Nervous About Your Presentation? Tips to Control Your Nerves

- And then… you’re standing in front of your audience and your breath suddenly stops. Your throat is dry, and your voice is stuttering. Even though you’ve prepared so well. But don’t worry, because even at this late stage, there’s an easy way to control your nerves!
When you’re standing on stage for your presentation, you might want to start talking straight away. Because the sooner you start, the sooner you’ll be finished, right?
But that doesn’t make you any more confident. It only shortens the duration of the punishment…
The best thing to do: just go on stage and relax first. Don’t say anything yet. Stand firm. Spread your weight evenly on both feet. Feel the floor underneath them. Take deep, relaxing breaths, and look at your audience for a few seconds.
And then, you’re ready to start.
They’ll hang on your every word. And you might even enjoy every moment!

My voice suddenly starts trembling during presentation. I don't know why it happens but it's so embracing for me. This effects my whole presentation and sometimes this trembling situation shifts to my whole body from head to toe and even my legs starts trembling😢
Those nerves can be brutal, for sure! Next time, try taking a few minutes at least a few hours before the presentation starts to pause, close your eyes, and mentally walk through the entire presentation from start to finish. Be sure to FEEL your emotions and let them wash over you. Let yourself shake. 😀 Then, when it’s time to stand up there, you’ve already felt the nerves and are familiar with the feeling beforehand. They won’t be gone entirely, but they should stay manageable. The WORST thing you can do is suppress or try to block the nerves. You’ve got this! 😀👍🏻
This can be a part of social anxiety but don't worry you're not alone
@@pafpassion4214 yup
I’d be careful not to stand there staring at your audience for more than one or two seconds, or it could get awkward real fast! 😂
I tried this. It dosent stop the anxiety but it kinda helps
I hope it will work.
Bro I try so hard but it still happens
same man , its so awful when you are a low grade student accompanied with such issues lol

@@jupiter2453 bro one thing that have kind helped me a bit is to just think of a funny situation on the dice before presenting. in this way , it will calm u abit ....lol i havent improved eithe rbut 0.1% with this tip only ahaha
@@uniqueunonymous1055you and us bro😢
Tips that helped me deliver my graduation speech when I was anxious (scared to death) about it:
1: Meditate for 10 min every day
2: Give yourself positive affirmations leading up to the presentation
3: Use breathing exercises to calm your heart rate and clear your mind
4: Find the time to completely relax your body and mind so that you are able to do this in any situation
5: Practice the presentation as many times as possible before you deliver it unless it creates more stress
6: Believe that there are people who support and love you, because it is true
7: Accept the possibility of failure, and think of it as a learning opportunity, no matter how scared you are of it
Try these tips out and I wish you the best of luck
Love these tips! On #5 (practicing), I’d actually recommend being SUPER prepared with the content and flow and everything but NOT practicing the delivery. The more you practice, the more mechanical and robotic you may seem. Connecting with your audience comes with being natural and genuine and authentic, not regurgitating content. Just a thought. Thanks for the great tips! 😀
Thank you so much ❤
