My condolences. My grandpa was a bit older (born 1927) and was a teenage partisan fighter in WW2, got unscathed through all the battlefields of ex Yugoslavia. His stories were so eerie and strong... He died at 89 and I cannot forgive myself not filming / recording / writing down his wartime experiences. So yeah, you ppl that still have the honor to listen to your gramps, be proactive and at the very least talk with the old folks.
My condolences Martin. My father was also born in 1939, in London. The first 6 years of his life was spent sleeping under a reinforced table or in bomb shelters. His father was absent, serving with the 8th Army in North Africa and Italy. We talk about the veterans, but we often miss the stories of those trying to live their everyday lives. He won't talk about it and has blocked much of it out, but we're still close and talk of other things. I know he doesn't have much time left, but will appreciate him while he's still around. Much love from Canada!
My condolences to you. He was a WWII veteran, a B-24 bombardier in the US Army Air Corps, and passed over 30 years ago. Although he missed seeing us grandkids grow up, I'm certain your grandfather watched your life, talents, and success with pride. Cherish your memories of him.
I express my most sincere condolences, my friend. What you said about within 10-15 yrs that there will be no more witnesses to WWII to tell the stories gave me pause to reflect on , in a way, how fortunate I was in my 61 yrs on this planet to have known so many veterans. I remember when they were in their 40's and full of life. Every time I build a model, I always strive for historical accuracy . Because without that , history is being altered. Once again, your tutorial in this video was a lesson in perfection. I will, as always be looking forward to the next video. Once again, my heart goes out to you with respect to the passing of your grandfather.
So sorry to hear of your loss. My grandpa died in 1963. I was 10 years old. He was in WW1 AEF 32nd Division 107th Engineers. I used to love listening to his stories from that conflict and he was very willing to tell me. He never spoke about the Battles except to say, "This area was hard to take" or tell me about the mud in the trenches where he slept sitting in his helmet. I have his helmet, gas mask, leggings and overseas cap along with many picture postcards and many photos including German propaganda photos. My treasure is a piece of Quentin Roosevelt's plane where my Grandpa built a fence around his grave. Thanks for listening.
Martin, my condolences to your family and you. You are a good steward of history. Your having shared your grandfather's experiences keeps him a big part of that history.
Sorry to hear about your Grandad. It's a long time since my Grandad died (1977) He grew up during WW1 and was a teenager during the War of Independence and Civil War (Irish). You were blessed to be able to hear his stories. I was only 9 years old when my grandfather died and didn't really understand the significance of some of his stories. It'd be great to hear those stories again today and understand the history behind them.
My grandfather was a LT in the Marines when he landed on Iwo Jima. He was shot but lived. I only spoke with him about it once while he was in the hospital before he passed. I wish I had written down questions, I wish I had recorded it... If you have a relative ask them about WW2, Korea, ect.. I wasn't as prepared as I wanted.. but at least I did get to hear his story. I'm sorry you lost your grandfather but be happy you knew him. Like NS says.. it is our duty to hear and relay their story.
I’m very sorry for your loss, I just lost my own grandfather early in October. I remember all the story’s he told me about his life and his time in the navy. He served as an electrician on the U.S.S Vulcan, his ship was apart of the failed bay of pigs invasion into Cuba. He told me the story of being hunkered down in the lower decks, and hearing all the big battleship guns firing. He said that he thought we were going to war. He made it out of that, and when he got back home he wasted no time and went and married my Grandma. It’s a shame most people don’t get to spend a lot of time around their grandparents. There’s plenty of story’s and life lessons that they want to share, if you haven’t talked to your grandparents in awhile, and there still alive. Give them a call, ask them to tell you a story. Who knows you might learn something, or just have a good laugh.
Condolences, for your grandfather. Very timely remarks. My father was a WWII veteran. Born in 1921. I learned from a first person's perspective about the horrors of that time. I remember when I built models back in the 60's, I could ask him if I got something right on a Sherman tank. He was a commander of one. They were truly outstanding people. I miss him, even today.
My condolences. My grandfather (born 1904) fought in the war but never talked about it much. He did take a camera with him, so I have some reference photos from the pics he took. But more importantly, he was a railway and sailing ship modeller (often scratch building the entire ship from old design specs from libraries and then scaling everything down) and he was the person who inspired me to build models back in the 60s and 70s. I built my first models with him and those are memories that i will cherish forever.
