You are certainly a master builder. What a beautiful work of art. Such talent. Thank you for sharing with us. These were special times and you brought back great memories.
I’m blown away with your meticulous detailing and how realistic your models are. The Flying Sub genuinely looks like she’s arching up to dock. Flawless.
An absolutely BRILLIANT job, on EVERY aspect. I can remember vivd memories of the series.............and KUDOS to it's SPFX crew and construction crew for the realism of the sets. And to You sir, for an outstanding assembly & paint video. Well done.
Very impressive detailing and workmanship that was done to both the Seaview and the Flying Sub. The display board was nicely done. I love the logo in the middle and the ocean blue effect.
Words don't do this video it's proper justice. Such pristine, quality workmanship. And to top it off the music overlay is just breathtaking. Never heard the theme song in this format. Thank you for sharing this with the world.
Damn, this really cool and this coming from a real fan of Voyage To The Bottom of the Sea and especially of the Seaview and love the theme being played.👍👍
My SeaView came today late production 2017 boxing and plan on doing the same things to mine but also adding some RC functions to make things move. Thanks for the great video and love your SeaView. :) Mike @ Armor Elite Hobbies
absolutely beautiful seaview you have .. i watched the show as a kid in the 60s, an under rated show i think had way more action and suspense than star trek or practically any other show. glad i own the dvd set so i can watch whenever i want.
James Shulenburg took the words I would have used to comment on your fantastic build and excellent lighting. Best I've seen on line or anywhere . Truly spectacular work !
Wow you did a beautiful job of that, this brings back childhood memories, i used to love this show as a kid. I still enjoy it and think it was ahead of its time. We just don't get shows like this any more. Some creature effects look dodgy but overall it was good effects.
The sexiest sleekest sub ever! I dreamed of living on her. If I were as rich as some people I would rebuild her and take people for rides. Your model is sweet. You are hooked
I have always felt the same way. I thought I was the only one! How cool would it be to own an exact full sized Seaview? Yes, take people for rides and just live on board. Experts say she isn't hydrodynamic and the bow causes drag. I wouldn't care. There is enough technology to overcome that. I wouldn't want to live, or even spend a great deal of time on another submarine. Just this one. Not the Nautilus, or SeaQuest... well, I wouldn't turn down rides on those, but Seaview has something I can't explain. It's just mesmerizing.
nice job. when i was a kid i had a revelle model of seaview. would have given anything to make her dive, surface and everything else . ps: the flying sub was a prop from another erwin allen series land of the giants . the flying sub went on to be used in another show called city beneath the sea.
While the Flying Sub (& also the Seaview - in the evacuation scenes!) appeared in the later TV pilot 'City Beneath the Sea', with Land of the Giants, back in the 90's I heard that Irwin Allen made a promo short to sell the show to the studio and the flying sub doubled for the ship. When the show went into production, the Spindrift was built and looks a bit like FS. BTW, the Seaview made a 'cameo' in a 1970's episode of Wonder Woman:).
Extraordinary. I did mine pretty much exactly like you did yours. You just did it better. I'M NOT WORTHY!!!! Lol... seriously, great modeling my friend. Museum quality!
Absolutely stunning. The realism is off the charts. I'm about to build the same model, I'm sure I'll be very disappointed when finished after seeing yours, where can I buy the led lights for the lower bay for the flying sub? Thanks
Paul Sawtell's score is so nice. If you listen to the whole thing very closely, you'll hear one bit (at 1:04 in this video) that sounds like it made it into Close Encounters. John Williams may need to send Paul Sawtell a royalty check.
BUT, the distance between the flying sub hatch at the nose of the Seaview and the periscope & ladder at the conning tower platform in the "control room" never made sense....
When they joined the control room together with the observation room they totally ruined the scale. The sub suddenly became too small. And the spiral stairs now goes nowhere. It irl would go outside the hull. Oops.
What a floodgate of memories as a child. I was born in 64 so I do remember this show even if I was a little young. You did a fantastic job on this !
Thanks so much for the kind words!
Wow, that’s way cool. Brings me back to my childhood.
Wow great job on that model. I watched that show in the late 60s as a little boy growing up, preschool-kindergarten, was my favorite show.
Thank you sir!
Flipper too?

Murphy, you really don't need to be told, nor do you need anyone's accolades, a Master is a Master and shares because he is just that.....WOW !
Thank you Peter. That is way too high of praise. You are very gracious. Best regards! - Murph
Nope, I stand by what I said.
Great work looks brilliant 👍👍
The observation windows with the window frames was my favorite version of the Seaview.
Very impressive detailing and workmanship that was done to both the Seaview and the Flying Sub. The display board was nicely done. I love the logo in the middle and the ocean blue effect.
Thank you Raymond!

Fantastic job. I always thought the flying sub looked like a CHEVY CORVAIR.
Murphy, my words are lost. the best seaview build ive ever seen. great work my friend.
Pena que não se acha mais réplicas aqui no Brasil

Brilliant and takes me back to when I watched the series! Are there mini figures in the model? That to me makes it ‘real’. 😎

Precioso perrillo. Gracias por este video entrañable.
Awesome build, we'll done Sir.
OUTSTANDING!!! ✨🏆✨👏😍
Funny how no one has built a full scale Seaview to use as a tourist vehicle with the Glass windows and galley and flying sub that skims the water.
That was bad ass, thanks for sharing.
fantastic
Outstanding job!
Thank you!
Great Job

I know you made this a long time ago, but I sure wish I could do that.
Que lembranças maravilhosas esses modelos me trazem. Bons tempos, lindo

All these years later and they still don't have a real flying sub.
Absolutely stunning. The realism is off the charts. I'm about to build the same model, I'm sure I'll be very disappointed when finished after seeing yours, where can I buy the led lights for the lower bay for the flying sub? Thanks

One thing is impossible; the inside is larger than the submarine itself!
