    I was wondering how to re-tension the spring. I was thinking about using my jack, glad to know it will work! Helpful video thanks

    Thanks for the video. I was trying to avoid taking the breaks apart but end of the day you have to take almost everything apart anyways.

    I hope you tightened those control arms at ride height. If not, they will wear out prematurely.

      Explain?

    • @SwapPartLLC
      @SwapPartLLC Місяць тому

      @curtbernard755 Control arms should be tightened in the position they will be at when the vehicle is on the ground. Known as ride height. The rubber bushings allow a certain amount of movement up and down. Ride height should be the center of that movement. The bushing will then be under no tension except for when a bump is hit. If it isn't, the rubber will be stretched at all times, and bumps will cause more stretching. The rubber will eventually tear.

      @@jhonyzelaya7019yeah is not easy it takes lots of weight to compress those springs. use a jack but be very carefull.

      no cameras were harmed in the filming of this video... if it wasn’t for the heavy duty case we definitely would have lost two more!