As everyone else has said, deepest condolences regarding the loss of your grandfather. The fact he could even remember those small fragments of details is impressive, considering how young he must have been at the time. I've lost both my grandfathers, one was old enough to have fought in the Royal Navy, he wouldn't talk about the war much, and I never pressured him into reliving any memories he may of had. My other grandfather was too young to fight, like yours, and spent most of his childhood surviving the Blitz and other bombing raids on docks and port cities in the UK, countless stories of how he kept running away from the homes he was made to stay in as an evacuee due to how much he hated it there. Losing anyone in your family is tough, but those who lived through the horrors of war are really something else. Thank you for sharing his story.
What a great idea for a diorama, can’t wait to see the results. And very sorry to hear about your grandfather, as you say it’s not only family but also links to the past that affects everybody eventually.
My condolences for your loss. My grandfather, the only one I knew, died in 1996. But as a child I listened to his stories almost every evening. He told a lot about that time, but only the things that were suitable for children. At first he was in France, but then his division moved to snowy Estonia and stayed there until the end of the war. He hated snow until the end of his life. He was a farrier in the artillery and talked a lot about horses. Because what we model makers tend to forget today is that at least 80% of the Wehrmacht consisted of horses. :-D I hope you will still remember his stories in 20 years, too. Thank you for your work and videos. And I think building dioramas is also part of ensuring that this time is never forgotten.
My condolences for your loss. Thank you for sharing. it's wonderful that your grandpa shared his memories with you. For all of us, if you still have living grandparents. consider asking them about their stories - it's so valuable to learn and preserve history.
Sorry for your loss. My grandad passed away two years ago. He was born in 38 or 39. It's surreal to think that most of the people from then are passing on. I agree with you. It's important we keep their messages alive.
Sorry to hear about your grandfather. It is the duty for those that come after to carry the stories and wisdom into the future. I'll raise a glass to those that we have lost but will never be forgotten. keep up your outstanding work Modeling!
Condolences on your loss. I heard a thing a few days ago: instead of spending your time as it's your last day, spend it with the ones you love as if it's their last day. The video and the model you built is fantastic as always!
As everyone has said, I'm sorry for your loss. My grandfather never spoke about his time, but said enough to make me want to know more. Thanks for your work, they inspire and help my technique more than you can imagine.
My condolences for your loss... I lost my grandfather in 2022 and like you, i heard stories of war from him and got to "relive" some memories that way. I was also lucky to have met his father who passed when i was around 7 or 8 i think. He was a veteran of Winter war and the Continuation war, but he never spoke of those days, understandably. I wholeheartedly agree with the idea of trying to preserve the memories and history. Its important to learn so we dont repeat the mistakes... And concerning the diorama, for some reason it looks just right even unpainted. I personally wouldnt mind just leaving it as is (even though i know its going to look gorgeous once you've fully painted and finished it)
Sorry to hear this news. The last bit of your video brought a tears to my eyes. So true about giving your parents and grand parents a call or visit. All of mine passed by the time I was 35, and so for almost 25 years I have echoed what you said in my soul. May God carry your grandfather's soul to Heaven with gentle wings.
I'm so sorry for your loss, I'm at the age now where all my grand parents have left us and theres a day that doesn't go by where I don't miss their wisdom, presence and stories. I wish you and family all the best with this difficult time, and thank you for sharing it with us.
It's so hard to lose a grandparent, you have my deepest sympathies Martin. You do a true service to the veterans of war in the way you lovingly memorialize history, retelling those stories that might otherwise be lost.
So sorry about your loss, it always leaves a hole in your heart. Your channel is my favorite, I've been modeling for years and always learn something new and get much inspiration from your work.
My condolences on the passing of your grandfather. Sadly, as every year passes, we lose those who lived through one of the worst chapters of our history. The stories your grandfather spoke about can be very sobering and everyone could learn from them. Thank you for sharing his experience from that period in history.
Sincrere condolences Martin. Sorry to hear about the loss of your Grandfather. I am personally very happy that he supported you for chasing your dreams.. my grandfather did the same for me. He inspired me to become a competitive fisherman. And you have inspired me to become a better modeler. God bless you and know that your grandfather will always be watching over you my friend.
Condolences about your grandpa. I also recently lost my dad, who was born in 1932. It's crazy to think that his stories died with him. Obviously, not the ones we remember, but all of the untold and forgotten ones. I love that you brought this up, and that it's important that we do our part to honor their memories, what they and those before had to go through. Best wishes, mah friend.
