My apologies for the audio being a bit rubbish here. The bike is just too bloody loud! There is a 2nd video coming on this bike where i changed the mic around to try to get less engine noise.

2 Years later and i am still madly obsessed by this machine. I own a 1299rFE #450 and a 2015 Panigale R. Both bikes are out of my price range on affordability. Any ordinary sane monetarily minded rational thinker would never buy these bikes on my budget and income, BUT once they are paid off this is what i will throw myself into debt for next. This is fine, right? To live without these exquisite machines is to die.
I look at it this way, most middle income individuals can buy the most insane machines on two wheels but you need to be a multi millionaire to afford the most exquisite cars.
The sound alone of this bike is absolutely amazing...I literally had a smile on my face the entire video. Dear god I love panigales. Thanks for sharing :)

Christ alive, as a 17 year old who got git by a truck on his bike 7 weeks ago (and had his leg broken in 2 places), this video was.. absolutely FANTASTIC and I'd love to ride one of these someday.
Titanium is such an awesome metal. My YZ250 has a Ti shock spring. First time I removed the shock I nearly threw it into my own face because I was used to heaving ones with heavy steel springs out of the bikes I had before I got the YZ.

An engineering marvel. Well done Ducati. Noise is okay on this vlog. But all that weight saving and no rattle of a dry clutch.. Must be in the race kit.
People who are saying that the bike isn't worth the money have clearly never owned (or ridden) a Ducati or haven't been riding long enough to appreciate the magnification beast that the 1299 is.

I've said it time and time again . Weight plays a huge part in any machine and mixing carbon and titanium is pretty much the lightest strength/weight mix you can get . Keep aluminium for non high torque-stressed areas .
I absolutely love my 899 I struggle to keep the front end down. can't imagine a 1299 lightened .. my next bike maybe an 1199 :D definitely sounds so much better in person everyone's missing out because no audio setup van capture the v twin open sound. keep an coming baron
Don't get a 1199 get the 1299 it's much more fun on the road. The torques much better (obviously) and it runs much smoother than the 1199.

Big Bird I'm not sure. I do know his family had over 30 servants as a kid. They had a Dutch butler called Jos.
Baron had a reputation for being cruel to the staff. He'd often bully them and sometimes he'd successfully convince his father to withhold their pay. Baron would use the money to purchase motorbikes instead.
Usually he'd only use the bike once before buying another. He'd just throw away £15k bikes for fun.

Loved the 44T review and this was a great extra treat! Also weird watching as recognise all these roads as was riding them on Saturday, although the ones through by winnall aren't as fun 😅 absolutely beautiful bike, one many dream of riding but only a few get the chance

For those that don't know the GP bike is a 1000cc V4 officially making "over 250hp" but likely over 350hp.
Nah it produces max power of around 280+ hp.

Those gp style cans make it sound somewhat like a 180 degree crank parallel twin mid revs, if that makes anysense. It sounds beastly but I do prefer the deeper tumble from the underbelly exhausts from the original model.
