When propane or butane burn they both produce moisture. So the inside of the boat can get quite wet. Also hopefully if your using it at night or in the day for that matter you have adequate ventilation.
Yeah best not to use in closed In areas. Same rules as a buddy heater. I like the dual fuel you could use a 15 lb bottle as well with the proper hose. 73
Hey Dave! Still camping on the water here on the panhandle. Hope all is good there, are you close to the coast? Cool that you are still watching. Thanks!
Absolutely love your UA-cam videos. You talk and act like a down to earth bloke. It’s just like I’m onboard and we are having a chat. I think we will have to adopt you as an Aussie. And the music is super . You have inspired us to go boating again.
Hello Mick! I have this big smile to know that I could be an Aussie! I hope you do get out there again, life is so short. Thank you and thanks for watching.
@@ChristopherQuest Great to hear from you. Can't wait to see what you get up to next. Would love to know what it is like to sleep on your Macgregor. Do you get a good night's sleep. Regards Mick and Carol.. your Aussie Mates.
i have the old model with the hose. great little stove which gets more use than my duel burner stove. I do like the new regulator and the way it attaches. i use a small cast iron griddle on mine all the time.
I make sure I only use an average size Chinese wok with my stove. That way I've got a larger pan, but the slopping sides keeps the heat away from the cylinder.
Hello Monica, I also have found that just cooking heats up the space just fine. I think it may be a good reason to always cook inside when it's cold. The stove alone can do the job in some cases for sure. Thanks for watching!
Isn’t it unsafe for the propane tank to be slanted on its side like that? And that close to the burner? Couldn’t it possibly light up or explode because of the metal adapter placing it in such an awkward position?
Hello, I must admit, I am just a user of the product and I do not know all of the specific reasons for the way it was manufactured. I would suggest contacting GasOne as they would have experts. Good thoughts and Thanks for watching!
Hello Larry, I would not disagree at all. I was trying to limit the amount of gear I carry and hope to use the stove for multiple needs so I don't need to bring a Buddy Heater. ( i have a buddy heater and it does work great) Thanks for watching!
Do you have a updated link? The model on Amazon doesn't have the Rubber Adapter hose, it has the metal extension type like here?! *(OR DOES IT MATTER?)* Can you help? PLEASE.*
Hello, I think the style with a rubber hose may be available on e-bay. I believe there were safety concerns with that model. The metal tube style works great and the regulator is better. Thanks for watching!
Hello, I have fun with the different available products. Not for everyone, but fun to try it out. It gives me a reason to head outdoors and have some adventure. Thanks for watching!
Hi I have one of the old models and just purchased the new one. It does fine on full open but cuts off when I go to half way mark. Any thoughts? The first edition always simmered very well Thanks!
Hello Katy, This is different. I would suggest returning the one that cuts out and get it replaced. Not sure what is happening there. Thanks for watching!
Hello John, Yes - here it is! www.amazon.com/dp/B09RN22HDQ?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details It is on Amazon. I will add to the page. Thanks for watching!

Hello Teresa, Thanks and thank you for watching!
Now that was interesting! I love how you fiddle with gadgets to make them work for you. Thanks.

Hello Thomas, The flex hose is a great idea for sure. There may be an upgraded model at some point. Thanks for watching!

I just use the stove to heat my minivan. It works very fast.

You said you got the springs for hoding the heater cover off of Amazon, but you did not give a link to it.
Oh wow, sorry about that here is the link, thanks and I will add to the video description. Thanks!

Seems the New My Buddy Heater would be better and better use of fuel.

It is MY pleasure..! PLEASE just film on (and keep on getting experienced) 👀🍓🍺@@ChristopherQuest
Also, do you know if you can still apply a hose adapter to propane tanks for the new model that has the metal adapter?
Hello, I have not seen this myself, but there are so many adapters made, it's possible. I do not know for sure myself. Thanks for watching!

@@ChristopherQuest Will do! Thanks for answering my question!
Should you really be putting a heater that close to a butane tank?
Hello Andrew, This is a good question. The good thing is that the heat rises, but great care should be used for sure. Thanks for watching!
have a link for that stove?
