I've made this stuff for decades at Christmas and your thing with the pizza wheel is an incrediblly SMART thing to do! I'd have never thought of that. Thank you for teaching an old dog a new trick! Christmas Blessings to You.
THANKS SO MUCH for sharing your step by step tutorial on this hard candy! My mom used to make this every Christmas. Mom has passed on, never did get her recipe but this brought back some great childhood memories! I will be making this now that I can watch how to do it! Thanks again, so much! Great tutorial!
Walls...Big time family name in Windsor/Detroit area, very cool, loving families on both sides of the Border...Nice keep it simple video, I just began researching candy making a few days ago, having a blast. Love your business idea. Candy survives all depressions, when you become poor, candy becomes the vacation.
Thank you so much for this video! I really want to make hard candy for Christmas this year and this is the exact recipe I wanted. ❤ p.s. super cute kids! 💕
New subscriber here from Trinidad and Tobsgo...im going to try for the first time. going to make gifts for my sisters for Valentines Day. Thanks so much for sharing💕💕💕💕
Love the video! I’ve been making this candy for years, but thought id watch for any new tips. I’ve been scoring the candy with a large knife, 😬 but the pizza cutter trick never occurred to me 😏😆 Thanks so much for the tip!!😁
I make own ones without unnessesary ingredients like food colouring and i also use real fruit instead of artificial flavouring. Fruits keep their beautiful colours with a hint of citric acid so lovely.
From the bottom of my heart and soul thank you so much for this video. I will have my 8 grandkids 🏠 for often thanks 😊 to u God bless you always and ur family 😂🥳😘🙏
Really u make a very delicious candy !! Thanks a lot for inspiration I love this I hope u tells us more and more best ideas to make delicious candy making business ideas. Thanks a lot mam!!!
I've never made hard candy. All I want is simple vanilla hard candy but I can't find it anywhere so I have to do it myself. What if you wanted a creamy hard candy? Have you ever seen those Lifesavers Creamsavers? Or Werther's Orginals? What would I add to it?
It’s sort of the same. Toffee in Australia is boiled until it starts to turn colour, like a deep golden colour but before it burns . No colours or flavourings are added it’s used as is
I made cinnamon flavoured ones a couple weeks ago. Used the microwave method which is easier. ( Come Sit at my table” channel, you tube). Loann oil sells cinnamon. I used one dram and it was spicey! To me, tastes like the jolly ranchers. However, watched another guy add 4 bottles ! 😳I can’t imagine 4 bottles I’d die. He also added regular cinnamon spice.
Thank you for watching!!
Thanks for sharing! I can't wait to try all these, winters setting here so, im going to make candy this year!
Great video! Just one question - how many ml is "one cup of water"?

I would get citric acid and mix it with powdered sugar. You would get some nice tart taste.
Very straight forward!!

Can you please tell me the difference in using strawberry bakery emulsion & the lorann strawberry oil?
The favor is more intense to me. With Loann you have to use too much to really really taste the favor. I hope this helps
Thanks for responding so promptly!❤
@@lbillups6113 no problem
Thank you so much ,I love
I love your recipe

Is this a nonstick pot? Are there metal pots I shouldn’t use?

Can I use this Loran emulsion flavour for making sugar floss flavour
Yes
They actually do have a cotton candy flavour. I just bought a bunch of the Lorann oils and saw it there. They have a great selection.
Couldn’t you put the powdered sugar in a large bag, put the candy in said bag and shake it up?
Yes

Nhyiraba Kiki no it will not get hard without the karo syrup
@@Howtomaniac82 Alright Maa thanks🙏
We don’t have Karo here, we have glucose syrup which works just as well.