Sorry to hear about the loss. My Grandpa actually fought in both theaters during World War 2 and I wish I would got to talk to him More about his experience
Sorry to hear about your grandfather. Mine was a B17 co-pilot and and POW at Stalag Luft 3. Shot down on Black Thursday October 14th 1943. His stories were some of my fondest memories. It is our duty to remember!
Thank you for sharing about your grandfather, I'm sorry for your loss. You're strong for getting this video out and finished despite the circumstances. I think you've inspired me to visit my grandmother this weekend so thank you again.
i know, its so sad that in no longer than 10 years or so, we wont have any living veterans. As such, is our duty to remember them. Sorry for your loss. Great video execution man, as always,
Sorry to hear about your grandfather, as a World War Two collector I am also very sad that every year there will be less and less veterans to hear from, so thank you veterans! Loved the video, and ready to see part two
Sorry for your loss man, may God rest his soul. Thank you for everything you do, and it is nice to hear what you said about our old folk... both my grandfathers are gone, one was born in 1912 and the other in 1936. I am glad that I at least listened to the most important stuff they had to say, tell or teach me since I was quite young still when they both passed away. I remember them with love and fondness as I do my dad and all of my loved ones who are no longer living. Hang in there man, and anyone reading this going through a similar thing I feel for you and I hope you have people around you who love and care for you so you are not facing it alone. Cheers from Croatia
My deepest condolences for your loss . And thank you for sharing. It’s good sometimes to reflect on the horrors of war. Not mistaking model building for glorifying the war. ❤
My heartfelt condolences to you, Martin. It‘s now almost two years since I lost my grandmother as the last of my grandparents. She used to tell us stories of that time, living as a teenager in comparative safety here in Switzerland. Thank you for sharing and keep on creating these incredibly beautiful scenes you build with your models.
Sorry for the loss of your grandfather. It’s crazy to think soon there will be no ww2 vets left. Great idea for the diorama you always seem the think outside the box
Condolences for your loss. Past is beginning to vanish, as you said. We must to preserve it. Love your dedication to detail, building and telling the history.
My condolences to you and your family. It really hits hard when somebody that close to you passes away. My grandpa passed away in february. I was building a Vt 1 2 and wanted to send him pictures of my progress everyday. I really hoped i can show him the finished modell, but his cancer won. And as you said, the memorys and stories that the person had, just disappear.
My condolences to you, and your family on your loss Martin. As you mentioned, it would be a dishonor that we allow to ever be forgotten, those who died, nor permit the memories shared by those who lived through the fighting during WWII, to fade. Thanks to people like your late grandfather, current, and future generations can better understand what its was like in that time. Thank you sir for sharing his memories with us. Respect.
Martin, my condolences. Your grandfather sounded like a wonderful person. I also totally agree with you that it is our duty to keep alive the memories of the people who endured that terrible conflict.
Very sorry for your loss. Your message rings clear cherish your memories of loved ones and the people who helped and sacrificed their lives for the world we lived in now. Great video love to keep learning
Lost my grandfather last year, miss him so much, he was in Vietnam and loved hearing the stories he would tell us, wish I could have heard more, we are losing a lot of Nam vets here, love getting to talk to them, praying for you Uncle Nightshift, thanks for the great videos and the help with perfecting my skills
My condolences to your family. Just think about how lucky you were to be able to share so many memories with your grandfather and to hear about his experiences of WW2. And now you get to make a living keeping his and many others' elders' memory alive and in the public conscious. My grandfather on my mother's side also lived in Czechoslovakia in WW2 but on the Czech side. He died well before I could form consistent, long term memories and the most I remember of him was him holding me in a pool and feeling safe. I have only heard his voice via a VHS recording of a television interview with him by CNN. Turns out he lived an interesting life in WW2. He joined the Czechslovak partisans and hid in the forests of Bohemia. He got captured and was sent to a concentration camp but not because he was a partisan, but because he was Jewish. When the Soviets liberated his camp, he got enlisted into the Red Army. As soon as the war was over, he left Europe via a port in Denmark and settled in the US.
Great to see you back. My deepest condolences on your loss. My father was born in Hamburg in 1939 and I heard stories all my life. He passed in 2006. I feel you loss.
love making models this time of year. And always love getting the notification of a new video you from the best uncle out there! Also were all giving prayers to you Grandfather, RIP grandad Nightshift.
