Thank you and the entire team for always providing a clear and concise look at how traditional candy making is performed. I can't wait to take my son to the shop one of these days!
Monty Python and the Holy Grail was made in 1975!! I had to look it up, but I knew it was not in the ‘80’s because that is when I first watched it and it was old then! I just love the banter you all have! That is what makes these videos so much fun!!
They aren't allowed to film in supermarkets anymore, they were caught and got in trouble, silly really because the companies could have watched the UA-cam videos and realised they (Mom/Craig) never said one bad word about the companies and provided lots of free advertising. Even more so now that 150,000 subscribers has become 700,000 subscribers, but it is their decision I guess. As for the Mukadoos I'm sure they would if they had the time, Craig cooks occasionally on his channel No Egg Craig.
I finally went to Hercules Candy few days ago after watching their videos for years! I got to put my pin in the map 😆😆 Thank you Terry and Steve. I love the sour candy!!
They had to use the coconuts as horses because the film’s budget was so low and they couldn’t afford to get horses, trainers, and vets so they improvised it and it became a calling card for the movie.
Love your super sour candies. Too funny about Steve's shirt. My mom, brothers and I love that movie. I like when that one knight runs away from the three headed ogre and his musician sings about him running away like a coward. LOL!
My sister and I just bought a bag of these and we're not disappointed! They have such good flavor!!! It's the perfect amount of sour and the watermelon was my favorite. 10/10
I love the blue so pretty. But I don't like Rasbery all that much. I had a thought of chocolate ribbon filled with coconut cream. Now that sounds almost as good as chocolate caramel filled ribbon candy. Almost. Oooh, and a spicy chocolate sounds good!
I remember when I was in 6th grade and I watched your videos, I can tell that business is thriving and so is your editing skills! What a blast from the past, love the content!
Great episode! Loved watching the candy making process and the conversation even better! I’m also a huge Monty Python fan but my most favorite movie is Life of Brian! Biggus Dickus!
I'm remembering a candy from childhood. Does anybody remember the Half Sweet Half Sour suckers? I'd love to see y'all do something half sweet, half sour.
It's been a really long time since I've last seen your videos! I remember how excited your family was to get that chocolate enrober after seeing another shop's demo and when you guys had a broken wall (I can't remember what happened there). Glad to see you guys are still using the same techniques with some updated equipment! True craftmanship is hard to recreate without that tradition and I'm glad that you're still doing it all!
@@HerculesCandy I love your family! You guys have always been a very entertaining crowd. Glad to see you flourishing in success. Still hoping to see Hercules products in my local store one day!
Is it actually this fun to work there, or is it just this fun on camera? Every video I've seen, you are all having alot of fun, while making the most beautiful sweets & treats. Monty Python is extremely funny, because of its silliness, and oddities. "We are the knights who say....NEE"
I'm making some candy today! I tested first with just melting sugar and using maple syrup because I had nothing else on hand. It made these Mapley glass candies. I have some citric acid coming today and some flavoring I'm reaaaalllyy excited. Everything about this excites me even just seeing the cool little tool he used to scrape the pot. It amazes me the things candy makers have found that just work.
Monty Python's Flying Circus was my favourite show as a child, even though I didn't understand it, I knew it was funny and loved it. A Hard Day's Night was my fave of faves as a child and I still think it brilliant, for the same reasons; it is funny. The US guy in the group was the graphics designer/animator who wrote movies that are great, like: Search for the Holy grail, Brazil (a fave for me), Time Bandits produced by George Harrison, Meaning of Life, Life of Brian, etc. One of the scariest for me, was Tidelands, because it was somewhat innocent view from child's perspective but from ours... Scary to me. Someday I hope to afford shipping to where I live. I'd love to try the super sour flavours.
First time watching and immediately off the back I was sold by the love and humor of this amazing family. You guys motivate me to get into the candy making industry and I thank you for laying the foundation! 💙💙💙🙏
I was up in Glencoe recently and took a drive down the Loch Linnhe road when I stumbled upon Castle Stalker, a set in .... Holy Grail (near the end). Interestingly, one of my first thoughts was the Andrianos clan!
I just love Monty Python to and their type of comedy is known as burlesque. Thank you for your wonderful candy videos they always have a way of relaxing me.
I would periodically watch the program. It originated in 1969 with Graham Chapman, John Cleese (who is also my favorite) , Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle (who is my favorite), Terry Jones, and Michael Palin. They were active 1969-1983, 1989, 1998-1999, 2002, 2013-2014.
I thought you guys only make ribbon candy for Christmas now I see that you guys are making different kinds of flavor of ribbon candy to taste and even make money for people can enjoy the candy
Life of Bryan is the best of Monty Python. The aquaduct scene, Biggus Dickus, the dead ringer scene are all so good. Holy Grail all the knights are just crazy people escaped from the asylum😂
Oh no! German girl here.... love it. We also had a musical adaption in theatre before the pandemic. Also its forbidden to watch life of Brian with open windows good friday
mannnnn i used to BINGE watch y’all EVERY SINGLE DAY but then i broke my phone and forgot the name of ur channel but since i’ve found it again, most definitely subscribing bc i ain’t trying to lose y’all again ❤😂😂😂😂

Yay Steve's wearing the shirt I sent. The graphics made me laugh when I saw it. Spaceballs is the film I always rewatch.
You clearly have phenomenal taste in movies 👌
One comment?? I’m here to fix that
I know the movie spaceballs, it’s star wars better cousin.
May the Schwartz be with you!

