Hey folks and welcome to the Supreme Suspensions channel and with us today is a 2015 Chevy… Express? We’re doing vans now? Really? [laughter]
Okay, so this one’s got a whole bunch of seats in it, and some barn doors on the side, and it’s even got a backup camera. It came to us from our friends at Deck & Railing Solutions down in Dana point, California. I’ve known them for a long time, they’ve got some kids, they love to go surfing, and camping, and spending a lot of time going places with their extended family.
The problem with this is that it’s kind of got that airport shuttle look and they’re more the adventure-type people. So we’ve got a brand new product. This is a 2.5” leveling spacer specifically designed for these late model Chevy vans and they’ve been so gracious as to let us use their vehicle to test fit so let’s roll it in the shop and see how this goes.
Once you get the wheels off, undo the clip holding the ABS wiring to the steering knuckle. Then go after the one on the control arm and the ove on the shock tower, and finally disconnect the sensor from the wiring harness and unclip the plug.
Next, you’ll want to unbolt the brake line bracket from the steering knuckle… and the one on the control arm… and then remove the brake line bracket from the frame rail.
Unbolt the tie rod from the steering knuckle and whack it on the side to pop it loose.
Disconnect the sway bar from the control arm. The top part of the link is a little funky and will need to be held with a 12 point socket.
Now remove the brake caliper and hang it out of the way. Pull off that brake rotor and set it aside.
Support the lower control arm with a jack. Disconnect the lower shock mount and unbolt the upper mount. Now the shock can be dropped out the bottom and removed from the van.
Moving on, unbolt the upper ball joint and knock it loose with a hammer.
CArefully drop the lower control arm and remove the coil spring from the van.
Install a coil spring compressor onto the spring and place the lift spacer onto the top coil.
Install the spring and spacer into the van while making sure that the coil spring is seated into the groove on the lower control arm.
Carefully remove the spring compressors... raise the lower control arm and attach the upper ball joint. Tighten the nut to 18 ft-lbs plus an additional 90-100 degrees.
Install the shock and tighten the upper mount to 16 ft-lbs.
Attach the lower mount to the control arm and run the bolts down to 18 ft-lbs.
Install the sway bar link and tighten it down to 97 in-lbs, which is a little bit over 8 ft-lbs.
Install the brake rotor and caliper and tighten the caliper bolts down to 129 ft-lbs.
Attach the tie rod to the steering knuckle and run the bolt down to 26 ft-lbs and then an additional 60-75 degreees.
Attach the brake line bracket to the steering knuckle… and then the upper control arm… and finally the frame rail.
Attach the ABS wiring to the steering knuckle… the upper control arm… and the frame rail.
Install the wheels and run those lug nuts down the 140 ft-lbs. And now you’re ready to roll.
Wow, we are really stoked at how this turned out. Our new spacers fit in the van just perfectly and gave us that 2.5 inches we were looking for to level it out and give us a little more clearance on the front tires which will come into play later. We hope you enjoyed the video today. If you did, please hit like. If this is your first time stopping by, please hit subscribe. Check back soon as this van is off to the tire shop to get some ‘ol meats put on with some fancy new rims and if anybody’s got a line on a neat set of fender flares for this, please let us know in the comments because we’d like to beef it up and make it look all adventure-like. Thanks for watching and have a great rest of your day. - Авто та транспорт
This is a good overview video showing a lot of parts I had no idea what they were called. Thanks.
Guys you guys are good push your channel cause you you know your thing!!!!
Great step by step video. Very well done! Thanks.

