Finally!!! I remember these ribbon Candie's in our Xmas stockings every year as a child! It's so great to finally see how it's made😀💜 Thank you for bringing the love of making it to the love our family experienced over the years. From the 1960's till now💯✨

Growing up my parents bought ribbon candy and we made pull taffy. Sometimes we'd grease our hands with peanut butter. Yum! We would go out and gather fresh fallen snow. Such fond memories of my childhood. Time's were alot simpler then. ❤

I remember ribbon candy much thinner. It's still a favorite anytime of the year if you can find it. His shop is in Canada and I looked them up. They don't ship internationally though. I enjoyed watching the making of it.

Nothing new here... and the prices are typical CA High... $1.85 for ONE PIECE of ribbon candy!?!?!?!? He made 375 pieces from this batch of corn syrup and sugar... that's $525 a batch on about $20 worth of ingredients... what a business!

We used to have these from a street vendor when we were little. This was in Punjab India around 1995-8.

Frankly it’s hard bloody work. The sugar is heavy and doesn’t move easily as it starts to cool and stiffen up.
