Anita Goodesign can trace our beginnings to 1994 when Founder, Steve Wilson, purchased his first personal computer. One thing led to another and Steve began to teach himself graphic design, then machine embroidery, and then he combined the two when he set his sights on digitizing. This evolution allowed him to go from working with standard, generic embroidery to original, custom-designed works of art!
More than 20 years later and Anita Goodesign is unquestionably the top embroidery design company in the world. With more than 50 full-time employees, we are based in Charlotte and manufacture all of our products here, from conception to completion!

I really enjoy your videos, but is there some way to turn down the background music? It is very distracting.

Thank you - such an easy way to quilt. I have never made a quilt in the traditional manner and I would be out of my depth, but this way ... I can do!

Why use largest hoop for block and waste all the stabilizer?

Can someone please direct me to the video that "FINISHES" the quilt. I have the block down. But now I have blocks that sew directly together without a sashing and it is a train wreck on the back. How do you finish that kind of quilt. I can't believe that we have these amazing instructions LITERALLY step by step and then NOTHING regarding putting the quilt pieces together or finishing with the backing and binding. This is a bulky awful mess on the back of this quilt and I am sure there must be a way to do it - but I can find nothing that shows me that. Help please.

I second this question! I just made my first Anita block and love the design, and love that the borders were included, but the back is a mess. How in the world do I turn this into a finished product? I'm going to retry my block and put down a backing piece with the batting and hopefully that will produce something useful!

Great comparison of the techniques. Is the backing already on the blocks?

All the embroidery quilts I have made are like this. You still have to cut the batting, then the 9 inch square. If you want to add sashing, you will have to cut that, you would also be cutting borders. I do not really know what you are saying, as most quilt blocks made on an embroidery machine are made this way

they like to make it seem like they are the only company that knows how to do stuff that has to do with embroidery and everyone else is inferior. Its too pompous and it makes me not want to purchase anything from them