Sorry about your grandfather. My grandma was from a part of Germany which is now Poland. First she feared the Germans, then she feared the Russians. It’s impossible to put a value on their experiences. Sometimes what I miss about your dioramas, no matter the skill and expertise shown, is the scale and awe that comes with history. That people are witnessing, will always witness and have always witnessed things larger than them. The tank in the lake captured it, I think. A sort of melancholy of bygone history, something that happened no matter if you wanted it to or not. Nonetheless, thank you as always for your amazing work and inspiration to us all
So very sorry for your loss , my friend. Anything we can do, as modelers, to keep history visual and tangible is needed to help others and the generations to come understand conflict. Your diorama looks to be another stunning success. Blessings to you and family.
Very sorry to hear about your loss. Your comments were a touching tribute. I concur wholeheartedly with your exhortation that we remember those who fought and lived through both major wars of the 20th Century--and all the other "minor" wars that were no less horrific for those who had to endure them. Your work is a fine tribute.
Hey man, sorry to hear about your Grandad, always a sad thing when they go, my grandad used to tell me stories of the Americans as they come over to the UK in their thousands, and he lived very close to one of the air bases, and one of the forests where they used to store ammo for the big day. He used to drink of an evening and often had brawls with them, usually over women 😅 my Grandad was a big chap with hands like shovels and loved telling me about those drunken evenings, what a time to be alive. Gone but never forgotten, Grandads and Airmen. Bless them all. I hope your Grandad got to see some of the great dioramas you make, I sure he would have been very Impressed.
I’m so sorry to hear about your grandfather. My great grandfather passed away on November 16th of this year. Born April 16, 1924. He fought in the pacific. It gave me the same thoughts that you talked about at the end there. He was probably one of the last veterans still living.
Im so sorry for your loss buddy, my Grandad was only 3 when wwii started, hes still going strong but time is taking its toll, i live him to bits, i cant imagine how you must feel ❤❤❤
Many years ago I met an old guy at a BBQ and got chatting. Before long we’ll talked about the war. He was Royal Navy, worked on the convoys, was sunk 3 times! So many stories are being lost. I’m very sorry to hear about your grandad.
Fellow at work was merchant navy including some Russian convoys. On those, if you were not on duty, you were busting ice. Too much and you capsized. If the cargo was iron ore or armoured vehicles, you slept fully dressed, door jammed open because you would sink like a stone. If you had ammunition, you got undressed, door closed and into bed. If you were hit, you never knew about it. He had more stories and some were eye opening.
Condolences from the USA. We recently lost my father-in-law and this will be the first Thanksgiving without him. Holidays are tough after loss of a loved one. Getting back to modeling, this diorama is a bit of kismet. I'm planning a similar scene based on General Eisenhower inspecting a rolled Tiger, photographed shortly after D-Day.
I'm so sorry to hear about your grandpa passing away. I also lost my granddad about 2 years ago while I was studying abroad. I remember very fondly sitting with him and eating seafood together. He was just an ordinary man that helped his children to success through hardwork and poverty. But hey, at least we have a chance to spend time with and remember our granddads. A glass of whisky to you, Uncle Nightshift.
Sincere condolences on your loss, Martin ... It is always tough when our elders leave us. We will keep them in our hearts and cherish what they meant to us and what they gave us in life. Take care, Buddy !
Sorry to hear about your loss. Just remember he's never gone till he's forgotten my dad use to tell me that he was a vietnam vet but im all about hearing more stories of your grandfather share his stories and experiences with us or friends and family so he will live on as always i really enjoy your videos keep it up.
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your grandfather, and hearing you tell us listeners about your loss, just reminded me of when my grandfather passed away 2 years ago. He was born in '39, so he didn't have many stories, but he retold stories from others that did live through it...I do agree that we need to continue to talk about their experiences, so that they will continue to live on. Take care of yourself and get better.
When I see photos of overturned tanks I always have the same reaction..."Damn! Arial bombs and off-shore naval gunfire don't do things halfway, No Sir." Great start for a new project, I was starting to get a little antsy for one. On a personal note, my Grandfather was a WWI vet, passed away when I was stationed in West Germany and couldn't come home :( The stories he used to tell!
Sorry for your loss, mate. My one grandfather was in the Pacific in WWII and never wanted to talk about it. He passed some years back, and it's always felt wrong to me I have no idea what he did nor can carry on his story with my kids, etc. For sure, need to get info from these folks while they are still around, and even doing stuff like making these models/dioramas helps keep the memories alive.
