    I've tried so many quilting videos and this is the first time I've seen someone explain it so succinctly and to the point. It was easy to understand and I didn't get bored listening to someone talk on and on and explain the obvious. And I admire so much how diligent she was in keeping good habits, even when it took more time. Thank you so much for posting this.

    I have never seen binding done that way; always fold binding. This looks more efficient. I'll give it a try.

    Thank you so much for making this tutorial. I had to make a quilt of pieces of fabric with good wishes, prayers, song lyrics and sage advice written on them from good friends and family for the birth of my daughters baby. I had no clue how to put it together.

    Just another note. Your tutorial really helped me with the mitered corners and the binding. I tried that thread and it broke a needle so ended up using my normal thread. I guess there is a secret to using that thread that I haven't figured out yet. Thanks again for all your help!

    I 100% agree with Terry Dee (below). My goodness. I was amazed at how much easier it is to understand binding after watching your video. I have seen techniques for the mitred corners where I practically had to turn my head upside down to try to understand what they were doing! You have inspired me to finish my quilt!!     I used your tutorial for my first quilt and it came out really nice, however I wanted a thicker binding, so I tried doing the conversion on my own, and it worked out well enough its just that I didn't do something quite right to get the Mitered Corners, they ended up being rounded, which happened to work out nicely, however I am making a quilt for my new nephew and I would like not to make the same mistake again, and I cant seem to find how to do a 2in binding anywhere..

      me too, great miter corner tutorial. For me, I prefer to finish the binding on the front. I want to make sure My stitches are hitting the binding edge on the face side. But still a great tutorial for the miter corners. I always go crazy with those.
