I've tried so many quilting videos and this is the first time I've seen someone explain it so succinctly and to the point. It was easy to understand and I didn't get bored listening to someone talk on and on and explain the obvious. And I admire so much how diligent she was in keeping good habits, even when it took more time. Thank you so much for posting this.
Thank you so much, Pamela! We're SEW happy you liked it! :)
I have never seen binding done that way; always fold binding. This looks more efficient. I'll give it a try.
Thank you! This really helped me.
That was so cute when you corrected yourself and said "right sides together, Jessica." I do that to myself all the time! And this tutorial was WONDERFUL! Thank you!
Very helpful video!!!! I've never made a quilt before & had no clue what to do. this video made it possible!!!! Thanx so much!!!
Aww I see now I'm going go do this now as I'm new to patchwork and just bought a new sewing machine and want to learn something new.
It made a Covid project so easy

Thanks for the smile! I do the same thing :)

came here just to see if anyone else noticed this :) great video!
I have never quilted before. I live in a lockdown area in Australia and decided to use some scraps to make a small baby quilt. Thank you for your generosity with sharing your wealth of knowledge. I followed your instructions and found them so helpful.
Very pretty. Thank you for your patience and showing us your secrets ❤
Just wanted to thank you. I just finished my first quilt and used your tutorials. The binding was the one part I had never seen or done. Your guide was awesome. It worked!! I handed my daughter her new quilt last night and she loves it
Your video is easier to understand than the videos I have paid to watch. Thank you.

Thank you so much for your expertise! I am finishing my first quilt, and your videos helped me do an even better job than I imagined :)
Awesome help. I'm trying to learn how to quilt with my Anita Goodesign quilting designs.
Thank you, I am getting ready to finish my baby quilt.
Experience is a must:)
Thanks so much for this video, I know it is 7 years later but I just found it!!! Your great!
Thanks a LOT for the video... I searched a good while til I found someone who explains the last step folding over the binding on the back... Really useful and great tutorial!
I watched many UA-cam videos about binding and found yours to be the most helpful. I'm an advanced sewer, but never made a quilt. Thank you
Thank you so much for making this tutorial. I had to make a quilt of pieces of fabric with good wishes, prayers, song lyrics and sage advice written on them from good friends and family for the birth of my daughters baby. I had no clue how to put it together.
Thank you!!!!
I love the way you demonstrated your binding, I've watched other videos of mitred corners, but never understood them, but you make it look easy, thank you!
Thank you!
Thanks for sharing, I finally understand how the final steps are done ...whew ....Michael from Florida

Thank you so much! I recently started sewing again after 20 years. I refer to this clip every time I sew a binding. It's the easiest method I have found with easy to understand instructions.
You are a great instructor. I made my first proper binding on a quilt thanks to you. Took forever but I did it. Thank you.
Wow! I have been watching binding videos and have found yours to be the easiest. I will be using this method on my very first quilt. ( Can you imagine my FIRST at age 64)!
I love anita good designs. They always sew out so nicely and they are beautiful.
Best explanation I have received n binding. Than you.

So, thank you so much for your videos, they’re very understandable.
This is the best way to do binding I have ever tried. This is the only way from now on I will do mine. Thank you for a very informative video.
So happy to see you. Really missed you throughout the group!
+Dee Brown I miss the quilting group also.
just love how clear the way you explain things..great job and love your hair..
Just another note. Your tutorial really helped me with the mitered corners and the binding. I tried that thread and it broke a needle so ended up using my normal thread. I guess there is a secret to using that thread that I haven't figured out yet. Thanks again for all your help!
Your clear, concise instruction and demonstration has taught me to quilt so, I thank you very much. I would like to know about the machine you are using. Would you please share that with me?
Thank you so much for your clear instructions! I was working on my first quilting project and you saved me. Your demonstrations made it easy.
I 100% agree with Terry Dee (below). My goodness. I was amazed at how much easier it is to understand binding after watching your video. I have seen techniques for the mitred corners where I practically had to turn my head upside down to try to understand what they were doing! You have inspired me to finish my quilt!! Thank you so much. Nancy Baker :p
Thank you very easy to understand. I am a beginner and this makes sense
thanks so much for your help, its great for me to learn as I am a beginner. Love your video.

This was so brilliant. I was racking my brain trying to figure out how to do this. You have taught me so much and all I wanted to know at the time was how to do batting. THANK YOU!
Brilliant video, you make it look so easy, I have always had problems with mitres but now I have mastered the technique thanks to you.

Love it thank you so much
thank you!
Thank you for the videos, they are SO helpful! Do you have any videos about adding sleeves or tabs to quilts for hanging them? Thanks!
Hi Kate, I don't think we have any videos specifically covering that, but you can email our technical support guru, Martha, for suggestions! Her email is martha@anita-goodesign.com
Thank you for the tutorial. I am making my first quilt and needed some help on this process. What clear thread do you recommend.
Thank you for very clear explanations. I am wondering why you use 1/2 inch seem allowance when it is usually 1/4 inch. I am new
I used your tutorial for my first quilt and it came out really nice, however I wanted a thicker binding, so I tried doing the conversion on my own, and it worked out well enough its just that I didn't do something quite right to get the Mitered Corners, they ended up being rounded, which happened to work out nicely, however I am making a quilt for my new nephew and I would like not to make the same mistake again, and I cant seem to find how to do a 2in binding anywhere..
I would have liked to see what it looked like on the back.
me too, great miter corner tutorial. For me, I prefer to finish the binding on the front. I want to make sure My stitches are hitting the binding edge on the face side. But still a great tutorial for the miter corners. I always go crazy with those.
Hi .awesome job ..thank you .....What is the machine you are using ..ty again ..
How many battings do i want for a regular all season blanket?
Nice quilt design especially the Christmas tree design.
How to download the quilt design.
