the riding videos due to recognizing everything. Keep up the good work!

      @@Dutchman0 So then question, if it has traction control and wheelie control what would happen if you dumped the clutch at say 10k with moderate traction and wheelie control🤔

    • @Dutchman0
      @Dutchman0  3 роки тому +1

      @@-JohnSmith- those features won't save you from something drastic like that. Traction control is just supposed to keep your rear wheel from spinning, and wheelie control is supposed to make small corrections to the power as you accelerate in order to keep the front wheel close to the ground.