Thank you
Can you fit a 275/70/18 tire with this 2 inch kit?
Very interested in your product front and rear 2” lift on my 2015 Chevy express 3500
Looking for a ball park number on installation of your product or what you think I should expect to pay.
Also I intend on using KYB gas a just shocks designed for stock hight ,will they work just fine? Or will I need longer shocks?
Thank you Brian.
Depends if you're doing this on your own or taking it to a shop. A shop should be able to knock this out in 2-3 hours on a lift.
If you're planning on doing this in your driveway, maybe 4-5 depending on your available tools and skill level.
I read that this could change ride quality by lengthening (possibly shortening) the shock. Are there any shocks you would recommend to resolve this issue? Or What length to search for? Would longer coils be a suitable solution over a spacer?
A longer coil achieves the same goal as a spacer on an OE coil.
Are there any lift kits available for 2015 express 3500,155” wb approx 2” front 1” rear ? Airbag sys.? I’ve seen a van 2wd with 4” lift. Is it
Possible to get say 2” lift front and rear? Help.
Brian Lisec check with Jeremy st WELDTEC DESIGNS
How about 2002 Chevy Express 2500, I recently bought a 2" Lift Kit , need feedback to install it!
Nothing yet, unfortunately!
Are there any lift kits available approx 1" or 2" front for 2009 Chevy Uplander/Pontiac Montana SV6?
Not currently, no. But please check back with us periodically as that may change.
How thick is the spacer used to get the 2" of lift? It only looks to be about 1".
You are exactly correct. It is based on the principle of Motion Ratio. So once the spacer installed ontop of the coil, it will steepen the angle of the lower control arm, and that is what will account for the remaining lift!!
@@SupremesuspensionsLiftKits Does that make the control arm wear out faster or affect tire wear etc? I know this probably sounds like a dumb question, but IDK/
Is it possible to put 33’s on the same van with this leveling kit? Thx!!!
I fit 32'' on stock height in my 2009 G3500 if that helps.
@@Andrade1228 did you have any rubbing? I'm wondering if I can fit 275/70/17's on my stock 3500
I just noticed you're located in Los Angeles. Do you do installations?
Sorry we do not do installs for customer vehicles, this was shot on location.
Do you guys ship to CANADA ? Is this kit currently in stock? What methods of payments do you accept internationally?.
Thanks
We do yes - we are currently shipping only via FedEx due to delivery problems and severe delays with USPS. You can pay via credit/debit card/paypal.
I have a 99’ Express 3500 Ext Wheelbase, i bought a 2.5” Leveling kit hope the 1st gens are the same as the 2nd gens.. Lol
The kit featured in the video is for 1995 models and up, but if you do have any issues at all please let us know by calling us at 888-810-6791 and one of our support agents will be happy to help you out!
You're teasing me! Your website says 2003 and up Chevy Express. I have a 2002 Express 2wd cargo van. Will it still work? I only found one shop that could do a lift for my Express van but they would relocate the upper arm, etc. and they're in San Diego.
They mad quite a few changes to them for 2003. I have not had to opportunity to test our kit on an earlier Express but I'm lead to believe that they do not fit.
@@SupremesuspensionsLiftKits thanks. If you come across any mods that can lift my 2002 Express can you please let me know?
will do!
What is the size of the 12 point socket that is needed to remove the sway bar link?
There is not an actual bolt head there for a socket to go. We just recommend using a 12-point that is roughly the size of the top portion to hold it in place, so it does not spin, as it is easier and more secure than trying to hold it with pliers.
@@SupremesuspensionsLiftKits
On mine it is larger than a 30mm and smaller than a 32mm. I did not have the correct size socket. I was able to use pliers and a hand ratchet to remove it.
Do you have this for a 2010 chevy Express 4500? If so is there a weight limit?
Thanks for the question, but no. These lifts work for the 15/25/3500's. Currently we do not have a product for the 4500's, but we add products all the time.
You can either call us at 888-810-6791 to inquire or you can also check our website at supremesuspensions.com/ to see all of the products that we carry.
@@SupremesuspensionsLiftKits what is the weight capacity for the 3500?
Hello, if by weight capacity you mean towing capacity, for a 2010 3500 it is 7,400 lbs.
If you were looking for some other information, please let us know.
Is there a part 2 to this video
Unfortunately no, a part 2 was not filmed.
Looking for a 3 or 6 in lift for my 07 2WD. ANY IDEAS?
We only offer a 2" lift for these, sorry!
Edward Fraker look up weldtec or make your own kit out of universal blocks and parts
Journeys Offroad offers a 3/2” lift, I ordered one for my 2006 Express 3500. The hardest part will be finding shocks. I’m going to be running Bilstein 5100s, part # 33-186504 upfront and 33-185552 in the rear
Weldtec Designs in El Cajon, CA sells a 3" and 5.5" kit. If you do some arm twisting and spend some extra cash, they can also make a 5.5" lift long travel setup with 10.5" travel. I have the prototype (And only example) on my van. The springs were weak however and I'm in the process of replacing them now.
Have you got a new shipment in

The website is cumbersome as I could not get it to select my vehicle type. 2005 Chevy Express AWD needing 2.5” suspension spacers. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Great product, demo and this entire thread is gold.
Whoops! I'm sorry that is not listed yet. The good news is that van takes the same kit as the 3/2 ton pickups which can be ordered here:

@@SupremesuspensionsLiftKits this URL says 2003-2017, the product page says 2003-2019. Will it fit 2018?
I don't get this leveling. The front is now higher. Even if now the front were level with the rear how will this van look when passengers, 200 lbs of full fuel and then cargo are loaded? Are you lifting the rear a few inches to get back the rake?
You certainly could raise the rear anywhere from 1" - 3" with our rear kits.
Do you have a link to your 3” rear lift blocks?
How can I go about getting some like that and how much are they
The van kit ended up being considerably more popular than we anticipated and we are currently out of stock. We have a new batch due in November and we can keep you updated when they arrive.
@@SupremesuspensionsLiftKits can you let me know
I will keep you posted!
What's size tires could you put on a lift like this?
With this kit, it'll take a 32" tire without any trouble and a 33" with minor trimming of the inner fender lining.
Nice vid but it didn’t look level. Looked higher in the front. ??
Hey, thanks for the comment. At the completion of the lift an alignment had yet to be done, so there might be some "settling" that would still need to be done.
Still looks good though.
Can I use this 2 inch leveling kit on a set of 305/40R24 ? I know I gotta do some cutting of the mini fenders but will these help with the clearance?
This fits a 2015 gmc savana 2500 ?
This kit should fit the GMC Svana as well as the suspension is the same for both the Chevy & GMC models.
@@SupremesuspensionsLiftKits great thanks 😊
This is absolutely not level. Looks stupid.
Great install on blocks that were at least a half inch too tall.
Seriously, great video. But that ain't leveled. It's absurd. Imagine with 15 people in it! Ass is dragging