So sorry for the loss of your grandfather. You have my sincerest condolences. You are very fortunate to have had him for as long as you did. The stories he must of told. I lost my grandfather when I was just 2 years old. So his story telling to me ended. I can tell you really respected him, and you're right about losing our veterans of WW2 one day. The model looks great and I can't wait to see it painted. Take care and God bless you.
Sorry to hear about your loss. I recently met a World War II veteran at Pearl Harbor. His name is John Gleeson, and I’m hoping to get him on my podcast as a way to not lose some of his stories. It’s crazy to think about that big chapter of life with no one who was actually there to experience it. But that is part of life. My condolences.
The vast majority of us have or had grandparents. My grandpa passed away in 1983. I was living in northern Alaska at the time and it destroyed me. I was named after him. And he would get in the Time Life WW2 series of books and of course sign each one and I'd go to his house and borrow them. Once a week my family would drive to Auburn Washington to visit my grandparents. Grandpa would give me 4 or 5 dollars in quarters and if go buy comics. That's the first time I saw military models. Not sure of the manufacturer but I can clearly remember the box art. That was around 1981. That started my modeling history. As a grandpa now(I'm 52), I do the same to my grandbaby. Hugs and kisses and good times. As for your grandpa? 94 or so years is a long quality life. You got to spend quality time with him into your adult years. Many can't say that. I'm so happy that you got to do that. As children it is a lot harder to understand what our elders had to endure over the years. The older you get, the more "real" that becomes. RIP to your grandpa. And God doped to you. We are all here for a certain amount of time. Make use of it. Do good. And hug your family members.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm glad you were able to talk with and learn from your grandfather. Mine passed a couple years ago. He was a veteran of WWII but never wanted to talk about his experience. Thank you for what you do.
I'm very sorry to hear about your grandpa. My sincere condolences. My grandpa was also born in 1939 and passed away a few years ago. He couldn't remember much of the war, but my grandma lost 3 brothers and her father - either to fighting or the inprisonment after the war. We should always remember. Thank you very much for this nice video and never be shy to share such thoughts with us. You are a great person!
Please accept my condolences in the loss of your grandfather. It sounds like he had some interesting stories to help bring life to your work that you so ably demonstrate. Thank you for sharing his story, and your own. Blessings to you my friend.
My deepest condolences on your loss.😢 There's not a day that goes by that I don't think of my grandfather. He was just a young man who joined the army to go fight overseas. Sadly he was wounded on Juno Beach and was sent home due to his injuries. He was lucky to survive that day. Many of his friends didn't. He didn't talk much about the war till the last couple years of his life. I would spend remembrance day with him watching the ceremonies on TV. It's because of those sacrifices made that day,we have the freedoms we enjoy.
My condolences for your loss and you're right we need to keep all their memories alive. I volunteer at a small military museum and we have the honor of helping preserve some of these memories.
So sorry about your loss. As a Historian, you are so right, and you do an amazing job in depicting an important part of history accurately. You might not know it, but you do more than you think.
Wonderful little model, always impressive how you add/remove all those little details that so many of us would ignore☺ Using the oak veneer around the edge looks smart & gives a great presentation 👌 Some very poignant words at the end there. Sorry for your loss😔 My father has just turned 90 & was a child during the German occupation of the Channel Islands. Always love hearing his stories, walking to school past marching German soldiers, the nighttime curfews & the hunger. We so enjoy creating these plastic scenarios, but it’s so important to remember the real life stories of the people who lived through them…..☺👍
My grandfather's both passed before I was old enough to know them. But my grandmothers lived with us for a long time My paternal grandmother used to tell me about fleeing Imperial Japanese patrols scouring the countryside where she lived looking for comfort women. Those conversations always stuck with me as she was the only one would talk about those darkest of days. We do owe it to them to remember these events. My condolences on your loss
I lost my grandfather this year, too. The hardest part for me was we had a falling out and didn't really see each other much, so when I got the news, I was devastated. I wish I could've spent more time with him.
I’m so sorry to hear about your grandfather Martin, what you said about the generation that lived through those times was very true and I think that is part of the reason why some of us build models
Thank you for the words you said about your grandfather. I recently lost my father, he was born in 1937 and I have his stories of the war here in Italy imprinted in my mind. Reproducing fractions of history in scale is a valid way to not forget. Condolences to all your family.