How is modern equipment "traditional" ? Some aspects maybe but definitely would not go that far
zamn- who asked? @@Justmebeingme37
@@Justmebeingme37he never said anything about the equipment. He was talking about the candy and how it’s traditional

That beautiful galaxy midnight blue 🌌 looks amazing 🤤
Those colors are gorgeous!
Steve, if you love Holy Grail you must watch Time Bandits. Written by on of the Pythons, and cameo roles for the others. V v v funny 😂😂😂
Hi Wendy... yes!! Time Bandits = excellent movie.
My nephews are obsessed with sour candy. This would really make their day.
I lost how many times Quick Steve said ''It's good''.
Must be pretty good. :)

Yes! Charms Sweet and Sour and they still make them! I bought a box from jungle Jim's
I think I remember those!
I feel like a sour cranberry flavor would be really good. I bought a lbs of the assorted and ate it to myself in 5 days lol

“Bring out ya dead!! Bring out your dead!!” “But I’m not dead, I’m not dead!”

When someone said late 80's or 90's I actually laughed out loud. 😂😂 I guess I'm old... Holy Grail came out in 1975. C'mon Steve! 😂
I know I'm old since we watched that in high school as a Christmas treat in 91.

Hi guys ,it all looks yummy. Craig getting on with his badness again, lol Love watching you guys ,have lots of fun Hugs
This is wonderful and looks delicious!
I find it comfortable watching my loved movies over again.
@herculescandies Hey everyone! Such pretty colors! Terry, when can you ask the Candy Team try making the 'I Double Dog Dare You' experiments?
Monty python and the flying circus was the name of the show. I watched it when I was in my early teens on t.v. in the states.
I love that blue color 🔵

As a british viewer growing up watching Monty Python this video brough me great pleasure and nostalgia
That beautiful blue color before adding the citric acid...
My mouth was salivating the whole time! Too sour for me!
Even MOAR sour! I watched an old video of y’all’s when you would put like 1/4 c of citric acid in lol
Why do I feel like the blue candy would benefit from some edible glitter ☺️
Monestial Blue
Stunning
Has a tinge of warm green to give turquoise depth to it
One of my favourite colours in paintjngs
My step dad introduced me to the Monty Python movies at about age 12, I love them all! 💙 The Meaning of Life is my favorite tho lol
Haha!! The blue gloves y’all wear look exactly like my welding gloves I have at work! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I have always been a huge python fan and I think the closest we've got to them relatively recently is the mighty boosh!
Monty Python and the Holy Grail is from 1975 and is stupid funny. I was born in 61, so it was right up my alley.......lol
History of the world part 1 is one of my favorites.
I love❤ the Anise flavored Hard Candy!
Steve's arms are swole💪
The Ron Swanson cut in was perfect!
1st time watching this. Always wanted to see how ribbon candy was made. Every X-Mas i got my mother some.
Spiced jelly beans are the best. I wish more mom & pop candy shops could keep them in stock.
Super sour apple ribbon with caramel creme just like this one sounds so good rn 😂
It is the perfect shade of Smurf blue😁
It’s Mother’s Day in Australia, Your mum is awesome, Hope she has a sneaky candy. Love your video

The Life of Brian was my favorite. I love the “Romans go home” scene.

Great production for the intro. I loving these edits
always looks so fun to make candy like you guys do.
I couldn't tell you how many times we've watched Monty Python. Blazing Saddles is also a ridiculous one we've seen multiple times.
Sep Steve has the right idea a happy wife leads to a happy life !!!!!🙏🙏🙏

Nope, Canadians love Monty Python too.

Everybody should watch the film A Fish Called Wanda, it stars half of the Monty Python cast.

I'm in England, pick me some up on the way past 😂
I love spicy candy, but never understood the addition of wintergreen and other minty flavors along with the spice. Cardamom would be interesting.
I wish I could try some I absolutely love sour candy
Blue Raspberry Pucker ! lol
Poor kiddo. Alex is a handsome kid and I hope he finds someone that will treat him like he deserves and not abuse him. No one deserves that.
Ahhh... Monty Pyton. Love it! And it's one of the closest movie to the origin Holy Grail story