My condolences about the loss of your grandfather, my Great Grandfather passed earlier this year so you sharing this news was very emotionally touching, and your message about spending time with them and listening to their stories of the war and preserving those stories made me tear up, thank you for such eloquent, simple yet very meaningful words and sentiment, all the best to you
My deepest sympathies on the loss of your Grandfather. The loss of someone who cared so much is never easy to cope with. Especially when it happens the same day. My paternal grandfather served in WWII. He never spoke of his time though, It wasn't until he was close to passing that each of the grandchildren got a chapter from his service log. While we all knew about his time at VMI. He built a house on property that was very close to the school. My chapter was all about his time in the CIC. "Counter-Intelligence Corps" Learning so much more about him and furthering my affection, bond and want for more knowledge. He actually got me started building scale models. He was truly one of the good men.
So sorry to hear about the loss of your grandfather. Your comments about him and the future are so true. Thank you for the honesty.
very true statements indeed! my condolences to Martin
I think we all offer our prayers and condolences. My grandfather has similar childhood memories of the war. I am so sorry for your loss.
My condolences. My grandpa was a bit older (born 1927) and was a teenage partisan fighter in WW2, got unscathed through all the battlefields of ex Yugoslavia. His stories were so eerie and strong...

Condolences on your loss. Losing a grandparent is tough and the older you get the more you miss their wisdom and stories. Great work as usual!
I'm sorry for the loss of your grandfather, thank you for keeping his legacy alive for all of us. Seems like he was quite the interesting man.
My condolences, Night Shift. I could hear the love and respect you had for your grandfather as you spoke about him, I'd bet he's very proud of you.
My condolences to you Nightshift. You sound like you loved him, I am sure he was happy that you took such an interest in him and his life.
Sorry for your loss man. And you're right: it's important to keep history alive so (at least some of us) can learn from it.
I am very sorry to hear about your loss. All the best to you and your family & thank you for the content.
Sorry to hear about the passing of your grandfather, Great work so far, stay inside and get well soon, all the best Martin, Take care.
Great video execution man, as always,
Condolence for your grandpa. You spoke very wise words about valuing and preserving their memories.
Sorry to hear about your grandfather, as a World War Two collector I am also very sad that every year there will be less and less veterans to hear from, so thank you veterans! Loved the video, and ready to see part two
Sorry for your loss, It's hard to lose the ones we love. Building little pieces of history helps us never to forget.
Condolences for your grandad. This diorama is already looking awesome!
So sorry for your loss. God bless you and your family.
Respect.
Sorry you’re sick and for the loss of your grandfather Martin. I hope you feel better soon mate. Great build!!!!
Nonetheless, thank you as always for your amazing work and inspiration to us all
My condolences on the loss of your grandfather , and you are completely correct about listening to the few people who still remember the war.
So very sorry for your loss , my friend. Anything we can do, as modelers, to keep history visual and tangible is needed to help others and the generations to come understand conflict. Your diorama looks to be another stunning success. Blessings to you and family.
Sorry for your loss Brother. Im sure he was proud of your skills and passion.
Sorry for your loss Unc Night Shift, heartfelt condolences. This diorama is coming out fine as always.
Excellent work as always! My condolences on the loss of your Grandfather! ❤️
Sorry to hear about your grandfather . My condolences . As always a great build .
My condolences!!! Great tribute to your grandfather!
Wyrazy współczucia z powodu odejścia dziadka. Trzymaj się cieplutko i zdrowiej Martinie. Do usłyszenia kolejnym razem. Cheers
Martin, sincere condolences for your loss, bond with grand parents is something very special. The diorama looks great, like everything you create.💔
Hasn't even been out long enough to watch the whole thing and already 200 likes. Gotta love the love
Wonderful little model, always impressive how you add/remove all those little details that so many of us would ignore☺ Using the oak veneer around the edge looks smart & gives a great presentation 👌
Some very poignant words at the end there.
But my grandmothers lived with us for a long time
My paternal grandmother used to tell me about fleeing Imperial Japanese patrols scouring the countryside where she lived looking for comfort women.
I’m sorry for your loss Martin. Thank you for a lovely video. I hope you and your family can find some happiness in his memory.
So Sorry to hear about your grandfather passing. I hope the pain eases soon, it never goes away but it gets bearable.
I see uncle, I click, simple as.
👍
